You can still manually download them.
You can, but it's a colossal pain in the ass to manually install them all.
You can, but it's a colossal pain in the ass to manually install them all.
I don't think it's that bad. Been manually installing since Oblivion.
I guess that's why Mod Organizer has been acting up lately. Oh well.
Manual installer master race
Manual installer master race
I know I can do that, but Its a bunch of stuff, whatever, I am going to manually do it.
I never understood why people manually install mods in Skyrim.
I manually install everything because I'm so used to Source modding where all you have to do is drag and drop. That and I'm too lazy to figure out NMM or Mod Organizer.
I never understood why people manually install mods in Skyrim.
For people like me it's because I'm curious as to what's inside and if I see something I don't like or that conflicts with other mods I can change it to my liking, that and I'm used to it, learning the NMM seems like a hassle when I'm so used to manual installation but to each his own.
fuck all that shit, everything i want/need is on the steam workshop, one click install/uninstall master race reporting in.
I got into morrowind finally! Guess who just stabbed a Bull-Netch with a fork [t]http://i.imgur.com/G2DmzV4.png[/t] This guy!
So what skills did you invest in i always try and get into it but am raped instantly also general good class to play as?
fuck all that shit, everything i want/need is on the steam workshop, one click install/uninstall master race reporting in.
Good luck with that load order.
I'm getting strong urges to play Oblivion again. Someone help.
I could never figure out OMM after getting used to NMM so I never got around to replaying Oblivion. Sucks because I prefer a lot of its content over Skyrims.
I'm getting strong urges to play Oblivion again. Someone help.
Open the game. Get to the character creation screen. That is the best process I have found for getting rid of my urge to play oblivion again.
Good luck with that load order.
it's relatively easy actually. workshop mods show up in the files thingy just like any other mod would when you start up the game. besides, my order is just game dlc dlc patch (repeat for the next two dlc and patches) then whatever the fuck, unless a mod specifically states being earlier load.
Workshop is okay for light modding, but heavy modding needs something more robust.
it's relatively easy actually. workshop mods show up in the files thingy just like any other mod would when you start up the game. besides, my order is just game dlc dlc patch (repeat for the next two dlc and patches) then whatever the fuck, unless a mod specifically states being earlier load.
The way I organize: -game -dlc -dlc patches -unofficial patches -Core gameplay changes (perks, physics changers, etc) -model changes (such as static mesh improvement) -textures I never have ctds. Like load order means just that, what loads first? Scripts and the engine, then its the models and finally the textures load on that. When something is asking to be listed last in the load order, it doesn't necessarily mean it has to be absolute last. It just has to be the last in the load order for whatever it is affecting. So if it was a model replacer that requires it to be loaded last, I would put it last in the section of the load order that has my model changes. The reason they ask you to put it last is so it loads last over everything and overwrites whatever mods there are already running that affect that specific area as well. This means I could still put all my textures under it because they do not actually change the model, just the textures on it.

Optional - Run BOSS

I could never get into Oblivion. The mechanics are a lot like Skyrim's but less polished, so I just go play Skyrim instead. Although I will never forget my Flame Atronach pimp-slapping a Dremora Churl, sending its corpse dramatically falling down the middle of a large tower.

Although I will never forget my Flame Atronach pimp-slapping a Dremora Churl, sending its corpse dramatically falling down the middle of a large tower.
I prefer Oblivion over Skyrim because of the Levelling and Class system, and I guess the quests. It isn't quite as cool as Morrowind's world, but with the modernised combat. When you see that white-gold tower in the distance when you first start, killing things and looting along the way. Levelling up for the first time, earning enough for the waterfront shack and trying to jump between the roofs but failing. You return ages into your save and you've levelled enough that you can literally jump on the building etc. I miss that in Skyrim, and much much more. It must be me, as a lot of people love Skyrim but the progression feels so stagnant and I don't feel like I am specializing in my characters craft, although that is down to my style of gaming as oppose to the design choices. I'm still loving all my Morrowind play-throughs, though, but I still prefer Oblivion.
Are there any mods for Morrowind that let me do a full force swing with just a button press? Holding and releasing the mouse button constantly is uncomfortable.
Are there any mods for Morrowind that let me do a full force swing with just a button press? Holding and releasing the mouse button constantly is uncomfortable.
The "Always Use Best Attack" option.
The "Always Use Best Attack" option.
That only has to do with chop/slash/stab, not how long the attack is held.
I can't use NMM because it always says I don't have SKSE installed even though I do. I like manual install more anyways.
