I'm not even capable of coming up with a character background so roleplaying isn't an option for me I get the most fun out of RPGs from minmaxing, the more absurdly complex the math the more fun.
Roleplaying gets boring by level 30 or so in morrowind so I tend to start minmaxing as well just to become overpowered. Though I regret encountering the level 50 bug with Gedna Revel, that was absolutely brutal.
Note how "modhealth" is repeated 3 times, when it should be "modhealth" then "modfatigue" then "modmagicka". This means if you are level 50, Gedna Relvel will have health of 40,700 instead of the intended 5,700.
Nothing worse than two fucking undead, massively overpowered sorcerers setting off the apocalypse in a 10x10 meter locked room I literally had to fight her for a full half hour. Got a pretty kickin rad robe though
Anybody else think it's odd that you can join the Dark Brotherhood after they've already accepted a payment on a contract to kill you, and "failure is not an option"? So, what, do they refund that person's money and tell them to fuck off because you're part of the family now? This bugs me.
Yeah I was looking for an option to say Hey Hey bitch Yes hi Wtf is this You suck

Thought about it some more. Considering the state of Tamriel in the 4th Era, and the condition the DB is in, I guess it can be justified. With no speaker, or listener, and down to one functioning sanctuary, they've done away with the Tenets. Maybe Astrid would value a new recruit over honoring a contract.
What was that mod for Morrowind that changed the weapon skill to make it a chance of missing instead of a chance of hitting?
best joke mod
Also, at least one of the people from the DB in Oblivion was someone LaChance was sent to kill but then recruited after she killed the guy who asked the DB to kill her. I think. Either way I bring justice to the Dark Brotherhood. So it doesn't matter.

Too bad the assassin random encounters aren't tied to an NPC the way hired thugs are. I guess I'll just have to pick somebody and kill them. The only NPC who's gotten upset with me so far, though, is a kid in Solitude who hired thugs to kill me because I accidentally stole a plate (stupid UI -- I installed Blocksteal after that).
I honestly think the guy who made civil war overhaul has brain issues. Either that or a really big ego
his clothes are comfy
You heartless bastard :'c ~ For the guy wanting the ENB. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15425/? Cinemascope.
I need that spell please
I linked it in the video description. If you can't get it off workshop I can put it on MEGA or something.

I really don't like how staggering effects from arrows or magic is considered a perk. You are firing arrows over 100mph towards a dude.. same with fire or fucking THUNDER shooting from your hands. What the fuck was Bethesda thinking?

What the fuck was Bethesda thinking?
For video games, I believe that Bethesda likes to take out common sense for balancing issues. It's why everyone in the thread hates SKYRE for its realistic bow damage. Sure, its realistic to take out someone with 1-2 arrows, but that advantage is given to the opponent too, so to the player, it feels unfair. Would it be fun for arrows or magic to always stagger the opponent and you? No, even if you did have that balance where the AI and you have that stagger ability, the AI has the advantage of aim-bot to always hit the player, so you'd be constantly staggered because the AI will have a ~90% chance of hitting you. And it wouldn't even make sense if only the player had the ability to stagger and the AI to not have it.
Why are bears so OP? My full-Orc-armor-wearing, destruction-spewing battlemage keeps getting oneshotted.

