Honestly for me wasn't really a fan of the Khajiit until skyrim made them look awesome
Sometimes I hate loving these games.
I know I have to love these games because they're really one of a kind. Give me a game that is a 1st/3rd person hybrid real-time RPG hack 'n' slash shooter set in an open world of dungeon delving, rich lore, and intrigue.
I don't think there is a single genre that can describe what TES and the newer Fallouts are.
TES and the newer Fallouts are like a mish-mash of all those genres combined.
They created one. Sandbox RPGs
But even then, it still doesn't describe how special and unique TES is.
do you ever get the feeling there are some fans who are trying very hard to change Skyrim from a Western RPG to a more Eastern RPG

Because this game is getting a little 2 Kawaii 4 Me

Two Worlds. Two Worlds II.

It's been many, many months since I last made a serious attempt at playing any of the Elder Scrolls game, but I still follow this thread for some reason. I just really love the lore behind these games. I haven't seen a game with so much content put into the background before and it boggles my mind and I love it.
I don't even think I like these games like I like any videogame. In terms of videogames, the games have really poor mechanics and bug-testing, relying on mods to make the gameplay interesting at all. However, they still entertain me with the story, world, exploration, and unique cultures, and I enjoy it for those reasons just as much as I enjoy any other videogame, if not more.
It's weird to me. I could write a goddamn thesis on why Elder Scrolls games are poor videogames, but I still love them a whole lot and I can sink countless hours into them.
While I was talking to Sheogorath...

sometimes bugs are features
Sheogorath? That's normal for him.
i love the cheese and shit slowly rolling in the background
Finished Oblivion (including Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles). That's four out of five TES games in a row done with. All that's left is Skyrim. I'd write about how I'd compare Oblivion to the previous three games now that I've actually played the first two games and did it recently enough to keep them fresh in my memory as I play the sequels, but I'm sleepy as fuck right now. Also, I've spent so much time on Morrowind and Oblivion these past few weeks that I've almost forgotten what playing Arena and Daggerfall was like. Suffice it to say, while I love, have loved, and always will love Oblivion, it's most certainly not the best game in the series. Goodnight.
I fucking give up trying to get Immersive Animations to work. I don't know how someone can fuck up files that simply get dropped into the animation folder to replace vanilla animations but I can never get the shit to work no matter what files I use off the guys Nexus page. I'm not the only one with this problem either. They're installed, they're in the right place, I have Dual Sheath Redux, they should just fucking work. They don't.

You may need to generate FNIS but I'm assuming you've done this
You may need to generate FNIS but I'm assuming you've done this
You don't need FINS for the actual animations, just to fix an issue with weapon placement on the XP32 skeleton which is a general issue for all animation mods that use an advanced skeleton.
Regardless, I have.

You're installing it incorrectly. It goes animations, dual sheath redux, skeleton, run fnis.

Well it's not completely out of character.
You're installing it incorrectly. It goes animations, dual sheath redux, skeleton, run fnis.
I'm not. For one, I'm using Mod Organizer so it doesn't matter what order I install it in. Two, XP32 is the last file in my MO list so it's taking precedence over every other possible skeleton I could have, which is none. The order it's all in is XP32 > Immersive > DSR.
Did you run the patcher for dual sheath redux after the animations were installed?

Yes.

Mod manager doesn't mean jack shit. If you don't install it so the skeleton is last it'll fuck up everything.
Trust me, I spent an hour trying to figure it out.
Your load order isn't your concern right now. It's what order you install the mods.
Well it's not completely out of character.
I think Sheogorath is one of my favorite characters from Skyrim. (I mean, I get he's in the other games, but I've only played the one...) At least one of the most entertaining ones, certainly.

Then it's fine.
You can just reorder the mods in Mod Organizer as you want, as if you had to install stuff in a specific order or want X texture pack to override Y. It's awesome. Regardless, it's fine. The skeleton already has been working with other mods anyway and it's the highest priority mod in the list.

I love how he's got that 'charming' Lewis Caroll type of insanity, but will still fuck you up if you piss him off. I think he's best in Oblivion, not only because he's in his element but because that's really his biggest appearance.

Teeeeeeechnically not the same person though.
Technically it is, Mantling is a retroactive thing as it's an inherent part of the reality, while Time is just something that was added as an afterthought because it sounded useful at the time.

I imagine him yelling "CHEESE!" as he glitches to his destination and it's twice as funny

You should be able to play it assuming you're dual-booting windows, and it looks like you might be because your post says windows 7.

Don't worry, I got it to work and tried to make a guide on it, among how to install a bunch of other mods.

Then you're out of luck unless you put windows on your mac, skyrim is only available for windows and consoles. The good news though is your laptop will probably run skyrim pretty decent if you put windows on it.
