Does Morrowind have any decent difficulty mods? Even refraining from the more gamebreaking stuff it's not standing up to my min-maxing shitlord ways.
Does Morrowind have any decent difficulty mods? Even refraining from the more gamebreaking stuff it's not standing up to my min-maxing shitlord ways.
I remember an old "overhaul mod" for Morrowind that spawned lighting cliff racers near Gnisis. I burnt my old pc into a crisp, so i can't tell what mod it was.
I prefer Oblivion over Skyrim because of the Levelling and Class system, and I guess the quests. It isn't quite as cool as Morrowind's world, but with the modernised combat. When you see that white-gold tower in the distance when you first start, killing things and looting along the way. Levelling up for the first time, earning enough for the waterfront shack and trying to jump between the roofs but failing. You return ages into your save and you've levelled enough that you can literally jump on the building etc. I miss that in Skyrim, and much much more. It must be me, as a lot of people love Skyrim but the progression feels so stagnant and I don't feel like I am specializing in my characters craft, although that is down to my style of gaming as oppose to the design choices. I'm still loving all my Morrowind play-throughs, though, but I still prefer Oblivion.
I agree but honestly those are the only things Oblivion did better than Skyrim IMO. They are major but even still, what oblivion did in questing/leveling/class system wasn't anything amazing either - Morrowind still did those things better, even if its mechanics are worse than Oblivion's gameplay mechanics.

If Oblivion had Morrowind's class system, combined with Morroblivion or something, it would be perfect! This is why I cannot wait for that Open Morrowind so people can create a better game.
cliffracers
Oh that explains this image
I never understood why people manually install mods in Skyrim.
Because NMM is kind of shit.
Because what's hard about dropping some files into a folder? Like that other guy said, it's almost the same with source skins or mods.. maybe even easier. Yes t'is me again, so I have a lot of spare time these days next to my job and I've been thinking about creating some custom player homes for Skyrim.. Anyone have experience doing such a thing? And how steep do you think the learning curve is for someone who's a basic to intermediate user of Hammer and Cryengine? All these player homes with large dungeons and 50+ mannequins aren't really my thing.

It's basically dragging and dropping parts of interiors to form the house. But first you should go and look at the official Creation Kit Wiki's Tutorials so you get an idea on how it works.
Even after the update every time I try to go on Nexus to continue installing mods something on their end shits itself. It's taken over a week for me to try and get all the mods I need for Skyrim. This is ridiculous. Oh, finally got something. Every page with simply the letter, "E". One step at a time.
It took me 2 days to get to the download page of a fucking treehouse. ~ Thanks for the link, I feel dumb for not googling but since FP is masterrace gamerfolk I thought I'd ask here before diving into the deep-end of the pool. Back to lurking mode, I'll post some shit if I figure this stuff out.
Isn't he essential?
I have bEssentialTakeNoDamage off.
Isn't he essential?
Might be talking about Morrowind?
I have bEssentialTakeNoDamage off.
I remember doing the companions questline with that on. I turned it off and never even looked at it again when I was done.

There doesn't seem to be an official armor because in trailers, posters and other media the dragonborn switches between Hide Armor, Leather Armor, and Studded armor.

But I do know that he wears full iron armor, except the chest piece, with is either replaced with hide, scaled, studded armor. That seems to be standard in terms of armor.

SO GUYS. I've modded my game up with Baseline STEP, now I'm not sure what gameplay mods I want to use. I'm considering Morrowloot (input on this decision, please), but I have no idea what combat mods to use or anything else, either. What do you all recommend?

40 hours of Skyrim in a week. Thats depressing.
Anyone know how much agility Vivec has?
40 hours of Skyrim in a week. Thats depressing.
Well I guess if you're employed full time, that'd be like nothing but skyrim :v:
