After owning Skyrim since the day it came out, I finally beat the main questline!
I still haven't finished the main questline myself :v: Too much modding has made me do much more interesting things.
I still haven't finished the main questline myself :v: Too much modding has made me do much more interesting things.
Quite the contrary for me, I can't find any mods which add anything longer than a single dungeon and some badly spelled journals.
Dovahkiin is climbing a mountain, why is he climbing a mountain?
- well, christ, *that* shit was just embarassing -
Dovahkiin is climbing a mountain, why is he climbing a mountain?
Because Todd Howard asked if he saw that mountain over there.
Quite the contrary for me, I can't find any mods which add anything longer than a single dungeon and some badly spelled journals.
There are a ton of mods which do better than that. Not sure why you aren't able to find them.
They always seem to be showing sheogorath as a harmless joker. Maybe for the next game his quests won't be so funny. Not to say that we need some kind of psychologically traumatic experience for every sheogorath... We need a load of sheogorath quests of extreme variety. And for giggles and shits: any ideas for quests befitting the prince of madness and creativity?
And for giggles and shits: any ideas for quests befitting the prince of madness and creativity?
none
How do I create a decent theif/mage char in Oblivion and how do I play it? I don't really wanna use a bow cause it's too easy and will make magic less useful :v:
Aren't bows extremely underpowered in Oblivion? Or is that because everything gets extremely underpowered in Oblivion after a while?
Nexus' staff.
Staff that has a random effect of turning you into a shitty catgirl/boy race or turning your characters armor into the skimpy version, oiling them up, and randomizing breast size.
After being way too curious, I took a trip to the terrifying place known as loverslab. On the positive side, nexus doesn't look too bad any more, but now I've managed to burn several disturbing images onto my optical nerve. Could anyone be so kind to provide me a tutorial on how to surgically remove a bit of the part of the brain that handles visual memory using a normal sewing needle?
Aren't bows extremely underpowered in Oblivion? Or is that because everything gets extremely underpowered in Oblivion after a while?
Well I'm sure it's easier to do stealth with bow than with melee.

Hehe, Lover Slab...
I just got Morrowind, planning to try it out. Never played it before, what's the best type of character (mage, theif, warrior etc) for a newbie to play? And should I get any mods for my first playthrough (graphic mods or whatever)?
Read the last page. I suggest playing through modded. Not modded in the sense that you add a bunch of wacky armors, spells/questlines (though there are a ton of EXCELLENT questlines for Morrowind to download like The Black Mill, Wizard Islands, etc), but in that you add a nice chunk of improvements to the base gameplay to make it better. Like the Living Cities of Vvardenfel mod that makes it so NPC's aren't just static around town but they show up at inns at night, lock their doors, and other such things like in Oblivion/Skyrim, or Balmora expanded (though that one might be a bit of a stretch). Get the graphics extender and some lightwieght mods that fix/improve the game. Check http://www.mwmythicmods.com under the telephoros and empirical morrowind mod lists for some great mods to try that fit that. I would avoid getting mods that add a bunch of stuff though for your first run through. If you want a pure vanilla experience, AT LEAST you must get the mod that disables Tribunal/Bloodmoon from activating until you have enough "fame" (aka, beat the MQ, become a certain level, get enough gold, or become a guild leader), since those expansions assume you already beat the base game when you install them, but they add a bunch of essential functionality to the game so its not like you can play without them either. [editline]3rd June 2013[/editline] Also, mage builds are super powerful late game but super weak and squishy for the most of it, you have to know what you are doing and be pretty good at taking advantage of Morrowind's magic/alchemy/enchant/etc system to do good with it early on. It's one of the hardest builds to do in Morrowind (pure mage). Battlemages on the otherhand are much simpler and much easier to handle, despite having to juggle using magic and fighting. Theifs are very hard in Morrowind partially because the stealth system (without mods) sucks and its not as refined as Skyrim. The best classes to play in Morrowind are going to be hybrids between fighters/ranged/magic, or basically any class that isn't totally worthless with a weapon one-on-one. I've had a lot of luck focusing on a few weapon types with heavy armor, but then also having a small handful of magic skills I use lightly to augment my damage dealing capabilities.
oh man loverslab, I feel sorry for you, going in without a hazmat suit
I once had to go there to get a patch for P-Froggy's First Person Body mod to make it compatible with the body replacer I was using. I felt like I was in a parking garage making a transaction with some shady guy. Doesn't help that I did it in Chrome's incognito mode.

I enjoy that, it breaks up the gloom-n-doom end-of-the-world stuff TES games tend to have a lot of.
where's that morrowind mod that disables the assassins and shit until you're famous
The sad thing is that most modders at loverslab are good and yet they devote themselves to... those mods.
The assassins always seem to balance themselves out They are pissfuck annoying and kill you on the rare occasion, but at the same time you can loot them for precious swag. Mind you I find if I keep sleeping in the same location, their bodies seem to chock up after a while.
I wish there were more mods inspired by Warhammer Fantasy. I really want to roleplay as a Nurgle Plague Knight.
I wish there were more mods inspired by Warhammer Fantasy. I really want to roleplay as a Nurgle Plague Knight.
There's a 40k mod so you can at least be a Space marine in Skyrim.
[t]http://horobox.co.uk/u/Reag_1370382116.jpg[/t] Kitty.
That is a horrible character. Let me count the ways: 1: Her arms will be chopped off or into every single combat encounter. 2: A corset is a terrible choice in combat attire. Do you know how hard it is to breathe in those things? 3: Wear some pants please or maybe a kilt or that crap Romans would wear. 4: FUCKING CAT GIRL 5: Not lore friendly at all. Ever. Now go sit in the corner and thing about your life. I feel like posting my dude now: [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/903242312840251782/5DF1EBF60383D5524A09983920929FBE3D656586/[/t] Conjuration is still the best school of magic.
