I hate how Skyrim changed the bartering. It used to be that you queued up everything you wanted to do in the transaction, then confirmed it. That was nice for a couple reasons:
1) You had a chance to make sure you hadn't clicked wrong and were about to sell the armor off your back.
2) Items worth less than 1 Septim could be sold in bulk and still net you some coin (like selling 10 iron arrows for 3 drakes, for example).
Then comes Skyrim and you click it, you sold it. So pay attention to what you're clicking on. And if it's not worth 1 Septim, it's worthless no matter how many you have. I hate that.
At least when it comes to arrows there is a bit of help out there. I installed a mod that lets me melt down 50 arrowheads into an ingot. Now those 250 iron arrows in my inventory aren't a complete waste, and I have incentive to actually loot more of them. Better than nothing.
Hate Oblivion. It started the no queued bartering. Fallout 3 and NV still have it though.
My main gripe about the less common races is that they only have one voice. One Male/Female Khajiit and Argonian voice kind of ruins it.
I'm just glad they sound less like chain smokers now.

I wasn't being serious I was just taking a shot at argonians.
They're well designed, but the voices are p bad.

At least Loverslab is always open! :v:

Not just the NMM. The site has been down for a while, too.
Does Nexus sell branded merchandise, because I have a product suggestion. A Nexus yo-yo. If you're really patient, it eventually comes back up.

you're forgetting the motto of the nexus

That applies to Bethesda games in general.
Just spent days downloading TESO only to login and find out that the beta has ended. Why the fuck do I even bother?

You aren't missing much.
That applies to Bethesda games in general.
When Bethesda makes a game they like to shoot for the stars, then they realize that the stars are far as fuck and park that shit on the moon.
Just spent days downloading TESO only to login and find out that the beta has ended. Why the fuck do I even bother?
Well I mean the beta website listed the times and several people including me stated earlier in the thread that it was over, in addition it was a "beta weekend" and the weekend is over...
In any case what you missed is a lot of good humour but not a lot of quality serious writing, mediocre combat compared to a single player game but pretty decent combat for an mmo, and 50 shades of breton.

boo creepy foot doctor
(hooray beer)
I hate it when vampires randomly attack the city and kills the civilians it's so fucking annoying that it forces you to do dawn guard so you don't have to deal with it
Seriously use this mod. All the civilians instantly run inside their houses the moment a vampire event happens even before the fighting starts.

I wish I'd had this on my first playthrough. Whiterun and Markarth had literally 5 people left alive by the time I was done the quests.
Figured i'd give you guys a sneak peak of the vid while I'm working on it.

weird. i'm hosting off my dropbox since that's the only place I know that can hold a 22 meg gif, but i can see it fine. Any idea where I should rehost then?
Looks like a permission error (403). Is the picture in your Public folder?

Also, imgur is free.
[editline]13th January 2014[/editline]
D'oh! You did say it was 22 MB. Imgur probably won't like that. Point taken.
22MB is a bit big for a gif. You should try resizing it or adding some form of compression.
Are there any tools or something that lets you check what mods you have in your saves?
I've been putting my stuff in from my old computer to my new and im pretty sure I forgot to backup some mods for my saves and I don't need crashes or errors that will take me forever to search till I realize I forgot something important.
This is pretty cool

It's like Armed to the Teeth, but it's handled different. At least I think so.

I think wrye bash does it. I would recommend getting mod organizer, though. You can run wrye bash and other executables through it.

why would you want a mod that automatically drops your weapon when you switch it, especially in a game with a physics engine so utterly broken as skyrim's
and the geared up feature is in the vanilla game as an ini tweak, I have no idea why people use mods like armed to the teeth when that exists, sure it's buggy (though now I think of it the only real bug is the fact that it sometimes doesn't put weapons away properly if you don't manually sheathe them before changing them out but that could be fixed by a simple script that sheathes it for you right?) but it's a damn sight better than fiddling with shitloads of custom meshes and awful slow cumbersome scripts.
the weapon drop sucks pretty bad but the torch thing was alright.

Well if you would pay attention, this mod fixes the vanilla one where you have to constantly sheave to switch or else it fucks everything up. So this removes most of the bugs that your .ini tweak creates.
Furthermore the dropping of a weapon is a feature that can be turned on or off in the MCM menu and also makes your argument pretty much amount to "I didn't give this mod any of my time because I assumed I already know everything about it".
edit - FURTHERMORE, the torches being lit even when dropped is separate from the weapon dropping option meaning, you get two decent fixes with one optional feature, so this is actually a pretty damn good mod.

that should do it, now that it's in the public folder.

I, and everyone else with a bad internet connection thank you profusely for posting that behemoth
