So I've sided with the Imperials this time and I've made my way into Windhelm to dispose Ulfric and his helpers from the throne.
It sucks that both Ulfric and Galmar are essential. I really like how in New Vegas you can literaly destroy, e.g. kill everybody in the factions you don't like.
Miraak was a faggot to beat, and the Dragon Riding is kinda disappointing, since you can't actually travel far on the Dragon

Here's the video. You'll have to forgive the stuttering and sudden freezes, but computer is a potato and it can barely run Skyrim as it is
Heh Shadowfax.

Miraak's a bad boss, but a pretty decent character. His robes, gloves and boots are quite powerful though, since with the Atronach stone you absorb 100% of magicka for the day.

Or it might be Atronach stone + atronach perk together with Miraak's gear, but I wouldn't know because rebalanced perk mods are better than vanilla perks
Are there any mods that improve Dragon Riding? I actually want to travel through the land instead if circling in one place like a jackass
I got an invite with key but no download link uhm wow that's great!

redeem the key in your account page and then you can download the client from there, however the beta doesn't start until friday
Got an invite aswell, I've heard that the game is pretty bad. Is this true? I don't want to go through a 30gb download if the game is very sub-par. I loved TES series overall and I mostly play MMOs.

Do you love TES or MMOs more?
From what I've heard it's a pretty okay MMO, it simply isn't doing much that's new.

I would have to say MMOs. Almost exclusively what I play with an exception of some larger titles and haven't played Skyrim since about 3 months after release. I think I'll give it a shot, mix it up a bit from the standard quickbar Warcraft/Everquest-ish combat.

There is actually! Called Real Time Dragon Fast Travel, and it does what title says. Although you can't control the dragon, the dragon path finding for flying from place to place is pretty good. Plus it lets you summon Odahviing and then call him again using only one word of the shout to bring him down so you can ride him. Or you beat Dragonborn's questline and then fight a dragon at Fort Frostmoth and then be able to summon him for your use.

Is that a character in the vanilla game? His name doesn't sound very Skyrim-esque.

Does anyone have that video where some one pickpockets the Briarheart out of a Forsworn, killing, and then having guards hired by that same Forsworn attack him? I don't know the name and his game looked like shit with all the ENB shit in it.
The only reason I loved the Soul Cairn was because of Jiub.
I never did find him.

He's sitting next to a little fire surrounded by dead trees

On a scale of 0 to 10 on vagueness, 0 being not vague, 10 being vague, this post scored a number.

What would you guys recommend for essential mod additions? I'm looking for pretty much anything - visual, immersion, you name it. The OP didn't seem to help, and I wasn't sure about following it, considering the last edit was August last year...

Unnofficial Patches, Better Shaped Weapons, Tanning and Smelting Exp, and Lost Longswords are just a few that I would recommend.
If you're looking for quest mods, I would recommend Wyrmstooth, and Undeath. Both are really good, and don't add or remove too much from the game. Wyrmstooth takes you on a dragon hunt to a new island with mushrooms and Undeath lets you become a lich.
Also unrelated but getting Horse Armors to work with Better Horses is mind numbingly difficult. I had them working together one minute, and now they decided that they don't want to work together.

Why don't you just get Convenient Horses ? It has horse armor and everything you need to make horses actually useful.
Eh, I can go with out the Horse Armor. All it is a little thing to make them look nicer.

I like Better Horses because it lets you configure horse speed, stamina, essential status, etc
Hey is there any good armour and weapon mods for Oblivion like there is for Skyrim?
Convenient horses lets you do all of that and more I think.
Edit: better horses is kind of outdated

It's like those nexus kids just shitting those followers from their assholes, instead of actually making them.

So does convenient horses.
It also lets you pick up stuff while on horseback, automatically opens the loot window if you kill an enemy while riding, gives you two solutions to find your horse, one more roleplayish than the other, and some additional stuff even allows you to create your own stable with all of your horses in them, with custom names and everything.
