Some ESO footage with First Person animations

this just makes me feel more confused about the game than anything. I've spent so much time hating it and convincing myself it's going to be terrible, but when I saw how well they made the first person view my balls danced a bit.
[editline]29th May 2013[/editline]
they even seem to be slightly edging the game's graphics to be more in line with Oblivion/Skyrim since the first time I saw it.
Just fix the dunmer, PLEASE.
You fixed the orcs, you fixed the argonians, now make the dunmer look less like drow!
How the hell do I stop Oblivion crashing? It's starting to piss me off a bit.
plugin has data in save file but no handler
plugin did not read all of its data (at 0000000000003C32 expected 0000000000003C4A)
I assume this has something to do with the crashes but I have no idea what it means

just a normal day in markarth i guess
Gotta love how there's more guards in towns then there are normal people in Oblivion and Skyrim
So I guess guards aren't people huh.

Looks like somebody is going to get skooma planted on them.
I think the only timed part of the main quest is where you have to meet someone at an inn, if you miss it you can't start the main quest at all.
It decreases your rep with that person, and since you never see her it will be a little harder to find out how to start the quest, but that's about it. It doesn't screw the main quest up.
How did I not know about this!. There is a khajiit in morrowind that after doing more favors for her stated you were a good "special friend"
nerevarine confirmed for furry
Considering the people who complain about Skyrim are the minority I doubt it.
[editline]29th May 2013[/editline]
Any innovation Beth tries to make will be mostly hated by players of the previous games, but liked by newcomers, such as the absence of missing attacks in Oblivion.
Yeah I'm really glad they innovated the magic to were it was completely dumbed down from both Morrowind and Oblivion. I'm so glad that I can't make spells! Man that was complex! Or having spells crap out on me because my skill wasn't high enough!
I just hate how everyone dislikes magic in Skyrim. The game really encourages you to be a warrior most of the time, at least if you're in cities. I wish NPCs would just shut the fuck up and stop commenting on EVERYTHING.
Comments on how nice your weapons are, scoffs at you if you know magic.
"That's a mighty fine sword you got there. Nice hard steel."
"So you can cast a few spells... am I supposed to be impressed?"
I actually kinda liked the hatred of mages. It made sense given the lore.
Maybe its just because it kind of reminded me of Mages in Dragon Age: Origins being treated like shit.
It's because magic is associated with elves, which most Nords have a prejudice against.

and the whole..

winterhold collapse thing.
Mages are cunts 90% of the time it is well deserved
And half of the mages in Skyrim are necromancers that attack anything on sight.

You got a problem with necromancy buddy?

winterhold collapse thing.
Yeah, except magic wasn't responsible for the Great Collapse. The Nords are just thickheaded and won't listen to Aren of any of the previous Arch Mages when they try to explain that the only reason the College is still standing is because when it was built, very powerful protective magic was cast on it.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:On_the_Great_Collapse
Actually, if you think about it, it was the lack of magic that caused the great collapse.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Baar_Dau
Without magic holding that thing in place, it crashed to Tamriel and caused, among other things, the detonation of Red Mountain, which is what caused the sea to start going crazy and batter Winterhold.
So in Elswyr I came across a skooma cartel.

I may or may not have taken a few bottles.

Reviewers apparently love ESO

some quotes
“So at the end of the day, the question becomes, “Does it feel like an Elder Scrolls game?” To that, ladies and gentlemen, I loudly and clearly proclaim the answer is yes. My time in the game felt like I was playing Skyrim with other players and in my book, that’s a good thing.”

“Here's the part that intrigued me: At no point did the gameplay experience resemble an MMO. Sure, players weren't allowed to run rampant through NPC houses to steal everything in sight, and questing was still limited to "gather such item" or "talk to NPC B because NPC A doesn't feel like walking 10 feet" (those NPCs can be lazy!), but venturing out into the world felt natural, as if I were in any other Elder Scrolls title. The world is still populated with points of interest that actually generate interest.”

“As you can tell by my impressions here, [The] Elder Scrolls Online’s storytelling has left an impact on me. I was more impressed with this brief quest chain than I ever was in my hundreds of hours playing World of Warcraft. Star Wars: The Old Republic’s waning community proves that players need more that good storylines to keep them engaged with an MMO, but I’m hopeful for [The] Elder Scrolls Online.”
Innovation doesn't mean good, or bad, and nor did I say I liked it, but they've done it with every game so far, and you're proving my point that old players hate it while new players like it.
At least Bethesda is trying to be innovative with their games, more then can be said for a lot of developers.
I really hope they go f2p with ESO, P2P has been bad luck for everyone so far, Age of Conan, SWTOR, and after going f2p they have been much more successful.

I really doubt that anyone prefer's Skyrim's magic system over the past games.
Probably talking about Moonpath to Elsweyr
Naw, my PC was too shite to play Skyrim, and I can't abandon my magic using character who can't decide on mage or fighter on the PS3.
dang it spartan u ruind my merge

New players, as in people who played Skyrim before any of the previous games.
I really doubt that anyone prefer's Skyrim's magic system over the past games.
I probably would if not for the fact that you can't equip a sword, shield, and spell at the same time.
You can only really go full-on mage or full-on warrior.
There's no middle ground.

I do...
