Doing that companion quest. My face when I got a skyforge sword. I thought it was a bug but apparently you can do that. Also, I bought Dragonborn and dawngaurd but haven't actaully played the content yet.
Hopefully you didn't pay full price for Dawnguard, it didn't add very much.
You should have acted. They are already here. M'aiq the Liar told of their return. Their defeat was merely delay, until the time after Oblivion opened, when the sons of Skyrim would spill their own blood. But no one wanted to believe, believe they even exist. And when the truth finally dawned, it dawned in fire. But… there is one they fear. In their tongue, he is M'aiq, the liar!
FTFY
Are there any alternatives to RAEVWD? It makes the Imperial City (and possibly other things) invisible for me for some reason.
kind of interesting to think that this was probably intentional. Bethesda no doubt knew that Dragons would play a big role in the next game
"Dragons? Oh, they're everywhere! You must fly very high to see most of them, though. The ones nearer the ground are very hard to see, being invisible." "I have seen dragons. Perhaps you will see a dragon. I won't say where I saw one. Perhaps I did not." "Dragons were never gone. They were just invisible, and very very quiet." Running gag.
Always fun when you run across a problem that is ridiculously obscure. Somehow oblivion is only running once on a clean install before something makes it crash without any esps or esms enabled for me.
has anyone asked a dev about the white gold tower asset able to be seen in Skyrim? i'm curious about it's purpose.
has anyone asked a dev about the white gold tower asset able to be seen in Skyrim? i'm curious about it's purpose.
Wasn't it for when you can see it really far off in the distance?
Wasn't it for when you can see it really far off in the distance?
you can see it far in the distance, but I'm pretty sure only by using the tcl command to fly really high up. I don't think it could be seen from any location (maybe the top of High Hrothgar). I'm just curious why they put it there.
has anyone asked a dev about the white gold tower asset able to be seen in Skyrim? i'm curious about it's purpose.
If I had to guess I'd say that there is somewhere in the game where you can see it (though I don't know where, if at all). In the lore it's noted that the tower can be seen for miles and miles on a clear day. It could also just be an easter egg of sorts I suppose.

I flew up to talk to her at one point, and I can see very far away (although not sure if I can see the Tower)[/sp]

[editline]7th June 2013[/editline] Also, can anyone believe that Skyrim has been out for a year and a half now? Feels like playing New Vegas in 2011 whenever I play Skyrim.
Getting an issue with my ENB's. The sun is shining through everything. Trees, mountains, buildings, everything. I changed bFLoatpointrender or whatever the hell it is to 1, but It's still an issue. It's my biggest issue at the moment. That's interesting. What ENB mod is it? It could be the sunsprite effect (I've never really used it / figured it out yet)
I'm using this one. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25451/? Project MATSO [editline]7th June 2013[/editline] The CoT compatible version I should say. [editline]7th June 2013[/editline] The first time I loaded it up it didn't have that effect, I may have changed something else to cause it but I'm not sure what setting it was that caused this effect. I've been dealing with it for a day or two now. [editline]7th June 2013[/editline] Where would I find the sunsprite effect? [editline]7th June 2013[/editline] God damn it, it might be my nVidia drivers.
I always feel a little strange trying to play an Argonian or Khajiit thief/assasin in Skyrim. There are so few of them around that it seems like it would be easy for guards to find out who you are.
The perfect crime would be getting "plastic surgery" before the start of the game so you look exactly like some random shopkeeper in skyrim
Are there any alternatives to RAEVWD? For me, the latest stable tes4lodgen works fine, but the beta does not. If you don't run tes4lodgen at all you don't get any distant objects.
What's a good name for a super high tempered wooden sword with a fire enchantment placed on it? :v:
The baked stake.
What's a good name for a super high tempered wooden sword with a fire enchantment placed on it? :v:
Barbecuer or BBQer. [editline]8th June 2013[/editline] Barbecue Skew [editline]8th June 2013[/editline] Barbeskew
What's a good name for a super high tempered wooden sword with a fire enchantment placed on it? :v:
The Mighty Faggot.
Is there a way to see what content is missing after removing/changing a mod? I just found out my load order was entirely messed up, and after fixing it Skyrim is now bitching that something is missing (when in reality it's just in a different order)
I really want to start playing Oblivion or Skyrim again, but i've ran out of things to do on both games. I would play on PS3, but unless there are some mods for either game that add lots of new quests/gameplay, then I might play on PC.
A little late for character post but I wanted to post these. One of my characters: Chani, a completely normal not-having-anything-to-do with vampires Redguard She adopted Braith after her parents were notoriously murered by a totally and completely unknown person. I love when people call me pale when I'M A DAMN REDGUARD! [img_thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/HZTD3J.jpg[/img_thumb] I have bigger boobs then Serana too BTW. (No, they are not enhanced by mods) [img_thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/oF49Et.jpg[/img_thumb]
Set my laptop to run Skyrim using Integrated GPU rather than the Nvidia GT640m, lets see how well this runs.
Set my laptop to run Skyrim using Integrated GPU rather than the Nvidia GT640m, lets see how well this runs.
It runs OK on all low on my dell vostro.
Was getting 20fps outdoors, 60fps indoors with everything on low, with textures on medium. I'll just leave playing Skyrim to when i'm sat at a desk. [editline]8th June 2013[/editline] Am I missing any of the Oblivion DLC's? I have the steam version and I cannot find anywhere where it says what version I have. Whats the best mod to improve distant terrain quality? I have Water and Terrain Enhancement Redux and I still see glitchy distant rivers and terrain.
My Nord character at one point. [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/559817564460238106/68BED381EECE5D8FEE83EDE83700C2CF3B19F355/[/t]
If I remember correctly, they ended up upgrading every game of the year edition to that other one that had all of the smaller dlc's in it aswell, so it doesn't matter which one you bought. Do note, I could be horribly wrong.
