I love how I can still wander across Skyrim and come across another dungeon I haven't done. Just two days ago I discovered that the Dragonborn DLC plopped an entire Dwemer dungeon quest into Skyrim, and I hadn't discovered it until months later. And I got a sick ass shield out of it.
Then you'll be ecstatic to know there are more aether items out there such as the crown.

So how exactly does Tamriel Rebuilt's landmass work? Does it just cut off into water when you reach the unfinished areas or is there just empty land in those areas?
Isn't that Dawnguard that added that questline?
Oh...yeah it seems it is. That means I went on without knowing it existed for even longer. Makes me wonder what else I might not have discovered in my game...
Holy fuck being a necromancer is going to require a very large magicka pool. Just summoning 3 basic skeleton warriors drains my 150 magicka down to 63 for the skeleton's upkeep costs. I'm not even going to mention the whole separate branch of the conjuration skill tree just for necromancy. Seriously its fucking massive. It's going to be hard to manage my One-Handed, Heavy Armor, Archery, Smithing, Enchanting, Destruction and Conjuration perks with all the perk points really needed in Conjuration. off topic character picture to draw your eyes away from my little rant [T]http://i.imgur.com/cowDq3e.jpg[/T]
Oh...yeah it seems it is. That means I went on without knowing it existed for even longer. Makes me wonder what else I might not have discovered in my game...
did you discover the secret Isran sex scene yet
Well I finally did it.... I bought hearthfire. I never thought I'd stoop to this level, what has become of me
Hearthfire is cheap and adds at least like 2 neat little things so there isn't much reason not to buy it in my opinion. Especially if it's on sale. Also, somebody give me some random ass thing to research in the lore.
I don't know what you guys are going on about but I played atleast 100 hours of oblivion and bought every single piece of DLC I remember I bought it knowing diddly-squat about the game and suddenly I was playing in this huge fantasy world where I could run around do whatever I wanted
The trick to enjoying any bethesda game is to go into with zero preconceptions about what the game is going to be like. It worked for me with FO3, Oblivion and Skyrim.
So I'm reinstalling Skyrim again (sort of, just putting my backed up folder in to steam) and putting some more mods onto it, what's the max amount of mods until it fucks up? I remember Fallout NV had a hardcoded max amount of 150 or 250 and after that it started messing up textures and everything.
Well looking at mine i'd say seven. i think the limit is 255. or there abouts
Thanks. Steam is pissing me off, I put the Skyrim folder into steam and it said "discovering existing files" whne installing but it still tries to download 10gb. god fucking damn it.

But if you think the key to enjoyment is to have no preconceptions, then you wouldn't expect to enjoy the game in the first place and probably never even play it.

That should be obvious.

And consequently not expecting that to be the case, only to get really pissed when it was cut. I expected a game that I'd be able to sit down and play for a good few hours and have some fun with, and nothing else. That's exactly what I got, too. I just don't understand why people let themselves get super hyped about games. Even if it's fucking incredible, it won't be as good as you were expecting it to be; you can only be disappointed. Why do that to yourself?
Did you discover the secret Isran sex scene yet?
Who is Isran? Please don't tell me it's a wolf!
Who is Isran? Please don't tell me it's a wolf!
He is the leader of the dawnguard
So is the nexus down for anyone else? And why is ENB never fucking loading? I put all the files there and it should work, works fine on New Vegas.
aw yiss
Is it still a buggy piece of crap? I tried it out like half a year ago and it was frankly terrible.
Is it still a buggy piece of crap? I tried it out like half a year ago and it was frankly terrible.
I think that's a different mod? Here's the Nexus link if you want to test it out or look at or whatever http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49036/?
Wasn't there another one called Joy of Perspective or something with all the screenshots just looking at the player's tits? [editline]adsf[/editline] Think I might start Morrowind over and do a straight-up Mage playthrough. I never really bothered with magic before.
Think I might start Morrowind over and do a straight-up Mage playthrough. I really wish that the nexus would upgrade their servers from apple 2s on dial up. I haven't been able to access the skyrim nexus for 3 days, getting a bit silly :v:

I spent two hours yesterday downloading a 500 meg mod because the servers were chugging along at the speed of smell. 84 kb/s is not cool when I can usually hit nearly 300.

Would this work in Oblivion if you're planning to use magic only or would I have to spend an hour hoarding ingredients after each Oblivion Gate dive
