Umbra's p. cool. It can cut realms of Oblivion and stuff.

Like people. And slave races.

Gonna miss it.
If only the Rueful Axe was as good.
The fact Clavicus Vile actually fucks you over with the Rueful axe is pretty cool though, since it's not a daedric artifact and doesn't count towards the Oblivion Walker achievement.
So my vegas has decided it doesn't want to play nice. that video I promised you guys might be a while.
Out of curiosity mostly (although I might totally do it if I confirm I can), can you make a constant effect item that provides 100% spell absorption? Possibly with a daedric tower shield, maybe using the soul of a certain unique npc?
[editline]eh[/editline]
Doesn't seem like it - seems like constant effect enchantments are extremely limited. Not sure if it's true but a calculator spat out that you'd need 5000 enchantment points for 100% spell absorption and the highest in the game is 225
Don't remember which one it was, but I tried out an ENB, either I installed it wrong, or it was terrible. It would have this really horrible ambient occlusion and depth of field. The entire screen would be a blurry mess, except for a small circle in the middle, on top of that, anything you're not looking directly at would be blurry as fuck. So if you were looking at mountains, everything else would be a blurry mess, looking at a rock in front of you, everything else will be a blurry mess :v:
I played for like 10 min before I got nauseated, I generally can't play with less than 90 fov, that circle of blur was essentially like playing on 50 fov :v:

I guess someone should have told you Depth of Field settings in ENB are really quite garbage...
Sorry.
The inbuilt default ENB DOF isn't good at all. But there are many custom DOF shaders for ENB.
What's that Morrowind mod compilation that kept getting asked for and reccommended every other page a while back?
Morrowind overhaul
Is it compatible with CanadianIce's Robes and Fineries?
Its pretty much compatable with everything. Morrowind Overhaul last I checked is pretty much only visuals.
Worst case just install MW overhaul first and everything else on top of it.
Anyone know which stores in Skyrim sell the most iron?
Anyone know which stores in Skyrim sell the most iron?
Smithys, and that's pretty much it.
Sucks how there isn't a reliable vendor in skyrim to get crafting supplies.
Not even a mod?
Sucks how there isn't a reliable vendor in skyrim to get crafting supplies.
What kind of crafting supplies? I mean you could buy every mat for daedric armor and it wouldn't take too long to find. that's pretty damn generous compared to morrowind where you might have to kill an essential npc or something to get some :v:
SPERG gives you the ability to smelt vanilla equipment. Armor and 2H weapons will give you 3 ingots of whatever material they're made of.
There are also a mod laying around that changes the stock of smithies so they only supply you with materials used by their own race.
On the topic of crafting, there's yet another crafting overhaul out there.
I'd still prefer something like lorecraft, but I've never actually tried it. It also seems to have a module for everything and their cat.
Though, I do wish more crafting mods could make use of SkyProc patchers. Someone made one of those for Economics of Skyrim, but that's the only one I've ever seen being used in relation to a mod that alters crafting.
I hate how armor mods force you to have some super high level crafting skill to craft the armor, and they don't give you any alternative method for finding the armor, not even a refid
Well you could just type: Help "Name of shiny boots" in console, should give you the ID
In the console, type "help nameofarmorhere". It'll list every item with that name along with the ID.
Then click on yourself in third person and type "player.additem IDhere 1"
handy hit, you don't even need to click on yourself
just writing the player. prefix before a targeted command alone will set the player as the target
Alternatively, player.placeatme (ID) # will place the item near you.
Handy if you want to fill a room with cheese wheels.

You can try installing Economics of Skyrim, it has a system where you can order equipment from blacksmiths for gold. You can also get a SkyProc patcher that adds mod-added armors to the list.

It's worth noting they can't give you a reference ID because it's not the same for everyone. The way TES avoids conflicts in item IDs (games that don't do this make modding a nightmare) is by prefixing the ref ID with its load order. Like if it's the 5th mod you loaded, it'll prefix 005 I believe (it's in hex, in any case). So they cannot possibly give you a refid, you have to obtain it yourself with the help command.
Yet editing leveledlists is still something reserved that explodes if two people alter the same thing.
Good thing wrye bash exists.

Tamriel Rebuilt is pleased to open the new year with a brand new massive alpha release. This alpha contains content from the west of Morrowind – including the entirety of our Heartland release & the southern half of our Veloth release in terms of Exteriors. It also includes parts initially slated for the Almalexia release that were separated from the city proper, which have a greater level of polish (including interiors and a few NPCs). If you're lucky, you might even find a quest or two! Some of you may also recognize part of this work from our previous Heartland alpha; this unofficial release (which includes the previous alpha) contains FAR more landmass & many bug fixes, as well as some interiors and the occasional NPC. It should be kept in mind that we are not yet done making these regions, and some of the progress we have made has not been merged into this alpha. As always, anyone who wants to get involved in populating this land is highly welcome -- please read our About and Join pages, then drop by our forums and showcase your skills!

That is absolutely gorgeous. I had expected towns and cities to look like bad copies of the default Morrowind cities; while the buildings are the same, those new cities look surprisingly well constructed and to have their own atmosphere.
Finally got vegas to play nice and finished editing the video. It's no novajam quality, but it's a good representation of the mod and it's horrible questline. Should be up soon.
I wish you could get an ice palace.
Finished up this little fella (argonian head for M&B mod)

I think she looks adorable for some reason.

Finally up. In retrospect, I probably went overboard with the on-screen text.
Also, this quest took 6 fucking hours to complete because of all the tedious fetchquesting.
The number of times they used the phrase "conqueror's challenge" would've been in the hundreds had I not cut the side dialogue from the wizards of old.
