The official installers for arena and daggerfall work great, though I had to tweak daggerfall's dosbox settings to make it run decently in fullscreen.
I can't do that with my games. I had .exe installers from the DOSbox wiki that installed both games without having to actually do it through DOSbox, and also made it so that I can just run them without having to open DOSbox first (it still runs under DOSbox, kinda like how the steam release for Star Wars: Dark Forces handled it) but as a consequence any time I try to change the options for DOSbox (like screen resolution), those changes don't apply when I run Arena or Daggerfall. I don't know how to fix this.

They probably have their own .ini files, I have separate inis for daggerfall and arena than I do for default dosbox.
Are cliffracers really that much of a problem? I've never played Morrowind before so I wouldn't know.
Holy shit The Silver Hand really fucks your shit at lower levels. I'm wearing Yngol's armor, which I've edited to have the same armor values as Improved Bonemold and my shit is getting fucked hardcore.
I also have the difficulty set to novice too.

They really, truly are

Cliffracers attack you from anywhere at any angle, make obnoxious noises even when not attacking you and ambush you at the worst moments.
Since the base game drains your stamina even by running (not sprinting, just runnin) you will usually find yourself getting ambushed by 3 rabid cliffracers that you can't even touch because 0 stamina means 0% chance to hit early on in the game.
It's like if in Skyrim you had four dragons constantly hovering over your head and waiting for you to have no stamina and no health to kick your shit in.
They're more annoying than anything.
Man, fire and ice overhaul is fucking fun, playing an unleveled skyrim and am doing the companions quest when I got to the dungeon that Skjor dies in.
The boss of that dungeon, Krav the Skinner, is actually now a boss and the battle consisted of me weaving and ducking a huge flaming dwarven axe he had while half of the room was on fire from me blasting fire spells at his minions.
He came in for a bad ass jumping overhead, and I shield bashed the two hander axe from his hands, which was good because it knocked me over everytime I tried to block it and took half of my fucking health. So after dodging and weaving that fucking monstrosity, I finally knocked it away and the mother fucker pulls out a perfect tier silver sword and a dwarven shield. I had a perfect tier silver sword as well from a previous dungeon and a small steel shield and we dueled it out in this cramped hallway that was on fire, got to say it was pretty intense because any slight fuck up in timing/positioning meant I would die either from fire or blade.
Had a few close calls that required me to create makeshift ice barriers that he would start breaking through with his sword while I used restoration to heal myself. He was pretty fucking terrifying.
The loot was worth it though, got that nice battle axe with the enchantment on it, another set of steel plate armor, a steel plate helmet to replace my standard steel helm, an extra pair of stahlrim boots and the dwarven shield.
No it's more like if in Skyrim wolves could fly but descended at the rate of cold poop
At least wolves in skyrim are easy to kill, and attack you head-on
If anything they are like a flying version of the squeaky little shitstains that are rats in Oblivion.
Rats in oblivion were the fucking worst.
I installed some boob mods because I wanted to see how ridiculous it would be, but I couldnt get them to work for whatever reason and I think I uninstalled them the wrong way because whenever I remove the body armor from a woman they dont have a bra on and their boobs do a 90 degree angle and form pancakes that connect with her face
Cold poop

I just finished that fight as well. Except I decided to go werewolf on her.
The battle consisted of me killing her two lackies and then bringing her down to half health and letting Aela deal with her while I hid behind the entrance door. Eventually, Aela was downed and I was next. So I did the only thing I know.
I ran.
I ran backwards through the keep looking for bodies to feed on until my health was high enough to kill her.
Godamn, either it's just me or being a werewolf is fucking worthless. Your attacks do piss poor damage and you control worse than you would after a night of drinking with Sam Guevenne.
If you're low level then no shit your werewolf form is gonna deal jack shit, and no shit the silver hand is raping your sorry ass, silver weapons are designed to give anything that's not prepared a one-hit death.
You should avoid the whole companion questline as long as you're not level 10 at least.

Eh I got Aela stuck into the geometry at the start of the dungeon because I hate followers.
My werewolf does good damage, but he doesn't have a lot of health so fighting Krav with a flaming two hander that one hits wasn't a good idea so I stayed human form and got to enjoy all the different mods I have working together.
I don't know, personally I hate finding pieces of geometry to hide behind unless it is part of the actual gameplay (i.e. he got a good hit on me that almost killed me, so I power based him backwards, switched to healing and frost, proceeded to freeze the doorway while healing myself, by the time he broke through I was full health again and we continued our duel. Motherfucker used so many potions).
That's the point of ice form, shout at a motherfucker and heal yourself while he's down on the ground freezing.

I know that is the point...?
That is why I used it that way lol, I was saying I hate when people jump up on tables/rocks stuff like that and abuse the ai because they don't know how to climb. Or hide behind followers.
Idk it just removes all sense of accomplishment from the game for me, because I didn't beat them with my skill. So I either fight within the means of the game, or I run away.
well i am finally going to reinstall skyrim
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=204369297&searchtext=evil+mansion
and once i plow through this house, uninstall it, unless i feel like finally completing quests.
I just pick Breton and use SPERG to get awakened racial abilities so I have a native 50% magic resist and awakened dragonskin that essentially makes me immune to magic entirely for a minute activable every 6 hours, then rush azura's quest and the Gauldur quest so I get the stupidly good amulet + the blackstar and disenchant the gauldur weapons so I can enchant two swords to absorb health and stamina constantly, using the black star to refill the weapons on the fly.
If I was a bit less lazy I could even just go to the lord stone and pick up the blessing, then do the book of love quest to get mara's blessing and have a constant 85% magic resist buff.
Completely unrelated but I just noticed that Khajiits used to just be humans with cat eyes and argonians used to just be humans with scaled skin. Damn bethesda, you lazy shits.
What's better, Dawnguard or Dragonborn DLC
Looking to hopefully pick one up during the sale

Dragonborn

Rats in in oblivion are fucking easy unless you're like level -5

Get acrobatics 100 and diagonal bunnyhop everywhere. Unless you're going up an incline you'll have full stamina and it's faster than running normally.
Hearthfire
I'll slap you

I just finished up the dragonborn dlc. It's really quite good if you're into tentacles.
Also, much more expansive than dawnguard. I felt like much more of a badass than I did in dawnguard simply due to the new shouts available. It felt like going super sayan. Plus, the whole thing feels like a bad acid trip. I liked that.
I'll slap you
Dragonborn is much more in-depth, where Dawnguard lasts a bit longer in the main game. You can get a new follower, a pretty neat new weapon type, and the Dawnguard armour, in my opinion, looks pretty nice.
Or, you can feel like a complete and total badass playing Dragonborn. Plus Miraak is pretty awesome, he even tells you in his fight that both of you are idiots for fighting because Hermaeus Mora cares for neither of you.
I'd recommend Dragonborn, personally, had more fun with the "new" environments.
Rats in in oblivion are fucking easy unless you're like level -5
They are however annoying as fuck.
The squeaking and constant jumping and screen blurring is the WORST.

I think Moonlight Tales buffs Werewolves. And it makes Werewolves in general pretty badass, so everyone who intends to be a were- should play with it. (It also adds hostile Werewolves and Werebears as encounters, Silver Hand as random encounters if you are one, and also allows you to be a Werebear. What's not to like?)
Why has no one made a proper daedric language yet?!
It must be done.

How do you mean? I'm fairly sure people have. I had a font file on my old computer of the Daedric alphabet.
