I wish there was some sort of mod that would trigger either an Imperial invasion or a war against the Thalmor after the Civil War. [editline]23rd June 2013[/editline] There's a mod that let's you play as either Heavy or Engineer. Am I the only one who's life is now complete?
Volsung's mask is just so beautiful....
no it doesn't, it doesn't even do the same thing
It does, considering that for the (Very) short time it was installed, Skyrim crashed like crap. Alternatively it could have just been bethbryo.
And then you get Dawnguard DLC which magically gives all the male guards throat cancer.
oh my god yes. Is it not the same voice actor or something? Why did they make him sound so fucking annoying?
What are some things to make the vanilla game more exciting? I've got all 3 DLC's but haven't had any motivation to play them because i've gotten so bored of the base game from so many playthroughs. I'm playing on PS3 so can't use mods.
For me it was because I noticed every one has blocks for feet, and now I can't un-notice it
Fuuuucck why did you have to point that out :suicide: I can't unsee now.
Yeah, that annoyed me too. You think Bethesda should know how to make proper feet by now.
You'd think they'd also know how to texture skin without making people look like they have multiple skin diseases. I couldn't play with default textures after seeing the weird low resolution splotches on my mage's hands.
my condolences for having to play the ps3 port :\
I have it on PC as well, but due to playing on a laptop I can barely play for 30 minutes before the laptop gets too hot.
I have it on PC as well, but due to playing on a laptop I can barely play for 30 minutes before the laptop gets too hot.
Ever tried using a compressed air duster? This does wonders.
Go as a huge tank. "Was I just hit, wow, I didn't even notice."
Heavy armor in Skyrim is not at all like what they say in the commercials.
Apart from some of the world/lore-wise issues (which I wouldn't really know, I'm not that into the lore) in TES Online I actually think it looks pretty awesome [editline]23rd June 2013[/editline] It really doesn't look like it'll play like a generic MMO :v:
It looks like a good MMO, but a horrible TES game. I wish ZeniMax chose a different IP. Although, magic in that game looks like it's target tracking, so you'll most likely get "you need a target" or a fireball that suddenly takes a left turn if your target moves if you're going to play as a mage. It's kind of a shame since mage is my favorite class in both TES and MMOs.
I love this mod for skyrim guards http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9323/? It makes each hold's guards have a unique setup of uniform and they don't all wear the same equipment, some wear steel helmets, some wear hoods etc and some wear the good old helmets.
For me it was because I noticed every one has blocks for feet, and now I can't un-notice it
XCE adds new feet and new body textures, as well as the general plethora of better qaulity face textures
I think I'd like it if the next game had it so potions were Heal over time (I think morrowind had this?) instead of insta-restore, while also limiting the amount you can actually drink every 60 seconds or so. Didn't oblivion or morrowind kind of have this? Where you could only do 5 or so actions in your inventory per inventory action. Its just dumb how being able to drink a million potions at once completely trivializes most of the combat.
Also, does anyone know how to fix the Ring of Necromancy from the Dargonborn DLC if you have Dark Souls? Right now my reanimated won't explode because I have that perk, is there a good fix?
Asking this again because I would like to use the ring, also, is Dragonborn really buggy for anyone else (not just this bug)?

Morrowind had no limit to how many potions you could drink. Oblivion only allowed 5 different potion effects at one time, and all looted potions had insta heal. Potions the PC makes heal overtime. Skyrim has insta-heal potions no matter what.
Morrowind and Oblivion also had potions that could harm you. The closest thing Skyrim has to that is eating that thing Astrid gives you and says is super-deadly. Right after she gave me that, I ate it right in front of her and did not die. Then I killed [sp]the emperor[/sp] with a toothpick.
I think it's this one, albeit I think she took it down because she evidently wasn't satisfied with how fucking gratuitously awesome it is. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/28645/?
I think I still have it, but I really loved that mod if I think I know what you're talking about. It's the real faces by Nuska or something right?
skyrim has heal over time potions.
Skyrim has potions that increase the natural health restoration rate, but all healing potions heal instantly.
Also wat the wat http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35521/?
Also, what the what? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35521/?
It's like someone stitched a plastic layer over their faces, they look extremely creepy. I hope the author doesn't do this with real people.
I don't mind the armor, but I hate helmets. The only thing that makes those bastards any more intolerable is the fact that they are faceless. At the very least, having a face makes them seem like a person that lives in the town.
Maybe you could try mods that add more clothing/armor pieces to the game? NPCs are randomly outfitted with them; like this, an armored hood... [t]http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/g351/marinedude10/Skryim/2013-06-23_00009.jpg~original[/t]