I think Oblivion might have a bit too many of these to even think about balance. I mean, what if; mages where rare, or just less of em now.. sorta more like a cult or order. It would kinda feel like a boss battle if you encounter em. For archers, I don't know.. I used to do it when I was 12 till my 14th at a range in the east of my country. It was hard but the older members seemed really effective at hitting large mammal sized targets 50 to 70 meters or some shit. Maybe the same? I don't know. Some stuff is just ment to be OP. I mean books and movies all tell us mages and bowmen are forces to be dealt with using skill or cunning.
I've been thinking lately of maybe doing livestreams (and even if i wont, it doesnt really matter) of morrowind, but I have done vanilla morrowind so many times so I figured I could use some mods. I hate scrolling through the mods section on websites so I want you people to pimp my morrowind for me. I will literally download every single mod you mention even if its gay furry porn mods and whatever - the only exception being if it's incompatible with other mods I will be using/it doesn't actually work at all/it's a virus/otherwise obvious reasons preferably you should PM me because I don't think anyone wants to see a huge page of links here but I don't really care please help breaking a guys morrowind, will you? good lord why did I have to be page king
Why are bears so OP? My full-Orc-armor-wearing, destruction-spewing battlemage keeps getting oneshotted.
Bears. Tougher than dragons. In fact, if they had ranged weapons they could probably beat dragons. Hmm, now there's a follower mod idea: a bear with a crossbow. Oh, wait... I just got Skyrim on New Year's All I have to say on the matter is, my best glitch was an NPC standing stock still with his head and neck missing, upon talking to him, my game crashed :v:
Elaborate?
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37216/? Just read the description. He glorifies himself and is super annoying to read. Regardless of the quality of the mod the guy seems like an idiot.

His descriptions are literally pathetic out of a rhetorical standpoint; he chooses to over-use humor more than actually being descriptive, which is aggravating when reading a description for a mod with a bunch of features.

At least it's not on Falskaar/Descent into Madness levels of bad.

I mean books and movies all tell us mages and bowmen are forces to be dealt with using skill or cunning.
mages aren't rare, though. magicka flows through every person and if you're a breton or high elf you have a great chance/guarantee to be a powerful mage. if you're not, you can still become competent with just a little training what would be preferable is very squishy mages who use standard wards simultaneously with weak spells, or who use most of their magicka reserve on powerful wards, forcing them to drop their ward for a couple seconds before and after they fire high damage spells. that gives depth to anti-mage strategy, where if you see them lower their ward, you have a second or two to stagger them with an arrow or get behind a rock or chug a resistance potion to tank the damage, and then if they're spitting weaker fireballs it's safer to approach and beat their shit in for archers, it'd be better if their accuracy dropped at a higher rate per foot of distance from their target, and if bandits weren't allowed to advance past a certain skill level in archery. also, this would require new ammo types, but armor-piercing arrows. all the normal arrows would use models with cool- or dark-colored fletchings, and then the armor-piercing bodkin variants, which would be hard to find/exclusive to higher-level enemies like soldiers, would use bright red/orange/warm-colored fletchings. the idea is you can tell from a distance what type the arrows are by how bright the color of the fletchings are, visible from over the shoulder of the enemy where the arrows sit in their back-strapped quivers also, while i agree that most of the offensive bonus perks are regrettably vital, the block-arrows-with-shield perk is BS. all shields should block all arrows by default to help with difficult archer bosses [ebony-wielding Deathlords] and to promote the use of shields. *****which reminds me, are they any mods that include total damage negation when you block blows with a shield? where you take no damage, but a greater loss of stamina? i hate that by default you still lose health even if you're blocking a dagger with a strong-ass shield. skyrim isn't dark souls, but it could take a cue from the latter's combat for sure
As someone who's actually tried the dragon break mod, I can say it's not that bad. It's a bit nonsensical and confusing sometimes, but it's not bad. Much better than descent into madness. The only thing is, the humor is a bit... flat. it tries, oh yes it tries to be funny, and it sometimes is, but they use the megaslut as a crutch for jokes and it doesn't work that often. Anyways, the whole thing feels like a subpar dr. who episode, with you going through a time loop for no apparent reason other than 'because it has to happen'. I did enjoy the part where the daedra hunt you down though. That was pretty entertaining. Either way, you don't really get a good reward out of it besides a metric fuckton of daedric armors and weapons (you literally kill/loot everything TWICE), and a few followers you can recruit afterwards. The nice thing is that they don't fall into typical follower networking during the questline, so you can still have your other follower along for the ride. All in all, a decent quest. A bit short, but it's an episodic thing by looks, so maybe ep. 2 will be a bit better in terms of content.
