Its this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3296/? [editline]25th June 2013[/editline] At least it is still downloadable.
The Nightingale armor looks highly uncomfortable. The rest make sense though.
I'd use it.
To a very limited extent, I can understand this; if memory serves, that particular mod simply replaced the female meshes with the male ones, which given that Skyrim's men are built pretty heavily did make the final result look strange. This said, getting fucking reported for it is absolutely goddamn concussively stupid aughuhaugh
The modder adjusted the mesh to better fit the female model. So I've never actually completed oblivion or, for that matter, actually played it that much. Most I've ever gotten into a character is at max 15 hours and the only "guildy" thing I did was the dark brotherhood That being said, I'm going to be 'that guy' and ask what mods I should grab to mainly enhance the default game :)
Oh god why. Though, I feel some modders are very egotistical and are full of themselves. I'm not going to name names, but the entire "I want oblivion gates here and you can't make an unofficial patch that is run next to my mod without my permission to get rid of the Oblivion gates that basically everyone but me does not want" is the ultimate level of modder butthurt. IMO, it's a far cry from what modding used to be for TES in my opinion. The few old mods for Morrowind I have downloaded, in their redmes they basically state "If you do decide to host this somewhere else, make sure to have a link to mine and to mention that I made the mod". None of this "I'M TAKING YOU DOWN IF YOU EVEN DARE DOWNLOAD MY MOD" shit that goes on now. To me, they think they're game developers when they are not; they are just modders.
The issue is that like certain other sites including sister style sites to here that have the same "you can only ever say this about content" rules, it's a giant hugbox, and like all giant hugboxes all you get is pedantic requests for more fetish material disguised as compliments and no one is allowed to call you on your bullshit. I can't say FP has a better system, owing to the giant mob of self appointed experts who've hacked together a model one time using someone else's modeling scripts and watched some youtube videos on photoshop and dl'd fifteen thousand brushes and post processing routines and slapped them all on to one texture, but at least you will get actual constructive criticism on occasion that can improve your work and your offerings. Nexus literally has no way to make that happen without breaking the hugbox mentality.
To be fair, I use UNP because I like the proportions of it. I tend to actually switch to the skinny version occastionally. And using UNP designed armor is important to me or else my body shifts when I change armor. I don't do it for the nudity, though that is a purpose of it, when I strip a body I expect it to be stripped. I also remodded my textures to have lots of dirt and scars usually. I hate the barbie skin. That armor mod looks pretty good though. The most skin I have on my character during normal play is like her shoulder or neck. I don't play skyrim to fap. Edit: Everyone in those comments makes it seem like breasts are made of cement or something. Reminds me of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ag4C0MFRnmE Skip to 4:20 for the entire point of the video.
tbh you can download all the texture mods you like for the vanilla body and it'll still be the same shitty mesh; that's why a body replacer is one of my baseline mods because it just looks plain better - it's up to the player whether they ruin it or not [editline]25th June 2013[/editline]
So I've never actually completed oblivion or, for that matter, actually played it that much. Cheers monk!
What's a good animation mod for oblivion? [editline]25th June 2013[/editline] Also is that vibrant textures thing a big hit on fps? Or would it work alright with my laptop?
Cheers monk!
Monk knows his shit!
Can someone help me out with my oblivion load order? The game is really unstable and it's not uncommon that i crash 20-30 minutes into the game.
- I think OOO 1.33 "complete" actually needs a few beta patches to be installed afterward, and I don't see those on the list (maybe you manually did it, who knows). I found this out by accident after encountering an enemy with a missing mesh (and you will definitely know when you find a missing mesh...it is either a giant yellow exclamation mark or literally says "WTF I'M A MISSING MESH?!?!!"). - Better Cities is extremely demanding on resources, as is Unique Landscapes. How much RAM do you have? Not having enough will crash you pretty fast. - Do you have All Natural installed correctly? It requires Wrye Bash to finalize installation with the "filter patch". - Do you have compatibility patches for Unique Landscapes installed? OOO requires one. - Alternate Start and Keychain are marked with black boxes. Are they installed correctly? - Are all those city and location mods compatible with one another? - Is Qarl's Harvest compatible with OOO's harvest plug-ins?
Um... yes it's virtual.
But is it?
Is it?

