The end of the "Rise in the East" quest in Skyrim had ships using mortars or some shit. They definitely were explosive. Kinda questionable though since they're entirely one-off in the game it seems.
Well, I just installed and started playing Dragonborn for the first time. I fuck around a bit meeting Paarthurnax and MQing for a bit, then promptly set off to finish The Blessings of Nature as I don't want to dive inside a Dwemer ruin yet. Right as I walk inside, the scripted Cultists proclaiming you as the false Dragonborn thing starts. Now, this is where things go off:
I begin the fight by Fus Ro Dahing the Cultists. Unfortunately, this shout has a farther reach than I predicted, and nails Jon Battle-Born in the face.
Bounty: 40
So now him and the guards are pissed at me, and begin attacking me as the cultists are razing everything. I defend myself, and attack one of the guards in kind.
Bounty: 80
More fightan occurs, and I apparently managed to hit another innocent as when I get sick of this and use my Voice of the Emperor racial to stop more collaterals and pay off my bounty, it is sitting at 120. No matter, I pay it off and prepare for the ensuing fight. I look over behind Warmaiden's.
Barbas is busy getting punched by the entire Battle-Born family. He manages to kill Idolaf before everybody remembers what they were doing and starts attacking the cultists. After the dust settles, Bergritte Battle-Born is dead as well.
And then a Dragon decides to raid Whiterun.

Average day in Skyrim. The only thing missing is punching a dragon to death or witnessing one get mauled by bears.
So, I thought this whole adoption thing was pretty stupid, just like getting married. Then I bumped in to Sofie, curled up asleep in a snowbank, in the middle of a snow storm. Upon waking up she begged me to buy flowers so she could use what ever meager amount of gold she made to survive.
Long story short, I'm 3,000 or so gold short and have a kid running around my house.
God damn it, skyrim.

Fun fact: She's based off of the 19th century Danish story "The Little Match Girl," where a girl freezes to death on Christmas Eve night because she was afraid to go home, believing her father would beat her for not selling matches. She see's a shooting star before hand, foreshadowing her death.
Also something to do with her dead grandma or something.

Haha, it's awful. In my last playthrough a few dozen NPC's died from either cultists or mostly vampire attacks. Next playthrough I'm playing with DG or DB disabled, or use a mod to disable them until I want to start.

Just started playing Skyrim again, and I do not remember what mods are included in it anymore. Just glazed through making sure everything's updated and went ahead to make my Nord.

Speaking of which, because I didn't want to try starting new game to avoid this stupid Visual C++ crash, I reinstalled Skyrim with all my mods + plus some more good ones. I made a Dark Elf and when I'll get myself Tribunal Robes, I'll post some screens.

mini overhauls are the best.
Replaying TES IV has reminded me of how painful it is to close Oblivion gates. It's even worse than the MQ dragon attacks in Skyrim.
Dragon attacks are way easier though.
Does anyone have an N-Gage emulator link so I could potentially play The Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey? It looked like a really good game compared to most N-Gage games and actual N-Gages are way too overpriced on Ebay to actually consider for a simple game.

Also, does anyone know how to fix the Ring of Necromancy from the Dargonborn DLC if you have Dark Souls? Right now my reanimated won't explode because I have that perk, is there a good fix?

The Dark Souls perk for the Conjuration skill, it boost your reanimated zombies to 100 health or something, because I have it the ring wont work. Turning off this perk makes the ring work, and was wondering if there was a way to fix that without losing a perk.
