For some reason my quests were all fucked due to the alternate start mod I've been using, deactivating it solved most issues I had with the game. I had to restart from scratch though, bummer.

Started off as an Orc in an Orcish Stronghold and was in the entire Orish heavy set which made all the shit so much easier for me at the start... Bought the Dragonborn DLC the other day, still haven't done even the third quest in it. For some reason, every now and again, I'll go in to a building and then come out and my frames will be all fucked until I restart the game... It only happens in Solsteim. I wanna say its on of my mods, but I have like 75 mods, so narrowing it down is difficult.
I also use A new life but somehow when the mod is active a lot of quests become unfinishable. Hadvar/ralof stays near the helgen cave, general tullius is nowhere to be found at castle dour, rikke won't start the imperial legion quest, etc.
A friend of mine started Morag Tong questline in Morrowind yesterday. In the first quest, whenever he was trying to attack Feruren Oran, he found himself gangbanged quickly by surrounding NPC's since he was playing a low level character. Obviously Oran refuses to talk to you once you start the quest, and I couldn't help but laugh when he showed me a different approach. Alright so I've tried removing the mods I installed earlier to see if it'd solve my issue but it didn't. After looking at my actor values between running with weapons sheathed and running with the weapons drawn (105 to 65 respectively) I saw that the actor values update, but after sheathing the weapons it doesn't actually seem to take effect. Additionally, if I do an attack it'll slow me down even further without actually changing the speed multiplier value and sprinting with my weapons drawn doesn't actually increase my speed at all. Have any of you encountered something similar in the past?
What about that skill overhaul someone from this thread is making? Is it done?

Well, the whole adding NPCs to the faction that prevents body cleanup was a bust. I tried setting to both 0 and 1, and confirming it with get faction rank, but no luck. Somebody on a forum said you could make a custom area that would cause permanent corpses but I haven't ever used the creation kit before. Maybe I should give 'er a try

At what era did other groups explore the ancient Dwemer buildings? I ask this because it seems off to me how they could have disappeared in the First Era(?) and, in the age of Skyrim, others still haven't managed to harness nor understand the mechanics of Dwemer technology.

I've gotten through some of the goofy tutorials to the point where I can make a little entrance in skyrim with a map marker and you can go into it to a little room. Now I just need to make it so your followers come in with you and corpses in a room do not disappear
