Hey guys
hey
hey guys
guys
I got an idea guys
why not
guys really
why not just ignore TESO since it's, like, not cannon anyway and, like, not inhibiting the next TES game since it's, like, not being made by BGS.
It's only been two years and three months since Skyrim came out, which means that any new core TES game is in pre-production at best. It was five years between Morrowind and Oblivion and Oblivion and Skyrim. Keep your pants on.

Buy a Collector's Edition of TESO, get a statue of the King of Rape for your nightstand. Eh, I'll pass.
Reinstalled Skyrim and I'm about to be a badass xenophobic nord.
FUCK DARK ELVES YO'
why not just ignore TESO
Or not. I like complaining about TESO. If it wasn't for that I'd be complaining about work or politics or religion instead.
Besides, if we don't complain about TESO, who's to say they won't make TES6 just like it? Why wouldn't they, if the only feedback they get is positive?

did molag bal always look like skeletor
Didn't the Nords and Dark Elves war for aaaaaaages as well?
Solstheim has been a source of conflict for eons but I guess in Skyrim they set their differences apart when Vvanderfell blew up.
A friend of mine plays Skyrim with so many hardcore/realism mods that every time he tells me about his experiences I get the impression that he rather plays S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Skyrim.

In its current state I can imagine the Nords saying "Fuck it. Your problem now."
did molag bal always look like skeletor
Molag Bal is supposed to look like some kind of half-bull-half-reptile creature and they just flat out made him some kind of "rarr look at all my spikes and evil stuff cuz I'm a demon" thing.
He has skulls on his balls.

I'm going to be honest, Shick has a great voice for narrating, provided he puts a bit more emphasis on his voice.
The only reason the factions are what they are is because they:
1. Wanted a 3x3 arrangement
2. Wanted the map to work out cleanly

Logic was the least of their concerns.
The Ebonheart pact has the largest territory with some of the best fighters in the series' lore (remember, Mehrunes Dagon actually had to stop his invasion of Black Marsh because the Argonians had gotten themselves up into such a huge hist-induced frenzy they were the ones invading Oblivion). If they ever did actually put aside their hatred of each other and teamed up to take over Tamriel, they'd probably win. It's a good thing they hate each other too much to ever team up. Oh wait...
Don't forget playable Robots from the Future for whatever side Her Majesty KINMUNE is on.
Which reminds me of something I ponder on sometimes.
Because PELINAL is from the future, does that mean PELINAL mantled CoC or did CoC mantle PELINAL because PELINAL got to the past?
Does it even matter because they're the same after mantling anyway?
And could PELINAL have been built to mimic CoC?
We don't question Michael Kirkbride or his writings, mostly because he's batshit insane.
I think TES would work well in multiplayer if it used private hosting or dedicated servers. For every server/host you've got a new character to make.
So like.. If I joined a player I'd need to create a new character and play in a world that's already been affected by his adventuring (some quests are done, some villages are burnt down, all the birds are dead...)
Then I could play my own game in which I'm a different character. Other players could join me as my companions, business partners or murder targets.
They could just do drop in/drop out co-op. Have it so your friends can bring their save into your world as a mercenary or something. The main problem to deal with would be death and accidental cheating by duplication when saves are out of sync. There's no point in putting in intentional cheating protection because it's still mostly a singleplayer game and there's console commands.

Bethesda is very set in how they want to make their games, despite massive fan requests for multiplayer elements in TES games they've always refused to include anything of the sort because it would take development time away from other aspects. It's nonsense to worry about them making the next TES game like ESO

All things considered, that's actually a pretty cool design. I almost wouldn't mind it as an official redesign.

I wasn't referring to the presence of multiplayer, but about everything else about ESO people are here are complaining about. Like Alinor looking like a Skyrim fort, etc. Sorry I wasn't clearer about that.

I'm aware, I know exactly what you're saying and that's what I'm disagreeing with. The point of the multiplayer example was not to demonstrate they'd keep multiplayer out, but that they're not going to change their game because of what people tell them to do. They're especially not going to make it more like ESO if by some miracle it's successful.

I just hope you're right.

I just feel like after 20 years (btw happy 20 years of TES) this series is about as sturdy as can be and although sometimes I miss features from old games I enjoy each new TES game more than the last. I just hope they keep that up and another 10 years from now the series is still going strong.
did molag bal always look like skeletor
Molag Bal is supposed to look like a half bull/half reptile humanoid demon.
Aka this

or this

Instead they made him look like this

I should probably check the next page before I reply to someone a page back.
To be honest Skyrim has reached such a level of basic, straight-foward gameplay that it's pretty much impossible for them to simplify the game even more.
I really wonder how the next TES game will turn out.
guys who cares what molag bal looks like he's a daedric prince they basically look however they want to in the moment.
If sheogorath wanted to be a loli foxgirl in tes 6 nobody would stop him.
the Daedra have favorite forms that they usually adhere to, if you're going to change his looks you need a reason other than "lol cuz he's a dadric lord fuck u"
and also it's a big deal because it's yet another example of ZaniMax Online changing shit for no reason

The Ebonheart's goals don't make much sense either. Their goal is to maintain their independence, Morrowind doesn't even need an alliance to do this, even from what little time I had in the Beta I talked to a Dunmer who referenced when Vivec flooded all of Morrowind to expel the Akaviri raiders and he did this recently. The Nords have literally no reason to want independence at this time, they'd practically consider themselves as the Empire. As for Black Marsh and Morrowind's alliance, I'm willing to buy them working together if only due to the fact that the area isn't united and certain chiefs, warlords, or kings are providing troops and aren't the ones being enslaved. The problem is they don't even attempt to subvert the blaring issues the alliance has with any of that reasoning.

What reason did shivering isles give for Sheogorath changing into an old man with a totally new outfit?
[editline]31st January 2014[/editline]
TESo is shit for changing things but there's really nothing stopping Molag Bal from going through a teen emo phase in the second era and going all spikes and skulls.
focus on what matters like the unsexy flame atronatchs.

Kind of disappointed you don't get to see Jyggalag in Skyrim.
[sp]He's the hero of Kvatch[/sp]
What no, he has a new outfit in shivering isles with no explanation because he's a daedric prince he doesn't need one, that happens AFTER his redesign.

Except Shivering Isles didn't really change his look that much.

wearing a different set of clothes is entirely different than changing how he looks entirely
if you weren't told that the ESO Molag Bal was Molag Bal you would literally have no idea
