Is it an acknowledged thing that Miraak's mask looks like a vagina? No I'm not going to post comparision pics

The parallel imagery of tentacles and vaginas amuses me immensely.
It's hard to imagine that they made it look like a vagina by accident

Maybe it's a subtle estrus reference
I find them a lot more appealing than their original look

If you don't mind a break from tradition you could always download some alternate ~kawaii~ mod

[del]I have that mod, or at least a mod similar to it.[/del]It wasn't. It was this one.
Well, soon that "have" will become a "did".
It was pretty unsettling in the inventory screen with my character creation skills sucking then, so it didn't look too far off from the default.
THAT WAS MY LINE
The anti-potato mod is beautiful.

Also, Jack Daniels looks a lot better:

The squary trees are haunting my characters.

I don't remember if I posted this or not, but I would love to see an Elder Scrolls game or mod that makes it look like something by Pixar.
Bah got a nice new little effect going with my mod that makes the combat feel so much richer
Blocking now removes stamina instead of health, so if you block a hit that removes your stamina past zero the hit knocks you into a stagger and causes a stab-like effect to quickly flash on the screen.
Meanwhile lower your stamina gets the more your screen gets desaturated, if you get to zero stamina you get a brief flash of double vision if you try and do anything while at zero.
The combined effect is shit gets CRAZY if you are in the thick of combat and you keep exhausting yourself, with staggers and other fancy (but not completely overdone) screen effects that really help make it feel more tactile.
It sounds really stupid in writing but I think it works and looks pretty good in motion. I'll have to do a video once I'm done tweaking it.
Mostly had to put something in there to give some kind of signal that the player was out of or low on stamina without shoving messages down your throat since my mod is very sensative to it and changes how stamina works drastically. So I opted for doing the saturation and other screen effects that indicate stamina levels without having to look at the bar all the time.
have you considered (in modding in general, not for this mod in particular) a style of block where stamina regenerates very quickly and immediately but takes a great loss from every hit? i.e. instead of hits taking small chips at your bar and you unable to regen anything until you can rest for a moment, hits take a good chunk of stamina away, but it's actively refilling until the next strike? in essence it would be very similar to demon's/dark souls.
as it is now, you can tank your stamina for a long time and wait for, well, any time you please to counter attack. really the only worry with stamina is running out after chaining power attacks fifteen times. it'd be much more engaging to have to manage stamina in multiple periods with smaller timescales, instead of one long engagement where you can either have enough, or you have to pause time to chug a potion and continue.
Saw that Morrowind face overhaul a few pages back. Blech, another photoshopped face replacer?
This is the one people should be looking forward to, consider it's an actual face overhaul

I'm going all-out with OBGE 3.1. Hopefully my PC doesn't catch fire after all the visual mods are loaded.
Anybody know if The Infernal City is a good read?
Hahaha, I fucked up so bad. All meshes for the imperial city appear to be inverted. No idea where I fucked up, so it's safer to re-install everything :v:
Anybody know if The Infernal City is a good read?
I heard it is pretty eh
dear god I'm playing Daggerfall right now and the sounds skeleton warriors make are some of the most ear shatteringly terrifying things I've ever heard in a game

This is pretty much exactly what im doing. its not as quick as dark souls though, because in skyrim stam regenerates at a certain amount per percentage of your stamina level rather than your stmina pool (so it always takes 10 sec or so to fully go up on stamina). I make up for it slightly though by simply making actions always taking up a lot of stamina unless you have a high skill or high stamina pool (both are ideal)

I read the first act of the first book.
I couldn't get into it because the Author's pacing is a little off.
Everything happens really fast, and it's hard to keep track of it.
I had to read one of the chapters 3 or 4 times to fully understand everything that happened.

This is sounding impressive. Can't wait to try it.
For some reason, I can never get the DoF shaders right. The only time I notice a blur is when I'm staring into the sky, and only then will the LOD land be blurred, but nothing else.
dear god I'm playing Daggerfall right now and the sounds skeleton warriors make are some of the most ear shatteringly terrifying things I've ever heard in a game
Wait until you get to Liches.
I can never get OBGE to work the way I want it to.
I have Physics corrected sky + PCE Lightshafts, HDAO, and SMAA. None of the DoF shaders will work properly. It's either an entire-screen blur, or it will only blur the LOD, or nothing at all.
How would you like it to work? What you trying to do with it?
[editline]26th May 2013[/editline]
OBGE is probably the most arcane mods for Oblivion, but it's also one of the most needed IMO
I just can't tweak anything since the tweaker thing disappeared from my inventory right after I used it.
Anyone know why horses would be transparent? I don't have any horse mods installed or anything.
Playing Oblivion again is gonna take a while to get used to.

enb maybe?
enb maybe?
Nope.
Speaking of enb, are there any user configs for oblivion that aren't shite?
Speaking of enb, are there any user configs for oblivion that aren't shite?
Nope
I would make one, but it crashes my drivers for some reason.
Turns out curiosity does not kill the cat, but it leads to talking to Sheogorath and being told to [sp]fuck up a small friendly village of Khajiit to make them think they are going to all die.[/sp]
