Is there a mod for Skyrim that autosaves the game at custom time intervals, like every 5 minutes? I found one, but it needed some weird script extender thing that wasn't skse so I assume it doesn't work. Installed like 2 gigabytes of mods and the game seems to be crashing here and there but I really don't want to disable any of the stuff I downloaded so..

I mean yeah of course I could make a habit of quicksaving all the time, autosaves would just make things easier for me

and literally as soon as i finish writing this i find one

The skyrimprefs.ini should do it.
fAutosaveEveryXMins=15.0000
i doubt there is any way to stop the random fucking crashes?

If you've downloaded tons of mods, check the papyrus log.

Oh, nice, thanks. The mod is working fine now but I'll make sure to do that if it stops working.
The companion options whatever mod is literally the best mod I have. Sven's dancing the dumbest hip hop dance I've seen every time he's idle :v:

where's that and what does it do
[editline]19th May 2013[/editline]
also, one last question: what are some good and necessary oblivion mods I should download? I cannot bare going through the nexus
I cannot bare going through the nexus
the irony it burns
the irony it burns
sorry but how is that irony
the irony it burns
yeah no that's not irony
that's more of an "accidental pun"
Are there any decent animation mods for Oblivion?

I don't wanna know do I
Are there any decent animation mods for Oblivion?
Estrus
Well, I am nearing almost 200 hours in Skyrim - I have yet to complete the main quest on any character I've made.
I have been playing Morrowind since it came out in 2002 (who knows how many hours) and I have yet to complete the mother fucking main quest.
What the hell.
skyrim's main quest is pretty poopy
you're not missing much
Yeah but the last area in the game is probably one of the coolest areas in any elder scrolls game
Well, the skybox is at least.
So I finally started playing Dragonborn. I go to Solstheim and everything's pretty cool and shit, then I begin that mine quest and as I'm exploring the mine suddenly I hear moans and shit. I wonder to myself what kind of new and exciting enemy I'm about to face.
As I turn around I laugh and think "Of course it's fucking DRAUGR!"
After playing Dark Souls and wanting a kind of.. "realistic", I guess, experience, I downloaded a mod that multiplies all damage dealt by 2.5. It's actually pretty fucking awesome.
I seem to have broken oblivion somehow with ~50 active mods
sometimes ai doesnt trigger
like if i fast travel to a bandit camp they'll just stand there until i lure a wolf or something to them
anyone know what the problem is/how to fix?
And now, after doing literally nothing, the fucking game crashes after the bethesda splashscreen. Fucking fantastic.
[editline]20th May 2013[/editline]
and the mod causing that was some kind of weapon pack. i don't even know why that should be possible but whatever
So is Morrowind. And Oblivion.
Exploring and dicking around is much more fun, imo.
In terms of main quest I'd say Morrowind's the best.
I've become too reliant on markers and such in big open-world RPGs, I stopped playing Morrowind after an hour or something. I should probably give it another try though, DS taught me some humbleness.
A site made a list of all the known monsters/creatures we know of in ESO

I applaud you. I could barely make it five minutes without getting bored as hell
Oblivion was the best, imo. Very basic stuff, like in all of the games, but you aren't playing as the Messiah.
Both Dragonborn and Nerevarine can kiss my ass. The hero of a random city and the guy who helped the Messiah is much more unique, refreshing and overall better than being some guy (or rather THE GUY) from an ancient prophesy. It's boring.
But Morrowind was a "messiah" story done right
And Morrowind's "messiah" wasn't so much savior of the world, but an icon for the dark elf people and being the one person who had the courage to stand up against Dagoth Ur's blight. As a matter of fact you could argue that the prophecy was total bullshit, and simply because you decided to be the person to do the hard work and do it right that people assumed you were the nerevarine from the prophecy after a certain point. Even then you still had to actively convince the ashlander tribes to be in support of you as they were skeptical.
Meanwhile Skyrim was all "lawl u are dragonborn, worship me" right from the start. It was incredibly shallow and killed any chance of being able to roleplay as a different character.

I still dream of The Elder Scrolls game (or mod) where you are just a normal person, you learn your skills from the very start and after years and years of hard work, you finally become... an OK blacksmith, maybe you cross paths with the "chosen one" or something but are never actually him
i'd kill for that game/mod. a game where you destiny is as fragile as a single strand of silk blowing in the wind, you're not granted the gods blessings at your birth, you must earn it through your skills and dedication
a man can dream.
Went to play Oblivion again, I have to say, I remember characters turning out uglier then this.

that would be ridiculously boring though
that would be ridiculously boring though
it'd vary from person to person, but that's just what i'd want
I don't know anyone who plays TES games for their main quests anyway. I pretty much only know I'm dragonborn in Skyrim because the word filled the internet before Skyrim's release.
Anyway, deleted like a third of my Skyrim mods, mostly the ones BOSS didn't recognize or said had some weird shit in them, the crashes to desktop are getting frequent as fuck.
