Are there any decent mods that consistently alter the FOV of skyrim and Oblivion ? Doing it with the console is fine but in skyrim every time I relaunch the game and open the inventory it resets the fov back to 75 which is inconvenient and in Oblivion it resets back to 75 every single time I switch the camera between first and third person.
Seriously, I fucking hate Dawnguard. If it wasn't for all the cool archery shit I would have uninstalled it ages ago.
Huh, why?
And here I was thinking they wouldn't make the Khajiit look as bad as they did in Oblivion. Looks like clay.
ESO Khajiit are more Prequel-esque than they've ever been. [t]http://puu.sh/6hAG3[/t] Just look at this round head!

I finally decided to play as my new ESO character. When I first got in the game a huge message saying "Server maintenance in 5 minutes". I've still got to say ESO has 3 good things about it: 1. The character creation menu 2. The music 3. The fact that your tail actually moves, rather than being a static object with no personality. They still do the whole "glue the tail up your character's asshole"-thing, though. My character's name is "Treelicking Salmon", by the way. Just in case I continue playing the beta.
Server shutdown? Fixing the loads perhaps?
I'll never be done with this before the Beta session ends Gotta love these Weekend long beta sessions with a giant ass game which they only give you the key for shortly before it starts

You had technically 3 days to download it.
Alright, that too. But main event that Dawnguard is supposed to sell you on sucks so badly and makes me sick.
Still don't know what you're talking about. The only real bad part of Dawnguard was the random vampire attacks wiping out NPCs in towns.
Alright, that too. But main event that Dawnguard is supposed to sell you on sucks so badly and makes me sick.
What, you mean [sp]killing harkon[/sp]? Or do you mean [sp]the lore it involves on how the first vampires were created[/sp]? Because that is disturbing
I sent a support ticket about how my setup would be stuck on the "Creating Directories" part of it (Which was solved rather shortly after) And then this was my response 10/10 reading support, i said SETUP, not SIGNUP
they could be doing the valve thing where they have the robot send the first message
Still don't know what you're talking about. The random vampire attacks are the worst though when you're the kind of person who needs to babysit the whole damn world. Is anyone else getting error 103 when trying to log in?
Probably the server maintenance.
Oh ok it's down.
I dunno man, they were giving out keys on the 4th. You had technically 3 days to download it.
With this speed, even 3 days wouldn't have been enough

I kept her around after I finished Dawnguard for ages because she's the only follower who didn't just die constantly :v:
Pretty much anything involving TES vampires and Molag Bal makes me sick.
Totally understandable, but you know, I think that's the point. We're not supposed to like Molag Bal, the guy's like the most unquestionably evil deity in TES.

So I don't like being saddled with her. Again, you can't kill her for the Elder Scroll at the beginning of the questline and stop a whole bunch of bullshit at the beginning and I don't care if she asks me nicely not to kill Harkon when you first meet him I want to shove Dawnbreaker up his arse I'm the goddamn Dragonborn no vampire bitch tells me what to do. Seriously, never write a game where you can encounter the main enemy early in the questline when the player can be at stupidly high levels and the guy isn't even a projection or behind something study. If your followers are constantly dying you really suck at the game, only thing you need to be wary of is the occassional time where they straight-up leap into the path of your sword, or errantly throwing AoE destruction spells. I know you're probably not meant to like Molag Bal, but it's still a subject matter I want to stay far, far away from in my escapism.
If your followers are constantly dying you really suck at the game, only thing you need to be wary of is the occassional time where they straight-up leap into the path of your sword, or errantly throwing AoE destruction spells.
except followers level cap at when you met them, and most will only level to a max of like 30, so it's actually very likely and very common for followers to die a lot if you're like 50 and up.
Just pre-ordered the imperial edition!
except followers level cap at when you met them, and most will only level to a max of like 30, so it's actually very likely and very common for followers to die a lot if you're like 50 and up.
Aren't all permanant followers at least Protected? Besides, Frea > Serana in terms of ability, plus no ash piles everywhere to cause save file bloat and prevent looting.
I hate Serana, a lot, and she's a constant reminder of the things that make me sick. So I don't like being saddled with her.
Fair enough, I guess.
Again, you can't kill her for the Elder Scroll at the beginning of the questline and stop a whole bunch of bullshit at the beginning
Well, it seems kinda like a dick move to kill someone because something bad happened to them that you don't wanna think about.
and I don't care if she asks me nicely not to kill Harkon when you first meet him I want to shove Dawnbreaker up his arse I'm the goddamn Dragonborn no vampire bitch tells me what to do.
Well I mean if they let you do that a lot of other things would not happen that would leave you missing out on what is basically the point of the expansion character-building wise.
Seriously, never write a game where you can encounter the main enemy early in the questline when the player can be at stupidly high levels and the guy isn't even a projection or behind something study.
That's the nature of it being an expansion, but why not let them encounter the main villain early? Skyrim does that too, with alduin. Most of everything will show you the villain early on because it gives you a sense of purpose to what you're trying to achieve. I get that it's different when you're already a high level but hypothetically there's a tonne of gargoyles, hellhounds, and thousand year old vampires in there. You probably shouldn't be able to fight it alone head on in that situation.
If your followers are constantly dying you really suck at the game, only thing you need to be wary of is the occassional time where they straight-up leap into the path of your sword, or errantly throwing AoE destruction spells.
Or maybe I'm better than you at it but I'm playing on legendary? Seriously this is where your post kinda devolved from nonsensical to childish but whatever.
I know you're probably not meant to like Molag Bal, but it's still a subject matter I want to stay far, far away from in my escapism.
Once again, fair enough.
So, anything I should know before installing the Unofficial Skyrim Patch? I have some conflicting mods that alter some specific objects, but I guess having those load after the patches would solve it. Also, the patches have to be below the expansions (and therefore load after them) to have it work properly, right? [editline]8th February 2014[/editline] (and on a side note, which one was the good Oblivion face mod? I do not recall its name.)
Aren't all permanant followers at least Protected? Besides, Frea > Serana in terms of ability, plus no ash piles everywhere to cause save file bloat and prevent looting.
Frea fucking wrecks everything in her path. She's one of the best followers imo.
I was bored while waiting for the ESO server to pop back up again, so I made this while waiting: [t]http://i.minus.com/iDRmT5P8tpH78.png[/t] I am the worst drawer, I can't even store clothes!
