That one Elswyr mod for Oblivion is great. I love riding elephants.
I really love the Elyswer mod, first thing I did was get a bunch of nord and human followers, armed them up with knight looking armor. Took a ship down from the Imperial city, invaded Elyswer in a crusade, and then looped back up into Cyrodiil, and killed everyone who wasn't Nord or Human.
Elsweyr+Valenwood and maybe Sumerset Isle's, all in one. Would be nicer to have the game spawn around multiple countries rather than sticking to just one. Would be great to try and cross the borders and seeing such varied areas.
They should do Hammerfell and High rock.
Either one would work I guess.
Howabout revisiting the Iliac Bay? Now that they have a canon scale, it'd be neat seeing the areas again in the right size. ESO doesn't count, I want to see the Bay after the Warp in the West.
Hammerfell would be good because of its cultural and geographical diversity.

I'm hoping the next game will be set in Valenwood and Elsweyr. Combined it is about the same size as Skyrim and it gives a nicer variety of environments.
Canon Scale? In what parallel world is that?
I just mean that Vvardenfell, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim are roughly the same scale in their respective games. In Daggerfall, the Iliac Bay region was equivalent to twice the size of Great Britain.
I think a Morrowind cell's actually half as dense as an Oblivion or Skyrim cell - that's the conclusion Province: Cyrodil have come to, at the very least; although I'm not sure how they've done so without relying on the authenticity of TR's scales if they're just comparing gridded landmasses in Photoshop.
anyone know why they removed Pit Fighting in Skyrim?
I find it weird how Morrowind didn't have a pit fighting questline despite having a whole district in Vivec devoted to a pit fighting arena.
Gods damn, five days of installing Oblivion mods and now I still have to debug my setup.
I find it weird how Morrowind didn't have a pit fighting questline despite having a whole district in Vivec devoted to a pit fighting arena.
Isn't that more for duels of honour and settling disputes than gladiatorial games?
Gods damn, five days of installing Oblivion mods and now I still have to debug my setup.
shit man that must have been a ton of fucking mods. I have 81 mods subscribed (so more installed) for Skyrim, and that's from over a half years installing.
Isn't that more for duels of honour and settling disputes than gladiatorial games?
Who's to say?
Some ESO footage with First Person animations
Who's to say?
You could look it up on the wiki or Imperial Library, or play the game and ask around...
Say what you will about the game, it amazing to see them respond to fan criticism the way they do. That said, Dark Elves look like shit. As my favorite race that ticks me off. Guess I'm going Orc if I play it.
Some ESO footage with First Person animations
They seems to be fixing a lot of the stuff that looked off, but the thirdperson animations still look like they're from the Sims. It's like Skyrim, but with Morrowind's animations. I just don't think they fit well.
I'm still not gonna play it. MMO really isn't my thing.
The only reason they're screaming is because they see me coming
Come at me bro. *cough*
Wish i had the attentionspan for the two oldies.
My main issue with daggerfall are just the framerate and software rendered graphics. Daggerxl should be a far more palatable experience, once its fully up and running. Especially once the high-res sprite mods are made.
Some ESO footage with First Person animations
I must admint this has renewed some hope for me. But I get the feeling MMO's are too, cluttered(?) and mental for 1st person now that I see that. You'd need a damned good FOV slider.
Or you just zoom into 3rd person when things get to hectic.
My main problem with Daggerfall is that I'm too scared to do something a mess up the game or miss a main quest or something.
My main problem with Daggerfall is that I'm too scared to do something a mess up the game or miss a main quest or something.
I think the only timed part of the main quest is where you have to meet someone at an inn, if you miss it you can't start the main quest at all.
Probably just Beth being lazy, but to me, it was always such an overused and boring thing. I can shoot fireballs at people without being in an arena.
but sometimes I enjoy going to fight against a single, high level human in an arena. Some really tense battles come out of that.
I think the only timed part of the main quest is where you have to meet someone at an inn, if you miss it you can't start the main quest at all.
Yeah but I keep forgetting how to do that part... And I don't like failing the misc quests either.
