that's a borderline oxymoron
I liked grinding in some games, like Disgaea.
Well shit, I never noticed it before but when people die in skyrim, they get a coffin in the halls of the dead. Guess TODD didn't lie about that one
I just finished stealing all the valuables out of Nazeems urn
Well, you don't have to grind in Morrowind, if you minmax hard enough you can avoid spending a single second purposely leveling.
Min-maxing defeats the point of roleplaying.
he's in that great cloud district in the sky now :'(

Nazeem is so annoying he's going to get killed in the afterlife too
I genuinely have no idea why Nazeem has this cult of hatred around him. I've probably heard that Cloud District line three or four times in my entire time playing Skyrim.
Are you people following him around or some shit?

brb coc'ing to Sovngarde to kill him

He wouldn't be in sovngarde, sovngarde is for Nord warriors.

And thank Talos for that, eh? :v:
Sometimes I use the Creation Kit to make mods, but most of the time I use it to take out my frustrations on Nazeem.

Do you not spend much time in Whiterun? I hear it at least twice every time I go there. If I see him I start sprinting.
but it's literally impossible to be terrible at morrowind, any lack of skill can be compensated for with grinding
I've never grinded in morrowind. At it's core it's a number rpg and they could've easily made the combat system something like a traditional rpg or a pen and paper game or such because essentially you are just banging numbers against eachother.
The action game like features slapped on top of the very traditional combat system confuse alot of modern players, because they expect the more action game direction added in Oblivion and Skyrim instead of classic dice rolling. In truth the real time combat is just there to make the number clash more engaging to the player, not to actually change the gameplay.
My tips for Morrowind are that you shouldn't really care much about reserving stamina, you can just run everywhere and use a stamina potion or wait for an hour before entering a fight. Cheap booze also gives you very useful buffs in Morrowind making fighting things easier. To avoid grinding all you have to do is not grind and make use of skill trainers and just play the game, you will still be able to beat the game without minmaxing.
edit: I think many people don't understand Morrowind and some people are bad at explaining it.
edit2: also morrowind is way more for massive nerds than oblivion or skyrim.

I don't think I spend any more or less time there than anyone else.
Given that I walk through the city, you'd expect that I'd hear it loads because I'm spending more time there per visit than most, but I can't remember the last time I heard it. It's the same with that arrow to the knee thing. I've heard it once, just after the game came out, and I thought it was a nice little touch; it made the world feel a little bit realer.

There must be something wrong (or perhaps very very right) with your installation. I hear both of those all the time, and I'm not alone. I definitely hear the Cloud District line a lot more than the arrow bit, but I still hear that one frequently as well. Actually, I hear the sweet roll line from the guards more than the arrow bit. I installed Better Guard Dialog recently, though, and that helps.
Took me long enough but holy shit it's rewarding.

New outfit yo.
(75% magica regeneration)
Also enchanted the Regents Longsword (mod) to have a soultrapping function which I learned from some shitty hunting bow.
So basicly, I crossed a Bosmer with a Dunmer with a Witcher?
I don't even know anymore.
~
And OH GOD this DB assignment made me really sad:

I wouldn't doubt it. I pretty much never crash too.
Maybe Tod just likes me, and shelters me from all the bad parts of TES games so that I will continue to buy them.

fixd
Is Civil War Overhaul any good? Premise sounds interesting, but the nexus description looks like it was written by some pretentious prick trying too hard to be cool and edgy.

Damned random encounters. My newest character is the shady type. He'd have joined the Dark Brotherhood if/when the opportunity came up. But they sent an assassin to try to kill him, and now they must die. I had planned on this character being a DB assassin once I got around to starting that quest. Now I'll have to invent some excuse for him to go against character and not wipe out a group that has proven to be a threat.

Or just spawn a bunch and use dance of death and set decapitation to 100 percent
Or you could be like that one guy who soul trapped him and threw him into the Sea of Ghosts

Guess what? The guy who made this

Its good
The mod author might be someone with the embarassing mind of a 12 year old 4chan worshipper but he does good stuff

While this is largely true, there are still elements of player skill to morrowind, albiet they can be hampered by hit/misses.
You can still sidestep and backsteps peoples swings, and if you have a high athletics ability you can really do a lot of footwork to dodge most of your enemies attacks.
Also, since morrowind has knockdown mechanics and the like, timing heavy weapon swings properly becomes important since you can stunlock your opponent if you do a good job with your swings. Just mashing mouse 1 wont get you anywhere *unless you're using a dagger) you need to make us of attack charging.
Morrowinds weapons also have unique damage qualities, to the point that weapons within the short sword tree will all have their own unique damage characteristics, and the armor system is quite well done, even the most meager amounts of armor are worthwhile wearing whereas in skyrim and oblivion bad armor just winds up weighting you down.
So even though at its core the combat is kinda sucky, it does still have its winning qualities and given how good the rest of morrowind is that combat is largely passable by TES standards.
Min-maxing defeats the point of roleplaying.
I'm not even capable of coming up with a character background so roleplaying isn't an option for me
I get the most fun out of RPGs from minmaxing, the more absurdly complex the math the more fun.

I was using the alternate start mod, put it to a random spawn and I ended up on the shipwreck, swam over to this guy and found him surrounded by all these gems. So I murdered him and took the stuff. Didn't even realise it was a dark brotherhood contract.
his clothes are comfy
