Enbs are modular in that you can remove certain effects, and adjust settings accordingly, but all enbs do impact fps in some way. So if you can run Skyrim smoothly, and want a little more out of it, go for it. Even then you can uninstall it if it slows it down too much for your liking.
What ones would you recommend? There's a lot of choices.
Considering doing another playthrough of Skyrim, but want something added to it before i continue. Any of you know some good mods, which albeit wont stray too far from the game itself?
SexLab Immersive Bodies Estrus
I can't imagine the Aedra performing a direct intervention on mortal affairs, such as the infamous Else God-Hater mentioned in Oblivion. Sure Kynareth gave the ancient nords the Voice, and Akatosh the gift of Dragon Blood, but they do not really do things like banish an entire race. That sounds more like something an angry Daedric Prince would do.
The daedra are much weaker in Nirn that the Divines, because they're not really linked to it. They can only really influence shit that's near one of the shrines. The divines can do that stuff anywhere, but are generally weaker.
Has anyone used PsiKotic's Ultimate Necromancy Mod? I've been looking into some more necromancy mods and it seems pretty indepth.
Hey does anyone remember that one mod that let you wear multiple pieces of armor on top of each other? Like you could equip a Dragon Priest mask and then wear a hat on top of it. Does that mod exist anymore? And Jesus, I recall now how annoying the Creation Kit is. I'm trying to mod Nazeem and damn, is it frustrating sometimes...
While perks were handled poorly (a lot of them are just useless or too simple), perks have way more possibility for depth than just a couple of integers representing your ability within certain skill types. The fact that you can now technically have all the perks kinda breaks that but you -would- need to grind forever to do that, so it's not super realistic. I mean realistically a numerical system representing your character's stats is the lowest form of "complexity" a game can take on - to look at a game with actual depth in character customization, take a look at path of exile. The game has "stats" but the progression system is based on perks, some of which give stats and some give game changing effects. This is what a deep customization system looks like, not "i want to put points into this number this level". Especially not "I want to put points into this number this level so I have to make sure I level a relevant skill more often than I walk a certain distance" :v: I would easily say Skyrim has the best system at the moment because it allows for infinitely more complexity than increasing certain stats but I don't think they made good use of it. The ability to get infinite perks should probably be thrown out, and more effort should be put into making perks game changers defining a character rather than generic increases. Still, some good examples of perks that are really cool: -Necromage: the idea of being more effective against undead really adds to the feel of a cleric-esque character and it effects so many spells that it's very useful even outside its tree -Avoid Death: same as above, the idea that occasionally the divines might rescue a champion or such is great for both gameplay and roleplaying if you're into that -Quiet Casting: a big deal for a character trying to be a thief or assassin wielding magic, it makes a lot of spells a whole lot more useful for sneaky playstyles that otherwise would not be -Misdirection: I really like the idea of a thief being able to lift an opponents weapons off them before a battle starts (or without starting a battle at all, just making extra coin). The perfect touch business with taking the clothing they're wearing is a bit over the top though :v: -Eagle Eye/Steady Hand: Vastly improves the feeling of an archer becoming skilled, allowing them to greatly improve their aim There's lots of really useful ones, some way more useful than the ones in the list (at least in combat), but those ones actually have pretty neat affects on gameplay which is what more perks should have been imo
I agree that Skyrim's system had the potential to be really good, but they really failed hardcore. Its one of the reasons that drove me to work on my mod. If the perk trees were deisgned in a way to be expansive, add attribute-like bonuses to the player, and allows players to truely deeply specilize into specific weapgons within a skill (i.e. being able to focus on swords instead of just having one perk for them), and had a system in place to encourage players to specilize into a set of skills (i.e a CLASS) vs everything being open, the system would have been much better. Instead we had a system where the skill didn't really do anything in a lot of cases, where it was more important to get perks like flat damage bonuses vs. leveling the skill, where you couldn't really specilize into a specific skill or skill set, where there were a lot of fluff perks, where there were some trees that had a grand total of 7-9 or so perks in them, etc. They should have easily doubled the perk and made minor perks of sorts and done stuff like having perks be quest rewards to make up for the added perk-ness. The things I could do if I had the time, patience and drive to work with the CK seriously before I just question myself and why I'm not spending my time doing other things.
Wip and fucked up fov but ah well here it goes. Materials are just there to give you lot an idea of what it'll look like. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/X5E1sO.png[/t] Bladus Genericus.
Arena Update: Finished Labyrinthian. Met my first Iron Golem. Those motherfuckers are immune to weapons below Mithril tier, which includes my Dwarven equipment. Of course, even if I did had the right equipment, Iron Golems pack a punch. Either way, the only choice I had was to run. Still, I got that second Staff of Chaos piece. I'm definitely going to keep doing odd jobs for royalty until I get enough money to afford at least the next tier of weapons and armor (which is, funnily enough, Mithril). After that, it's off to Valenwood and the Elden Grove, to find the next Staff Piece. I'm getting really attached to this game, to be honest.
You can kill them before you sacrifice the guy. He'll thank you when you save him.
Ha, did not know that. But even if, when one enchants an item, the soul in the soul gem goes to the Soul Carin, a dark place quite opposite of Azura's blinding Moonshadow. Though it is strange because Azura is the Daedric Prince of Dusk and Dawn, and Moonshadow (according to only one person, which was then retold by his apprentice, plus the guy was only there for a moment) is exclusively bright as fuck.