Oh. Well, okay.
What's a good animation mod for oblivion?
Seriously, anyone have a name for me?
Seriously, anyone have a name for me?
They're all pretty bad imo.
They're all pretty bad imo.
Damn.
I've been sitting here at my desk, playing Skyrim with SkyRE installed, wondering if I like it or not. I've been wondering if I like it or not for a few days. Anyone have any favourite gameplay/combat "overhauls"?
I'm going near vanilla and uninstalling Morrowind Overhaul. I'm still using better bodies/beasts and a "db please don't fuck me up at the start" mod. I boosted my FOV, and draw distance.
So I just figured out how to properly install my lighting + ENB mods, my lord Skyrim has never looked more amazing on my system. I can't believe I've been missing out on this
People care about Nazeem? [img_thumb]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/576741390416958601/DDBE210368A6C2BF534056814C08AC67E5ED7456/[/img_thumb]

Anyone have any favourite gameplay/combat "overhauls"?
Mine :v: But its not out yet :( Thinking about putting in a feature where if you hold a button you are in a defensive/cautious stance, where you swing slower and move slower (like sneaking, but not sneaking) but you take less damage overall and you can perform side (mostly defensive) abilities like parrying with it. Mostly because I already have abilities like that setup to trigger when sneaking but I think its kinda weird to suddenly go into sneak mode in battle. It'll also make it easier to remember how to do special moves you unlock via perks - just hold the stance button and do your attack in the right situation. I worry that I'm starting to get too convoluted in my mod considering my original intent was to just redo the perk trees, which ended up me redoing the skill system as well (since most of the perks were shitty buffs that just acted like leveling up in a skill when you used them anyways, so getting rid of that made it so I had to change how some of the skills were balanced), to changing mechanics and pacing enough with the mod by making it so everything is more damaging (you including) but blocking now actually blocks fully, a completely revamped stamina management, etc. It's basically a full blown rework of the combat lol The only reason why its not crumbled to pieces is because I've already gotten so far to the point where all I have left to do is do the blocking perks, do the light armor skill+perks and do the archery skill+perks and then do logistics (give you a way to uninstall or upgrade, do options like being able to rebind some things, etc) before its releasable.

Be sure to check the optional files for the "Arrows do less damage" file. It helps out because without it, archers are bullshit.

So far, there is nothing in Requiem I don't like. Well, except for the frostbite venom effect. It looks like you've taken a full drink of Skooma (Drinking skooma gives the same effect, actually.)
Archers are strange, on my mage character high level archers (literallly) blow me away with a single hit, but on my massively armored orc, they literally bounce off my armor and do almost no damage. Is there some sort of damage bonus for unarmored opponents, or whats the deal with that?

You can dodge arrows easily. Speaking of which, Requiem players, is there actually even a counter to the dragon priests? I'm playing through as a conjuration/enchantment mage and they are literally unbeatable. No combination of any of my skills is capable of actually doing damage. Atronachs are turned against me immediately, my pissweak destruction is absorbed by their spellshields, my burly orc bodyguard does zero damage in melee, and I can't progress much further beyond 90 with my conjuration because the college is flipping it's shit. I'm on my fifth Labyrynthian attempt and I am constantly shocked by how completely obscene each mounting challenge is.

Massive orc, heavy armour, arrows don't go through them... I'm really not seeing the confusion.
The confusion is that all melee attacks do significant volumes of damage to my armored character, wheras arrows do almost no damage On my mage, melee attacks do the same signfiicant volume of damage, while arrows kill me in a single hit. Maybe I should have clarified better. My mage/rouges have about 300 health, and enemy bows kill in one hit. That means they are delivering upwards of 300 damage for a single shot. Something must be wrong :eng101: [editline]26th June 2013[/editline] I literally have to duck take cover when I see a draugr deathlord with an ebony bow (for unarmored characters). One hit and I will literally fly down the nearby hallway at a higher velocity than the arrow hit me at.

If you gots an armoured char, it will basically cancel out any bonus damage that LD gives.
I'm still using better bodies/beasts and a "db please don't fuck me up at the start" mod.
Pah - if it's not your first playthrough and you're not keeping yourself to a strictly defined role, you're better off farming DB assassins trapped in bunk beds - just as a means of getting to demigod-status as quickly as possible.
