The Elder Scrolls Megathread XV: A Song of Ice and Draugr - Games

I know Dawnguard is short and you should only pick it up on sales. As for Dragonborn, I don't know. It seems to be mostly poking at Morrowind, so if you like Morrowind, it may help for nostalgia. Otherwise, it seems kind of boring, the main quest is short and lacks satisfaction. Edit: I just found out both of them cost 20€. I'd never buy them unless they went on sale for 75% or more.

I bought the Legendary edition during the holiday sale. I'm so glad I did though, Skyrim with mods is really fun. Before I played it on my Xbox but I had an urge for Skyrim but lost the disk so yeah.

Dragonborn was $5 on Amazon during the holidays and Dawnguard was like a year before that.

Does anyone know why my Moonpath to Elsweyr is incredibly dark? It's the middle of the day but it's as if it's night time. I can see light on the trees but there's no actual light. I tried looking through the nexus for an answer but I haven't seen one.

Prequel was fun for a while but at some point it just started being too repetitive. I lost track when Katia had some nightmare with a king and it was like 3 pages of her crying.

Not all of them, just some chunks of the level were pitch black as if there was no lighting. No clue why, but temporarily disabling my ENB in-game fixed it for me.

Bethesda puts up everything before Skyrim on sale often at 75%.

So, the animal pen in Hearthfire, only houses a cow and a hen? Where are the goats? Where are the living pheasants? Where are the mammoths and bristlebacks a real Dragonborn would have in a farm? Seriously, TES would benefit from more wildlife. Having 2 species of deer was awesome, but more stuff wouldn't have hurt. And if there are slaughterfish in the wild, and seared slaughterfish in the menu, if I throw a lightningbolt at the water, I'd expect to be able to pick up more than mere scales out of that meter long fish.

After I played Bioshock, I kept shooting lightning at the water thinking I'd zap whatever was in it. Didn't help that I later got a spell that functioned nearly the same as the plasmid from Bioshock.

Wow, I got a good texture mod, static mesh improvement and a good ENB with depth of field, and it feels like I'm watching a movie when I play Skryim now. muh immershuns

TL:DR Guy finds a method of telling SKSE to make a larger initial memory buffer when skyrim stars to avoid so much swapping which can cause CTD's. People are playing on Ugrids 19 without crashing.

Oh how I wish I had a computer to run this and mod.
