I am judging you
I am judging you
I'll judge you right back, buster. I know what you did last sunday.
Is this something along the lines of what your looking for?
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=107932430&searchtext=Nazeem
Why yes, that is the mouth gag I'm looking for. Except I don't want to download a completed Nazeem humiliation mod, I want to make one. My torture of that bastard is also a learning experience in the Creation Kit.
So far, I've managed to change his default apparel to that of a pair of torn pants and nothing else. I've also been trying to set him as a follower so I can use him as a pack mule, and after that's done I'm going to add angry, annoyed, and hopeless voice lines to him, all muffled to match the mouth gag I put on him. Of course, I can't seem to set him as a follower though with the Creation Kit because I'm probably going about it the wrong way. Yes...I know I can use the console, but that's no fun.
So I just purchased Skyrim legendary edition for PC because I've only ever played it on console (that goes for all of my elder scrolls experiences, including morrowind goty and oblivion goty, with an exception to daggerfall and tes:o)
I really need Skyrim mods that just add depth to gameplay while kind of running "behind the scenes" per se. Just mods that balance the game, fix glaring gameplay problems, and overall make the experience more fun without adding anything that doesn't fit alongside the base game. The equivalent of Project Nevada for FNV, or other such things. New quest lines and such are perfectly fine, and appreciated, though I'd rather "tune up" the game.
www.skyrimgems.com has a pretty comprehensive list of excellent mods. I haven't downloaded many, but I did go for the "Interesting NPCs" and "Inconsequential NPCs", which add random interesting people to talk to and loads of NPCs to fill out the empty-feeling cities, respectively. There was also one called "Advanced higher-level gameplay" which does some things I forget but mainly changes enemy leveling so that they don't stop at level 30 while you keep on going; they level with you and I've found it makes the game just tough enough to still be enjoyable.

the item you're looking for is called "ulfric's Gag" and it's itemcode (at least in my console) is 000F9670.

Is there any way to change the existing Nazeem file in the Creation Kit so that he wears it? Reason I'm so hell-bent on doing this all in the CK is because I'm going to throw it up on the Nexus. Might as well share it if I'm putting work into it.

you could always edit his clothing to have a magical effect that applies the good ol' equipitem ___ command. replace the dashes with the itemcode for the gag, and it should equip. I don't work often in the creator kit, so you might have to do some digging to find out how to force equip items to people.
Here is my list so far; my goal is difficulty without bullet sponges, and without making the game too hard to enjoy. I really want second opinions from those who have used these mods in regards to conflicts, balance, and amount of content added:
Either:
Duel Combat Realism v7 (though I am debating this or v5)
or
Ultimate Combat (though I'm again, not so sure about this)
I'm leading more towards Duel Combat Realism to be honest.
Locational Damage (I know it's suicide with DCR or UC, but I don't know exactly how suicidal)
SPERG
ERSO (maybe; the whole modular deal is making me worried about which I should and shouldn't add to my game)
Apocalypse Spell Package (again, no idea how overpowered it is)
Balanced Magic
Stealth Skills Rebalanced
Sneak Tools (while nifty, I'm not sure how balanced it is, but I don't know if that is good if DCO and LD are installed)
Thunderchild - Epic Shout Package
Moonlight Tales
Royal Bloodline
Bloodmoon Rising
SkyUI
OBIS - Organized Bandits in Skyrim
Immersive Patrols
Interesting NPCs and Inconsequential NPCs
Cutting Room Floor
Skyrim Immersive Creatures (set up to not be lorebreaking, but I'm still wondering about this one)
the three Populated X mods (no idea if I could handle this actually)
Inigo
Extensible Follower Framework
Brhruce Hammar
FSS - No Pause Between Lines
Better Animal Footsteps
Clanking Amrmour
Guard Dialogue Overhaul
Improved Combat Sounds
Wet and Cold
Frostfall - Hypothermia Camping Survival
Realistic Needs and Diseases (for those of you who know me; practice what I preach eh? Still worried about this one though)
Run For Your Lives & When Vampires Attack
Radiance
Camping Kit of the Northern Ranger
Touring Carriages
Your Market Stall (maybe)
Hunterborn
Oblivion Gate Cities
More Village Animals
Point the Way
Alternate Start - Live Another Life
Wearable Lanterns
Even Better Quest Objectives
Immersive Animations
Animated Clutter
Bookshelves Script (SKSE)
Warburg's 3D Paper World Map
Shooting Stars
Thirteen Orange's shit
Aethernaturics, Blackreach Railroad and Lost Wonders of Mzark
Wyrmstooth
The Shadow of Meresis
Moonpath to Elsweyr
Undeath (worried about the spells conflicting)
Luftahraan = Heimfeigr
Expanded Towns and Cities or Immersive Settlements
Lore Weapons Expansion, Unique Uniques, and Bonemold Expanded
SMIM
Winter Is Coming
Cloaks of Skyrim
Bandolier (though I worry it adds too much in terms of carry weight)
Sabre Gear Backpack
The Eagle Nest
Leaf Rest
That's about it I think. A little lengthy, I know, but these are just the considerations. I was hoping more experienced players of modded Skyrim could tell me any glaring problems and answer some of the issues.

