Does anyone know of any good jewelry mods for Skyrim? I'm looking specifically to fill out the standard metals and gemstones so that every combination is represented in rings, pendants, and circlets. It's annoying that I can only get a Gold Diamond Ring & Necklace, but no Gold Diamond Circlet. Or a Silver Sapphire Necklace & Circlet, but no Silver Sapphire Ring. So on and so forth.
I searched for "jew" on Nexus because I forgot how to spell jewelry.
Sadfully no Jews but it did show me some things you might like.

Hurp durp, I never even thought to search "jewelry" because I was mostly concerned with circlets. :downs:
Thanks a bunch!
You knob :v
I'd rather beth make massive cities and load them up full of shit, and make them like actual cities - and have fewer of them.
having 2 or 3 massive cities with smaller villages around the world would be way cooler than what we get.
Even though the cities were repetitive, I loved just wandering around them in daggerfall and entering all the houses looking for decent loot to steal - and you could escape the guards, and still actually be in the city!
Problem is the engine they use is utter shit and can't handle a lot of NPCs at once so it's pretty much impossible to keep it and still hope assassin's creed levels of population in cities.
You knob :v
Yup! :downs:
Kind of sucks, though. Those both focus on just rings and necklaces and don't even touch circlets.
Okay I'll shut up then :c
Nah, it's cool. I still appreciate them. I guess I'll just have to run 2-3 mods to get everything I want, rather than one condensed mod to do it all.
You'd figure there'd be at least one other person that wants all possible metal/gemstone combinations out of all the jewelry, not just rings and necklaces.... I mean, there's half a dozen or more "circlet and hoods/helmets/hats" mods floating around, yet very few actual circlet mods. Maybe I'll look into it myself...

It's probably way more of an issue of scale, if you made those cities that big the surrounding landscape would have to be just as much bigger and trying to populate that with stuff is really not something a dev team can do in a reasonable amount of time to release a game.

That, and AI is much more complex in TES games, having a daily schedule, a set of dialogue, and inventory that also defines their capabilities in responding to situations, and a record of its relationships with other NPCs and factions. In an Assassin's Creed game, for example, all an NPC has to be able to do is pop into existence somewhere out of frame, walk across the scene, and then disappear again.
Bloody useless, the lot of you. The official site was more helpful than you bunch.

If you're here for trouble you'll get more than you bargained for.
Bone Hawk amulets have a recipe, Bone Hawk rings don't. Seeing said ring is a combination of ring and BRASS KNUCKLES, well, quite annoying that is a unique item... Guess somebody would have to make a recipe for it.

Nexus mods aka how to make wolves more good looking than children.
So I'm going to post my character's backstory here in the hope that someone likes it.
My character's just a Skaal town girl, livin' a lonely world. Well, her mother got lost in a blizzard carrying her daughter. A search party was organised but by the time they found the two, the mother had died from exposure and the baby was in a bad shape. Frea's mother was part of that search party and also died in the rescue effort. The baby pulled through, however her features all turned snow-white. Given this strange metamorphosis and the miracle of her recovery some say it was the work of a Falmer curse, but that's likely just superstition. She grew up as a huntress (occassional apprenticeships with the smith when he needed an extra pair of hands) in the village, though she also had an interest in magic and tried to model herself on the aspects of nature that fancinated her the most, storms and blizzard. After reaching her mid-teens, she wanted to find out the fate of her namesake and ancestor, Svenja Snow-Song and so travelled from Solsthiem, to Morrowind, to Cyrodil to find the answers. She had just found the remains of the Uderfrykte Matron's nest and an extremely old journal after following up old stories before she got lost in the Jeralls over into Skyrim and caught in an ambush meant for these "Storm Cloaks" (although she sees little of The Storm about them). And from then on it's the game.

Holy shit new version of Immersive Armors
Balmora was a plausibly sized village community, Imperial City was fairly believable, but shit like Morthal is ridiculous
why does the elder scrolls seem to be the only series where cities get less realistic in each iteration?
But according to lore, Balmora was not just a village. Everything in Morrowind was scaled. The buildings were even bigger on the inside than the outside, so they could pack a few more buildings into a town without the town having as large a footprint as necessary.

God damn this is a huge update.
Time to redownload the whole thing.
I love the new shield painting thing.
I finally installed an FPS counter. The results were depressing. I can't wait until I get my new rig. Got the monitor ordered (I've been wanting a 2nd for a long time, and there was a decent promotion on an ASUS). It should be here tomorrow. The rest has to wait.
I barely remember that there's grass in this game
I have my settings so low that I don't get any grass or any other plant that isn't pine trees or harvestable ones

What about "lore-friendly"? ;)
After reinstalling Skyrim I suddenly remembered how blocky the shadows are (especially self shadows).
Anyone got some good settings/mods/tweaks/whatever for prettier shadows?

While I do find the new systems and massive compatibility good, I just hate how immersive weapons and immersive armor keeps monopolizing everything. I know I now can turn shit off if I don't want it to appear in-game, but that still doesn't change the fact that I have to download ~1 gigabyte of crap or that other mod authors simply abandon their projects because uncle hothtrooper takes care of them.
What I don't get is why he couldn't just make a framework, then have his armor mods and let everyone make patches for their armor mods. It just seems a bit backwards to me. Also, if he is making this huge generalized pack, why haven't he thought about people using body mods? It looks like he made a patch for UNP (not UNPB, though) and then said "fuck you make your own CBBE patch", even though making patches for CBBE is really easy, as far as I've heard.
I may want that pack just because of the shields, but fuck downloading 1GB of armors. Instead I may start using Omegared's new pack, because it isn't a clusterfuck of different shit and actually support different body mods, like a proper giant armor mod should!
90% of that mod isn't even that immersive.
It's better than everyone wearing the same god damn armor in the base game.
I kinda wish Bethesda RPGs had an alternative to lockpicking, like smashing it open or magicking it open (or blowing it open with explosives in Fallout) or some shit

There's a pretty nifty mod for both of those things.
How the hell do I install ENB for Skyrim?
I don't even know what to download.
