So do saves take up memory/ affect skyrim's performance? I have every save in this game all the way back to the first one I had which is at a year now.
They seem too. On my char I just posted above, I crash now, every so often. On new chars, no crashing whatsoever.

Gee myng, why does your game let you have TWO facepaint options?

After playing another 40 hours of Mount and Blade Warband with some expansion mods, i feel TES6 needs way more variety in the items, armor, and weapons. I can spend an hour in-game and come across 500 different kinds of swords with all sorts of damage, look, speed, durability, reach, etc and in Skyrim it feels like... Nord Sword, Glass Sword, Dragon Sword, Steel Sword, Iron Sword, Dwemer-etc I mean vanilla Skyrim is ok in weapons, but it feels very.. gamey with the item variety while the insane variety in other games makes it feel more realistic and believable given the size of the world.
Nexus. [t]http://i.imgur.com/j0a2C9s.jpg[/t] [editline]5th June 2013[/editline]
The PC starts always at size rank 1 (the idea is for you to collect potions so you can "level" up your schlong
Why
Why
why not

This should be the next TES game.
So there is a dynamic dong mod, but no dynamic fitness mod, would of been a better use of dynamic meshes imo wtf nexus [editline]4th June 2013[/editline] Since every is posting their characters, I will repost my mage of the deadliest magic of them all. Gonna get back into TES series. Is there any mod for Skyrim that makes stealth more realistic?
Assload of images incoming. Sorry. Also sorry for the varying image sizes and quality. Figured I'd show the progression of my Nord. He's gone through a lot of outfit changes throughout his career. He has a few hundred hours put into him. Bottom is the most recent. Is there a way of finding out what mods a save was reliant on? I've just got back onto my old character but apparently there are some mods im missing. everything is fine until i save at which point the game crashes, this only happens with my old character and not with fresh ones.
For a second I thought you were holding a sword upside-down.
Yea it's just a nordic short spear, honestly if there was a mod that let me use swords upside down I would totally download it because that would be hilarious to run up to someone and clonk them in the head with it.
Wes Johnson is a pretty cool guy. Made my day.

[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/31/Augsburg_Cod.I.6.4%C2%BA.2_%28Codex_Wallerstein%29_107v.jpg[/t]
I like how you just put the words "legitimate medieval fighting technique" together, come on man this was after the fall of Roman society and if we're going to get all technical people used whatever the fuck they could, ranging from clubs to burning hot liquids. Sure I bet some random fuck used this, and I am sure some random fuck also lost his sword and grabbed someones arm and tried to beat someone with it. I hardly call it a technique and more of "holy shit this guy is too close for me to get my sword around in a quick enough swing so ill just slam the hilt at his face."

The image is but a single diagram from a medieval swordfighting instruction manual. Here's a dude demonstrating the technique.
That doctrine applied to earlier medieval combat as well. Chainmail is savagely underestimated in popular culture, but it was almost impossible to penetrate chainmail & gambeson with any conventional weapon.
Looks like a good way to cut your own hands the moment you hit something but I guess at that point you don't have much of a choice