'Too much beauty,' Zenas gasped when he went to the next realm. 'I am half blind. I see flowers and waterfalls, majestic trees, a city of silver, but it is all a blur. The colors run like water. It's raining now, and the wind smells like perfume. This surely is Moonshadow, where Azura dwells.'
Could there be another realm that is Dark and Gloomy? Such as the Soul Carin? This could a batshit insane theory, but I'm proposing that Azura has 2 planes of oblivion, or 1 very large plane with a large distance between the Soul Carin (Dusk) and Moonshadow (Dawn) is. The later sounds logical, considering that when it's dark on one side of a celestial body, it's bright on the other side. What I'm saying is that Azura may of had influence where the tools, Keening, Sunder, and Wraithguard, were tapping into Heart of Lorkhan considering all items were heavily enchanted.
God damn I can't fucking stand John Bryce's voice (Nord voice from Morrowind). It makes me want to murder small animals.
SexLab Immersive Bodies Estrus
Perfect. For a pervert. Which may or may not be me.
So, I did a little bit of reading regarding the lore behind the sky, stars, planets, etc. Are the stars and planets not actually heavenly bodies like in our world? Is the explanation provided just a mythical explanation (i.e. like how the Greeks believed Apollo drew the sun across the sky) or is that how it actually is?

Daedric princes can more or less claim as many planes as they wish, they simply have one that they choose to reside in, or perhpas are bound too. I'm replacing the default Nord voice in Morrowind with Michael Gough's voice from Skyrim. So far I have all the "attack", "hit", "flee", and "thief" voices done.
SexLab Immersive Bodies Estrus
I can't fucking get SexLab to work. Don't know why. [editline]n[/editline] I'm not joking somebody give me a step-by-step tutorial :(
The perception of space and heavenly bodies in TES has been described as a "stress reaction" mortals have when they look up at the sky; their meaty little brains can't comprehend the concept of infinite universes inside infinite universes with infinite universes leaking into them, and so their mind simplifies it down to a bunch of bubbles and dots floating in the blackness.
To clarify, Mundus, essentially, is "reality" which basically boils down to the solar system, as in the sense that we use it there is no "universe" in The Elder Scrolls, since the stars are not actually stars, and space isn't actually space. Space is Oblivion, by all means of understanding, and the planets other than Nirn are the remnants of the et'Ada who created Mundus and either died (Masser and Secunda are believed to be Lorkhan's remains) or gave up most of their power in the process (the eight Divines, the eight other planets in Mundus) and then as said, the Sun is the hole that Magnus created after leaving for Aetherius in disgust of what they had created, and the other stars are the et'Ada who followed him, the remaining stayed behind on Nirn and either wasted away or became the Ehlnofey who eventually became Men and Mer as we know them. Space and the stars are simply how the minds of the living things on Nirn interpret this incomprehensible concept.
So the only thing differentiating the divines from the other et'ada is that the divines took an active part in creation?
So the only thing differentiating the divines from the other et'ada is that the divines took an active part in creation?
There are other et'Ada who actively took part in creating mundus, it's just that the eight Divines each gave a part of themselves to form Mundus itself and then could no longer leave. So they became the other planets, or live on the other planets, which represent them, or are their little Aetherius reality bubbles, or something. That part really isn't explained, but since Masser and Secunda are supposed to be Lokhan's corpse, I guess that would mean that the other planets are supposed to literally be the eight Divines. [editline]banans[/editline] This whole part is the least descriptive of the whole theory, because it bounces around a bit. Masser and Secunda are said to be Lorkhan's body in some cases, and in some other cases Nirn is supposed to be Lorkhan's body and that explains why Trinimac couldn't destroy his heart when he killed him, but otherwise that's the gist of it.
The whole "moons = Lorkhan's body" thing perplexes me because it looks very much like the small one is orbiting the larger one, which is orbiting Nirn. So, what would happen if someone were to build a rocket and try flying upward?
Hmm, I have all the combat dialogue replaced but I can't hear any of it when I'm fighting a Nord. [editline]fad[/editline] Hey, can someone COC to Ulummusa and test this out for me? Also probably back up your male Nord voice folder if you don't hate Bryce's voice as much as me. :v: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/52116717/NordVoice.zip
Damnit, I can't absord Mirmulnir's soul after killing him during dragon rising. His ragdoll just sits there and doesn't burn up. [editline]17th December 2013[/editline] I looked at UESP and the problem seems to be something relating to the Unofficial Skyrim Patch or Dragonborn. There was something about disabling one of the two and fixing the load order. I'll look into those to see if I can't solve this.
The planets are the gods and the planes of the gods, which is the same thing. That they appear as spherical heavenly bodies is a visual phenomena caused by mortal mental stress. Since each plane(t) is an infinite mass of infinite size, as yet surrounded by the Void of Oblivion, the mortal eye registers them as bubbles within a space. Planets are magical and impossible. The eight planets correspond to the Eight Divines. They are all present on the Dwarven Orrery, along with the mortal planet, Nirn.
So are we done comparing sex mods yet? Enderal seems to be coming along nicely.