I also realize there are very few mods listed that add any armor or weapons, as well as followers and houses, though this is mostly because I am really not informed as to which are best
if you're looking for balance, bhruce isn't exactly the epitome, all things considered. His quests and everything else about him is fucking hilarious and I enjoyed every second.
The "Populated Forts/Towers/Places" mod (among others in the series) makes forts way harder, just for the sheer number of enemies it adds. 5 necromancers blasting ice and shit at you might be tough, but ten of them and like 20 of their skeleton/corpse minions is ridiculous.
Same goes for the bandits. I was sitting outside Ft. Hraggstad and I picked off two people on the walls before they started sending a hunting party out to find me. They lose their suspicion just as they reach me, and the very second I let out a sigh of relief, they see my horse.
Now, me being tired of my stupid horse running into every goddamn battle and getting itself killed, I set its confidence AV to 0 so that it would run away from fights. The bandits go full aggro on the horse and it runs away with a trail of like 5 guys behind it, and before I can start picking them off from behind, their archer pals that had been trailing them suddenly noticed me, and called the whole fucking fort down onto my ass.
Fuuuuuuuuck.
What about Duel vs Ultimate Combat? Which version of Duel plays more enjoyably for someone who likes a challenge, but wants fights to not be too short or too lengthy or unrealistic?
Same with working the two with Locational Damage?

bhruce was a guilty pleasure choice actually; i heard it was hilarious, so i knew i had to for the quests' sake
[editline]24th December 2013[/editline]
Are there any real conflicts? I used tesgeneral's list so it shouldn't bork, but I didn't want any of the magic too be too op or weak, and so on and so forth with the other mods.
[editline]24th December 2013[/editline]
Another thing was any little mods that altered things to make them slightly more tough or realistic that I may have missed, like mods that alter potion weight or something. (Though not that specifically)
Got a new monitor, now to lower my performance even more with ENB + 2560x1440 resolution.

I'm not! :v:
Go ahead! I'll just be back here and play my fiddle.

Reminds me of that playthrough maverick did where he enslaved women, locked them in his basement, raped them with tentacles and gave them back their husbands as soul gems.
For the guy who wanted Oblivion stuff I consider FCOM: Convergence to be fantastic. Changes EEEEVERYTHING.

Takes a hell of a lot of time and effort to set up and install but man is it worth it.
So I bought the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLCs.
I'm pretty torn with Dawnguard right now though.
Can someone gimme the Pro's and Con's of both factions (Vampires/Dawnguard) without spoiling too much?
Your choice doesn't matter story-wise, as far as I've heard.

Dawnguard gives you crossbows and their upgrades, Vampires give you vampire lord form. The main quest is pretty much the same either way.

I have the Werewolf ability though and I heard you lose that if you become a vampire.
Can you regain Werewolf again? (and Vampire again?)
Love how the Skywind devs aren't just using retextured models from Morrowind like they did before for the various creatures.

I kept both but I have a heavily modded game with several merged esps. For convenience, not for the mod limit. Personally, though, if you already have werewolf, vampire lord isn't *that* much different unless you enjoy being a regular vampire. Also Harkon is kind of a dick.
I decided against ERSO because a good deal of my mods do what it does in some aspects, and I don't feel like downloading it alongside all the others just to spend 2 hours configuring it to be balanced with the rest of the lot.
How is Civil War Overhaul?
[editline]24th December 2013[/editline]
and is ERSO worth it?
[editline]24th December 2013[/editline]
Same question in regards to DCO.

Whoever is making these models is doing a fucking awesome job!

You can only regain the werewolf ability one time after curing it. The number of times you can regain the vampire lord ability depends on the choices you make in the Dawnguard dlc. I made this a while back to get around it, but there's a glitch where you get an extra point towards werewolf perks for each heart you eat when you revisit the area again. I've tried fixing it, but since Bethesda still hasn't integrated the dlc with the creation kit, it's a pain in the ass to track down what causes it.
Guess how many frames I was getting
[t]http://i.cubeupload.com/2LHM79.png[/t]
20-30fps
20-30fps
That's the framerate I normally get in this game in general.
60fps
Pi?
