Once it's out, there are so many dungeons I could make with those assets.
could someone reupload the Skywind 2GB file? It won't let anyone download it.

Isn't it pretty much just the landscapes?
Seems i've got a game to play then. I love being mistaken in it being lazy garbage. [editline]28th May 2013[/editline] It'll be ages before all quests are ported and functional but HOLY SHIT by that time, i'll jump head-first in there.
Morrowind on the other hand was the very definition of things being hand placed everywhere and a lot more "care" being seemingly put into it's world and environments. That was one of the disappointments of Oblivion was that it wasn't like what Morrowind was at all in that aspect, and skyrim was a little better but they botched it by focusing everything into bad quesitng versus focusing the design of the game on the world itself.

Wait has the Skyrim Oblivion+Morrowind mod working at least on par with Morroblivion's level or is it still in beta with bugs and crashs
Goddamnit, I really want to try replaying oblivion but it crashes on startup, even without mods.
Wait has the Skyrim Oblivion+Morrowind mod working at least on par with Morroblivion's level or is it still in beta with bugs and crashs
It's in a very, very early alpha stage. Everyone's naked, there are no real scripts or quests, the npcs don't do anything but sit and eat, there's no voice acting, the items are all unfinished and the environment is still being worked on. Not really worth playing at the moment, but you can go offer to help out if you have any modding experience.
Kind of annoying how TV tropes claims it knows what CHIM is.
Re-Installing Oblivion now. I'm really excited now that it's been de-potato'd. I might actaully be able to play through the whole thing now.
Also as much as I love Oblivion over Skyrim, it's undeniable that Skyrims world is just plain nicer.
That is true, but I feel like Oblivion's story was better.
The next game should be set in hammerfell, its just the perfect place for it. Dumb'd? Damn chill bra, just an opinion. I'd rather it MUCH more than Black Marsh or some shit. Black Marsh would be one thing. A marsh. Not to mention its supposed to be impossible for anything but its native creatures to live there for any extended period of time. And storywise, there isn't much going on there. Hammerfell has deserts, tropical forests, mountains, savannas, and plenty of interesting cities. Plus the Aldmeri Dominion have been establishing quite a foothold there, so from a story standpoint, it works well.
That is true, but I feel like Oblivion's story was better.
I think oblivion is better at almost everything.
I think oblivion is better at almost everything.
Except the leveling system.
Has anyone done any mods for skyrim? I'm making a helmet and I have absolutely no clue how to make the dropped item with collisions
Except the leveling system.
I'd say the opposite, Skyrim beats it in most ways EXCEPT the levelling system and quests.
Morrowind's Leveling and skill system + gameplay + oblivion's story + skyrim's graphics.
What I'd like in Morrowind are a few elements of the later games like the NPC going their simple daily paths. Even better it it would be majorly overhauled. It really did breathe life into the NPC's.
Yeah, as much as I love Morrowind the world seems really dead in comparison to the later games.
Kind of annoying how TV tropes claims it knows what CHIM is.
I know what CHIM is. Bullshit.
Yeah, as much as I love Morrowind the world seems really dead in comparison to the later games.
When they added in AI packages in Oblivion, NPCs finally inhabited different areas at logical times. Morrowind's NPC stood about all day long.
Goddamnit, I really want to try replaying oblivion but it crashes on startup, even without mods.
Re-create the oblivion.ini in MyDocuments/Mygames/oblivion
When they added in AI packages in Oblivion, NPCs finally inhabited different areas at logical times. Morrowind's NPC stood about all day long.
This is why you don't play morrowind without modding it lol Specifically the mod that makes it so NPC's actually wander and show up at different places at different times. They still kind of "idle" but they now have actual scedules and stuff of where they will be at
i wish they made an elder scroll game without shit combat

That one Elswyr mod for Oblivion is great. I love riding elephants.
Any mod for Oblivion that make the armor look less... awful?
Where is this magical mod?
I can't remmeber but you can find it on telephoro's list at http://www.mwmythicmods.com

Would be nicer to have the game spawn around multiple countries rather than sticking to just one. Would be great to try and cross the borders and seeing such varied areas.
