So basically throw Kirkbride at the plot machine until it chokes, then unclog it and put the clog at the ending? Though CHIM would not fit in the game, because if the player doesn't get it it wouldn't be worth it in my opinion. And a lot of the players either don't have a clue or know of the console and worldbuilder crap. [editline]13th February 2014[/editline] And trying to explain CHIM to players during the game so you could put it in? 36 teachings.
You don't have to say it's CHIM. You can just essentially turn the PC into a godly entity through the main quest, and have NPCs heavily imply it's CHIM. People who know what it is will get it, people who don't won't be frustrated by the missed reference.
Actually now that I think of it, the structure of CHIM is basically a rip-off of Planescape. :v:
chim belongs at the sidelines of the games, don't let the player come near it, it's best as a clusterfuck of a mystery
I just want a TES plot to be an absolute mindfuck that makes you loop over the same events several time, fuck around with the worldspace as much as possible (imagine doing a main quest dungeon, and coming out of it only to find out that the whole word is upside down, with you walking on a ground made of clouds and the sky being made of dirt and rocks. Wouldn't that be fucking amazing ?)
Also this was done in Fallout 3 during Point Lookout.
Also this was done in Fallout 3 during Point Lookout.
I know, and it was easily the best part of fallout 3, all DLCs considered.
What if the reason Bethesda is approving c0da and explaining the mystery of the Dwemer disappearance is because they're gonna reboot TES into a new Kalpa? Todds talked about rebooting the series for awhile now and the MMO seems like a good enough reason to try it even if it is non-canon or on Coldharbour.
I want an elder scrolls game where instead of being driven by the gods to do some heroic shit a lost daedric lord straight-up contacts you and gives you unholy powers so you can rampage through everything and trigger the end of the world and the nine divines directly oppose you through the game. And the further you go into the MQ the more everything gets fucked up and destroyed.
eww
21gb update on ESO Am I redownloading the game or is the beta on again?

You do some pretty evil things in sidequests from murder to thievery, but the main storyline is always about saving the world in some way or form
The book of homies makes me think someone made a gangbanger companion mod.
The book of homies makes me think someone made a gangbanger companion mod.
They did, actually.

Sorry about posting more c0da shit but this one seems kind of important. Look at the daedric in the bottom left. [t]http://i.imgur.com/YziO8Tt.png[/t] TEM DESIGNATE: MORROWIND II
im confused at this coda shit is it an arg?
im confused at this coda shit is it an arg?
ARG leading up to a graphic novel by Kirkbride set in the 9th Era which apparently explains a lot of TES myths and mysteries including the disappearance of the dwemer. But that Morrowind 2 thing seems awfully interesting. http://c0da.es/
I wonder if its explanations will be canonical/at least won't be contradicted.
I think it's safe to say that Kirkbride and Co are developing a canon based on but separate from Bethesda's at this point. Which is fine because Bethesda doesn't get too dirty with the details anymore so they really just complement one another.
Close enough to the real thing? [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7211550/Images/Gaems/72850_2014-02-13_00002.png[/t] Oh, and Book of Homies is part of Extended Follower Framework. I think. And that 'totally lore-friendly' mod I exhibited last page is here
that armor retexture or whatever that is looks terrible
I wonder if its explanations will be canonical/at least won't be contradicted.
To be perfectly honest I don't think what happened to the Dwemer should be explained. They fucked with powers beyond their comprehension and they paid for it, that's all anybody seems to know in-universe and knowing more than that would spoil that aura of mystery everything of theirs has.

So that Morrowind II thing might of been slightly off http://www.reddit.com/r/teslore/comments/1xuy68/follow_me/
The Canon Wars End Forever in...12 hours. Get a head start! Post your contributions to C0DA large and small! Hell, post your own C0DA all up in The C0DA before it comes out! Sequel to Morrowind? Too small. This is the Sequel to the Elder Scrolls Universe.
So I actually got around to reading through the 36 Lessons of Vivec, despite their lengthiness and my low attention span. I love the jabs they take at the Dwemer.
Nothing was of any use, and the egg of Vivec remained safe within her. A Dwemer said, 'Nothing is of any use. We must go and misinterpret this.'

Vivec was removed from her womb and placed within a magical glass for further study. To confound his captors, he channeled his essence into love, an emotion the Dwemer knew nothing about.
It's the entire reason the White-Gold Concordat even became a thing, since it was ripped directly from MK's texts. Also, the Third Aldmeri Dominion, the Thalmor, shouting at people, and the first Alduin timewarp all had a place in some bizarre fanfic he wrote. Skyrim was HEAVILY influenced by MK, perhaps more than Oblivion.
