Best part about Redguard is the fact that the game has a weird glitch with the edges of the world looking like gigantic spikes, and instead of fixing it or pretending it didn't exist, the devs straight up acknowledged spike-waters as a full part of the official lore.

Here's hoping they make it free like arena and daggerfall eventually.
So i went trekking through the net, looking for some sweet ass armour to kit myself in
Basically TES is for me, what barbie dress up games are for girls
65% of my ingame time is spent picking armour PURELY FOR AESTHETICS
But i digress.
Below are some of the best i found

Let me tell you.
it's hella' hard to find female armor that isn't a steel bikini
Has it been confirmed that Nirn is a sphere? Can you see a curvature in it, and has anyone ever circumnavigated it?
Has it been confirmed that Nirn is a sphere? Can you see a curvature in it, and has anyone ever circumnavigated it?
The imperial library says that Nirn is technically not a sphere and is just a plane of existence that the mortal eye perceives as round.
Does the ESO downloader allow me to say where I want the game installed or is zenimax too fucking retarded
The "downloader" install let me choose where to install the downloader but the game keeps wanting to look for the C drive.

What is Nirn?
Nirn (Ehnofex for 'Arena') is a finite ball of matter and magic made from all of the god planets at the beginning of time, when Lorkhan tricked/convinced/forced the gods to create the mortal plane. Nirn is the mortal plane and the mortal planet, which is the same thing. Its creation upset the cosmic balance; now all souls (especially the Aedra-Daedra/Gods-Demons) have a vested interest in Nirn (especially its starry heart, Tamriel).

What's so special about Tamriel? Do the other continents shake their fists in envy at it?
What's so special about Tamriel? Do the other continents shake their fists in envy at it?
There are I think 5 known continents in TES, and out of them 3 are either destroyed or uninhabited.
Wow, Nirn sounds like a sucky place to live unless you're Skaal.

Were the Skaal even represented in previous games?

actually 3/5 are inhabited - tamriel of course, akavir by various races, and pyandonea by the maormer
Were the Skaal even represented in previous games?
morrowind was where they first appeared AFAIK
Yes! One of my favourite group of LP's are playing Skyrim

Tamriel (continent)
Pyandonea (Island-continent, home of Maomer)
Yokuda (former continent, most of it sunk, now a group of islands, former home of Redguard and Left-handed elves)
Atmora (Home of the nedic people, ancestors of Nords, Imperials and Bretons, likely has no life due to eternal winter)
Akavir (Home of Kamal, Tsaesci, Tang Mo and Ka Po' Tun possibly among others)
Then there's the other, smaller places that so far haven't been that significant.
Cathnoquey (Island)
Esroniet (Island)
Roscrea (Island)
Thras (Group of islands, home of Sloads, sunk)
Yneslea (Island)
Anyone know of that combat mod some facepuncher was making for Skyrim? I would love to play with it.
no clothing and clutter fixes or weapons and armor fixes? this is unacceptable.
And no Sky UI
What's so special about Tamriel?
Tamriel is the "Starry Heart" of Nirn.
That's about all that's been said.
I guess when in doubt, blame TalOS.

They're not using mods so no-one could say the bugs they find were caused by them. Plus they've never used mods in any of their LPs other then Mass Effect(s) to change the FOV.
And no Sky UI
The guy playing gets frustrated about his lack of Sky UI :v:

If you are going to do a LP on Skyrim, they should atleast do one with a fuck-ton of mods. Funny ones.
Well they play the games to talk about the games in mostly serious ways. So using mods would kind of defeat the point.
Besides they usually end up having hilarious shit happening without mods in their LPs. Two crazy bugs happen during the prologue of Skyrim in that video.
I highly recommend watch their earlier LPs

It doesn't feel like an Elder Scrolls game. It doesn't play like one, and it really doesn't have anywhere near the depth of one.
Tell me, though... What exactly does an Elder Scrolls game FEEL like? Because every Elder Scrolls game to date has been drastically different. Without the overarching storyline and universe, they would all be entirely different games.
Arena was a dungeon crawler, in true dungeon crawler style. Catacombs. Tunnels. The bizarre movement. It did nothing to set itself apart from everything else at the time, aside from being a 3D RPG (It did introduce the ability to explore towns, however). The combat system was more similar to Legend of Grimrock than any other Elder Scrolls game.
Daggerfall was much the same, but used more mouse controls than Arena. It also introduced a third-person perspective and character creation.
Morrowind, the "Gold Standard" of the series, revolutionized EVERYTHING. Story, graphics, interface, controls, quests, EVERYTHING. There is no smooth transition from the precursors to Morrowind. However, it still had its flaws. Turn-based, RPG combat being one of them. The journal system being the other. It also added new armor customization, spell customization. Loads of skills were removed and condensed into broader ones. It was also the first fully open-world Elder Scrolls game, something completely unprecedented at the time.
Oblivion, the "letdown", was set in Medieval England... Or some place like that. It had repetitive dungeons and caves. The combat was simplified. Skills were cut and condensed, again. It had physics for the first time in the series, and fast travel was reintroduced. Armor and weapon groups were also simplified. It did have the first physical damage system of the series, which was huge.
Finally, Skyrim returns to the familiar linearity of Arena and Daggerfall. Skills cut, combat simplified, armor simplified, weapons removed. However, they did a great deal better with the environment than Oblivion. They also completely removed the class system, and introduced a perks-based system. The interface was redesigned, they implemented an entirely new spell system, brought back dual-wielding, added shouts... And that doesn't even scratch the surface of how different a game Skyrim was than anything before it.
So, I ask again, what exactly does an Elder Scrolls game feel like? What exactly IS an Elder Scrolls game? Because every Elder Scrolls game has been its own thing, with its own rules and its own mechanics. We can't just say something doesn't feel like an Elder Scrolls game, because no Elder Scrolls game has delivered a consistent standard of gameplay, of feeling.
If you don't believe me, go play them.
euughh I hate it when I go to try and play Skyrim but see my character doesn't look right and end up spending the next 6 hours looking for armor mods

What, Daggerfall is by fair the most open, complex game in the series.
I'm shocked at how big of a mess the rest of your post is. Arena has character creation (you meant class creation) Daggerfall did not have a third person view (lolwut), Morrowind's combat IS NOT TURN BASED, there are transitions between Daggerfall and Morrowind, they're called battlespire and redguard.
Maybe you should play the games or something before telling us to, you get a lot wrong.

You do realize Morrowind and Daggerfall are near identical mechanically right? And Daggerfall INTRODUCED the elder scrolls skill system of doing what you want to get better at, as well as having pretty much the same skillset as MW, barring a few changes. Combat in DF was MORE complex considering you had 5 different swing types that had different chances to hit and damage values based on weapon type and your skill (although a starter character in Daggerfall could hit more consistently than morrowind but that's just value tweaks)

Besides the spinoffs like Redguard, the elder scrolls games are all open world rpgs with a flexible character creator allowing you to play anybody you want, in a mostly or entirely first person perspective, with an original high fantasy setting in which you explore towns, get both main and side story missions, and hope you don't crash cause they're all buggy as shit.
And starting with daggerfall they all have skills that level with use and not arbitrary points.
