How do you mean? I'm fairly sure people have. I had a font file on my old computer of the Daedric alphabet.
I know about the alphabet, but I mean a proper language. Sadly letters do not a language make.

Ah, well, for that you'd need the Beth writers to invest Tolkien-esque levels of attention to their writing. Which is not going to happen.

Not necessarily, there's a shitton of people that really love the TES universe, they could do it.
Of course it's a big step away from an official language, but it's something.

um
dragonspeak
Just make the next TES game involve the Daedra as much as this one involved dragons
that was oblivion. It revolved around the Daedra.

And the emperor's son being a [sp]kill-stealing bastard[/sp].
The truly annoying thing about cliff racers is that Morrowind's version of world-leveling was basically:
@NumCliffracersOnScreen = 2^@PlayerLevel
You level up, there's twice as many cliff racers everywhere.

Dragonspeak doesn't exist as a cohesive language though, they've got fragmentary parts of it (Theme song, conversations between dragons/greybeards, and the shouts), but nothing like the lexicon that Tolkien put together for his elvish.
Did a morrowind(ISH) orcish armor thing

Goddamn mongorrians
Based more on Japanese armor actually which is what morrowind was definitely going off of for the design
The skyrim one is mongolian
I would imagine an Akaviri soldier wearing that too.
That is, if they are humanoid, cause the lore goes back and forth between that and serpent people.
Considering TES games are moving more and more towards making everything human looking I'd assume they'll be humanoid should they ever appear.
Is there any way to make the battle music in Morrowind not play for stuff like rats and slaughterfish? It gets a bit annoying.
Ah the epic high speed mudcrab chases of morrowind and oblivion
Think the only solution is to quickly find and slaughter the pissant creature that's been stalking you, or just bolt away really fast if you can
They are however annoying as fuck.
The squeaking and constant jumping and screen blurring is the WORST.
The squeaking is a fucking plus because you know when it's going to jump. That would be the time to block.

I love the howling and wailing of the battle music in skyrim. You're under attack! Where! SHIT A MUDCRAB!

It looks like a Samurai fucked an Immortal and this came out.

Unfortunately I can't make an ambiguous 256x256 texture that is made out of a mystery material. As awesome as morrowinds armor is, it's basically impossible to tell what exactly the armor is made of and how it's put together.

Yeah, I'm aware. I played that game to Oblivion.
Doesn't mean they can have some douche trying to open another gate or something as the storyline.

When playing an archery or mage character it sure as fuck doesn't help.

Can't you block with you bow or your staff? The stun the rat receives is enough to draw your bow and fire it or cast a destruction spell.

Casting spells early on takes a while because of the animation and firing a bow takes equally as long, which is usually longer than a block-stagger gives you.
Bows are general trash in oblivion, just seeing every enemy you fight running around with like 50 arrows in their face gets old pretty quickly

Are we playing the same game

I miss when this was the Orcish style :c
Yeah I'm glad he took the morrowind direction.
Is Oblivion worth getting? I have good memories of it, but I haven't played it in years, and memories are shitty reasons to buy things. Does it hold up well? I don't care that much about graphics because I'm sure there are plenty of texture and model overhauls by now.
Oblivion looks like utter shit now and the base game is an unbalanced mess. Considering its age there has been a ton of good mods for it though so you could totally get it again and install a bunch of mods to make the thing more playable.
For $10 goty it's worth it.
Might buy it, but hold off playing it and wait until the next version of OCO is out.
As superficial as it is, it will honestly make the game a lot more enjoyable. Oblivions default faces are nothing short of being personally offensive

I can't be bothered about balanced because I kinda want to get one of those "realistic" (Everything kills you in one hit) mods, though I guess there's more to it than health and damage
