If I remember correctly, they ended up upgrading every game of the year edition to that other one that had all of the smaller dlc's in it aswell, so it doesn't matter which one you bought. Do note, I could be horribly wrong.
On the store page they have Oblivion GOTY and Oblivion GOTY Deluxe Edition.
We still post our characters? Well, here's mine in this case. Imperial, lvl 63.
Is there a way to see what content is missing after removing/changing a mod? I just found out my load order was entirely messed up, and after fixing it Skyrim is now bitching that something is missing (when in reality it's just in a different order)
You can check the saves tab in Wrye Bash, red is a missing mod and orange is an incorrect or changed load order (i think)
My Nord character at one point.

Now how do I get down?

Gives me a wildlings vibe from game of thrones

The answer is not jumping as he found out the hard way.

Since I tested both mods, here are my thoughts:
Skyrim Monster Mod
+ a few neat and fitting monsters, Draugr reskins are pretty nice for what they are
+ easier to install, I guess
+ some new items the new monsters drop
+/- does not care about the lore, it just adds more stuff to kill - if that is a plus or minus is for you to decide
- a whole bunch of unfitting monsters, creatures ripped from other games that do not match the artstyle of Skyrim at all
- AI of some monsters didn't work properly (initiating staring contests instead of actually attacking)
- lore friendly patch only keeps lore in mind, stuff that shits on the artstyle stays in (like STALKER creatures)
Skyrim Immersive Creatures v6
+ creatures fit the artsyle and look very good (majority of them), tries to be lore friendly most of the time
+ v6 adds more spawn locations where new random encounters can happen and comes with a mod menu where you can configure them
+ mod menu also lets you select which kinds of creatures do you wish for the game to spawn and which not
+ fun gimmicks like skeletons randomly resurrecting themselves (also configurable)
+ new spells for creatures and the player
+ Dawnguard and Dragonborn stuff
- some monsters are not fitting and really, really silly, humanoid dragons and chaurus being prime examples (not much of a problem since you have the mod menu where you can disable them)
- I was getting crashes on start-up after installing it manually, better install it with Nexus Mod Manager or some other manager like that
I'll be using Immersive Creatures.

Shishkebab?
Also, before I miss the whole post-your-characters thing:

I specced her almost entirely into stamina, so she's weak as hell but can dish out the pain if she strikes first. Also she can run away really easily.
People posting their characters? Count me in!

Neither rain nor sleet nor... Dragons?
I have a question:
I created a custom race with the CK, and I just duplicated the Imperial and changed a few skills and stats. But when I go to character create in game, only the head is visible, the rest of the body is just gone. Any ideas as to why?
EDIT: I think I found it, I forgot to set Armor Race and Morph Race. Will check and report back.
EDIT: Yeap, that was it, thanks.
What's the consensus on the best gameplay overhaul mod? I'm using Reqiuem right now but it pisses me right off that Bandits with hunting bows and iron arrows can kill me in one hit.

Don't install overhaul mods, they're not very good.

This, and bandit mages can cast the strongest spells at level 1.
What armor are you wearing? You can dodge the arrows...
I would love to know this magic "Arrow dodge" you speak of. All I can do is zig-zag and hope to hell I don't get hit (Which I do as soon as I'm within a certain range.) Also, I had Leather Armour
Hey is there any giant greatswords in Skyrim? I'm going to be slaying dragons so I need a big sword.
Imagine if telekinesis worked on projectiles. If it is possible to make, that has to be a mod.
The problem with overhaul mods is that they are usually incompatible with other mods.
I love Requiem, as I don't have any issues with incompatibility, but god damn those archers and Draugr. Also the spider venom effect gives me a headache.
The problem with overhaul mods is that they are usually incompatible with other mods.
And to be honest most of the things that need overhauled in Skyrim, the overhual mods don't touch and/or the things they do touch tend to be done better by other individual mods.
The problem with overhaul mods are that they include several changes to a lot of things in Skyrim that is not compatible with other mods. SkyRe takes it one step further and is not compatible with mods that just adds new stuff. The problem about these changes are that they usually support the author's opinion, rather than including a variety of choices to support anyone's preferences. I like installing a lot of smaller mods that do different things, not one big mod that do some things I like, but some things that I don't.
Being unable to drop heavy-ass gold seems kind of obsolete. I don't understand how you can have the skill and time to mod but not the brains to plan ahead?
Isn't gold stored in the misc. items tab?
If I recall correctly Requiem was the overhaul mod which gives gold a weight value but doesn't let you drop it. :v:
It also makes early-game so difficult that it's almost impossible, especially as a mage because the common "Bandit" can literally kill you in one hit.
I could drop gold, if I remember correctly. Well, that and the fact steel armour costs just under 1000G as well as everything else costing a bunch more makes it easy to lose money.
I almost want to start up and roleplay a CE Dunmer assassin (killing most Argonians he sees and other Chaotic-Evil stuff), but I already just started an Imperial Paladin build. Wat do?

Be a racist, Dunmer sympathising Imperial paladin who got kicked out of the Legion on account of his political views.
Getting an issue with my ENB's. The sun is shining through everything. Trees, mountains, buildings, everything. I changed bFLoatpointrender or whatever the hell it is to 1, but It's still an issue. It's my biggest issue at the moment.

What version of ENB are you using? I had that issue with version .19 and .18, I upgraded to .68 and I don't have that issue anymore.
my main problem with overhaul mods is that there seems to be a consensus that making the game hard as fucking nails is somehow a great idea
my main problem with overhaul mods is that there seems to be a consensus that making the game hard as fucking nails is somehow a great idea
I agree. It's the same thing with a lot of ENB's. "let's make it pitch black so you can't see a freaking thing! This is a great idea and all the players will love it!".
