Anyway I really hope TESVI takes place in Hammerfell. It's such a cool place, I really want to begin exploring it.
While Hammerfell would be pretty cool, I think it'd be amazing to make the next game take place in Elsweyr with it's vast deserts and jungles. It'd be a tough choice.

I dunno, if we get to import Morrowind saves it could be Nerevarine again, with what immortality and disease immunity.
So is C0da a graphic novel which is getting a physical release or is it purely a free online thing? From what I understand it's a graphic novel set in a future era by Kirkbride meaning it's probably gonna be batshit insane.
Also there's a clock counting down for a day now and other bits of story and art.

If they were to do Elsweyr, they'd HAVE to include Valenwood in it too. Otherwise the game would probably be too small. Elsweyr is half the size of Skyrim if I recall correctly.
Otherwise, I'd totally agree. I'm more for Hammerfell, but i'd be just as happy with Elsweyr.

Well, the preview script sounds like it's an animation or a comic or a tv show or something from the cues.
Also, there's magicka happening in /tgesg/ (/tg/'s Elder Scrolls General thread)

Masser.

Also c0da just updated with OPEN IT, MUTHSERA. LET ME SEE. and some links. You also find some other stuff if you go to the root sites.

Provided it's got the good kind of Kirkbride madness - the kind we saw with Morrowind - I'm more than happy.
However, given it's Kirkbride, I have doubts.

Actually, Kirkbride forced them to change it to Secunda. It was one of his stipulations for helping them. "All these planets are yours, except for Masser. Attempt no modding there."

Well c0da is rumored to be about the 9th era, of this Kalpa or the last no one knows but is also meant to explain the dwemer disappearance. Even if it's rampant Kirkbride madness it at least seems to have some amount of art being made for it so we'll at least get some pretty pictures out of it.
Project Masser I have no idea about though.

I guess that explains the name change in the slideshows.

Pretty great theory, but a hole in it is that if you are in Coldharbor, then you should be getting progressively paler as time goes on.
Anyone got an explanation for that?
Alright I'll try not spam this thread with c0da updates but MY FAMILY HAS SEEN BETTER DAYS. It appears to be updating every half an hour with new links and sayings.

The Daedric prince uses magic to cover that up?
The Daedric prince uses magic to cover that up?
molag bal applies makeup to you while you're sleeping to darken your skin tone
never heard of that
are you sure that's even a thing
Yes, it is. That's why, for instance, Cadwell is so pale.
Yes, it is. That's why, for instance, Cadwell is so pale.
Caldwell?
If that's a character from ESO, it could be that his getting paler is a device to make people think that they're in the real Tamriel.

It's not just him, either. Although, I'd be hesitant to just conclude that it's the Daedric magic y'all because a really good fan theory doesn't make loose justifications and stretches like that.
Anyway, I doubt the writers would be so smart as to make the story something like that :v:

I have no idea what's happening, I randomly clicked on the links in the last posts and all I could see was the most beautifully psychedelic texts and images I've ever seen. I'm quite confused right now, but I've got this amazing feeling that something great is about to happen.
I want an elder scrolls game where instead of being driven by the gods to do some heroic shit a lost daedric lord straight-up contacts you and gives you unholy powers so you can rampage through everything and trigger the end of the world and the nine divines directly oppose you through the game.
And the further you go into the MQ the more everything gets fucked up and destroyed.
c0da now has ascii character indices in decimal which decode to
H I S N A M E I S A L A N D R O S U L
I would buy that game so damn hard.
Thing with TES is, they've pretty much built giant safeguards to explain any sort of plot discrepancy between games. They could totally have a game set in what at first appears to be regular Tamriel, but the more you go through it the clearer it appears that you are actually in a really, really fucked up plane of Oblivion that imitates Tamriel (after all Molag Ball totally recreated his own version of Tamriel in his own plane of oblivion, except it's filled with goo, blood and the white gold tower is made of feces), and the whole place became such a massive mindfuck that other daedric lords straight-up ask you to make the entire world you live in get crushed into non-existence, to make sure it doesn't interfere with the actual tamriel.
I just want a TES plot to be an absolute mindfuck that makes you loop over the same events several time, fuck around with the worldspace as much as possible (imagine doing a main quest dungeon, and coming out of it only to find out that the whole word is upside down, with you walking on a ground made of clouds and the sky being made of dirt and rocks. Wouldn't that be fucking amazing ?), and force you to delve into more and more horrors as you go by.
Or have a game be set in an unspecified era, and have the main quest be about the huge entity that created the world in its dreams start slowly waking up, fucking up reality in the process, and your quest is to make it fall back asleep, learning CHIM in the process and pretty much finishing the MQ as a god yourself.
TES has the ability to have a more interesting environment than something like Planescape available in its lore, but they will never utilize it fully in their games.
Which is a shame really because a lot of elements of the TES lore are pretty much a fantasy variance of Event Horizon.
