Not to mention Cyrodiil being tropical doesn't make any fucking sense from a climatogeographic point.
I really like using ENB's, but performance is so strange. Even with no effects active my fps drops to like 25 from 90. But when I deactivate it my fps goes back up.

Great, now I have to figure out which mod is making my game crash. Out of 218.

Did you use BOSS first to make sure everything is in the right order ?

Of course, it turned out to be some old outdated mod I forgot I had.
Have chaurus egg piles always turned dark after being harvested, or did a mod do that?

Smithing and Enchanting is overpowered
Installed a hair mod. I now have over 300 hairs for females. Holy christ.
I never invest more than 1 point into the first heavy armor perk

Mod
Thanks. I thought that seemed different.

I was excited to try this once I installed Hearthfire but when I went to alchemy+smithing boost I discovered they fixed it in the Unofficial patch
so with 100 smithing, 4 items of +26% smithing, a Blacksmith's Elixir, 100 enchanting, and an Enchanter's Elixir, I could only get its damage to ~49 with something like ~46 points each of frost and fire damage :(
Has anyone tried that CTD/freeze fixer mod? Does it work?
After like 2 games of that shit Bethesda still didn't realize people are going to infinitely loop production skill buffs
maybe more i don't know if daggerfall or arena have something similar

For me it helps stutter and loading speed for me a lot.
But you needs ENBoost as well.
I've been thinking of doing a third person playthrough with some animation mod, does Immersive animation work well?

Unofficial patches add that.

It did for me. Saves me so much frustration!
While I'm here and pasta bologneseing, have the Thalmor plans for ending the reality.
Oh, and according to Michael Kirkbride, [sp]they're going to win[/sp].
So are the humans just not aware of this plan or what
Isn't there some sort of hidden code lore puzzle thing about a bunch of butterfly jars revealing a conspiracy and the location of some kind of tower or whatever in Skyrim?
Anybody else use Alternate Start - Live Another Life? My version was a bit out of date and I got the bug where you get dumped back into the prison cell with Hadvar and Ralof watching as Tullius and Ulfric start wailing on each other. It was hilarious!
Was thinking last night. I don't really want to redownload everything and install everything bit by bit and will treat it as a last resort. Is it possible that TESEdit might help with my freezes? I have a couple of older mods that are pretty dirty.
It's unfortunate that all this crazy metaphysical lore stuff is mostly separate from the games.
Nexus sucks. Lately I can't seem to download any mods over 100 KB.

I tried to download Immersive Armor v7 yesterday. Normally, a ~1gig file takes me about an hour and a half. It took me all fucking day because nexus chose to download at ~45 kb/s and constantly stop the download.
Unique live bugs captured in jars. Each jar also carries a unique inscription etched into the inside of the lid, which all appear to be written in some form of runic script. The purpose/meaning of these items (and their inscriptions) is unknown, and there is no associated quest or reward for collecting them. The butterfly, moth, and torchbug jars respawn along with the areas where they are found, allowing multiple copies of these three jars to be obtained. The bee and dragonfly jars are in areas that do not respawn.
The whole conspiracy thing (and the towers you mentioned) are all explained here as well.
Now I would love an expansion or an elder scrolls game where the plot involves saving the universe from being unraveled because high elves are assholes. It certainly beats this whole "you're the hellspawn of a man and a dragon, go save the day you special snowflake" plot.
Are there any mods out there that give followers more spells base of their level? Like, it would stop Serana from using Lighting Bolt at level 50, and instead use Thunderbolt?
That's better for keeping TES lore interesting
[sp]It'd be boring if the generic human race came out on top[/sp]
No matter what else happens, I want the Thalmor to march on Black Marsh and get absolutely buttfucked. The An-Xileel literally forced hell out of their territory and somehow I doubt those prissy high elves have Daedric strength, endurance, or numbers.
Then again, if the An-Xileel decides to side with the Thalmor, everyone else is fucked.
The problem with the Thalmor/Altmer cosmological view is that they think of themselves as special, while, in practice, a mer soul is the same as a man soul, or a beast race soul. So they'll just end up either erasing themselves as well, or getting every other race follow their path. So phyrric victory in any case.
Actually...
The Dragon God and the Missing God
The Dragon God is always related to Time, and is universally revered as the "First God." He is often called Akatosh, "whose perch from Eternity allowed the day." He is the central God of the Cyrodilic Empire.
The Missing God is always related to the Mortal Plane, and is a key figure in the Human/Aldmeri schism. The 'missing' refers to either his palpable absence from the pantheon (another mental distress that is interpreted a variety of ways), or the removal of his 'divine spark' by the other immortals. He is often called Lorkhan, and his epitaphs are many, equally damnable and devout.
Note that Tamriel and the Mortal Plane do not exist yet. The Gray Maybe is still the playground of the Original Spirits. Some are more bound to Anu's light, others to the unknowable void. Their constant flux and interplay increase their number, and their personalities take long to congeal. When Akatosh forms, Time begins, and it becomes easier for some spirits to realize themselves as beings with a past and a future. The strongest of the recognizable spirits crystallize: Mephala, Arkay, Y'ffre, Magnus, Rupgta, etc., etc. Others remain as concepts, ideas, or emotions. One of the strongest of these, a barely formed urge that the others call Lorkhan, details a plan to create Mundus, the Mortal Plane.
Humans, with the exception of the Redguards, see this act as a divine mercy, an enlightenment whereby lesser creatures can reach immortality. Aldmer, with the exception of the Dark Elves, see this act as a cruel deception, a trick that sundered their connection to the spirit plane.
