Arena probably :v:

come on it's not as big, start small
What are they doing with skywind/blivion?
I mean, making the gameplay exactly like skyrim is a stupid move, yet changing every little thing to be the exact same as those past games is just as dumb.
Because of engine limitations, they can only do the combat like in Skyrim, also how is using gameplay elements from previous games "dumb"? I liked Morrowind, it was like a mix between earlier RPGs where everything was about chance and dicerolls and modern RPGs where you hit things and they eventually die.
I mean I personally prefer hack n slash combat over most stuff, but atleast in most hack n slash games you get some really awesome combos or get to look at some fine ass animations
not the weightless animations where a sword acts exactly like a mace as in Oblivion and Skyrim :v:
[editline]30th June 2013[/editline]
I mean all that left mouse button spamming... atleast most other hack and slash have you spamming more than one button at a time, step it up bethesda
That's why I like the Daggerfall combat, moving the mouse to swing the sword feels pretty cool, you have complete control over which swing you want to use, and it doesn't cause button slammers to wear out the mouse.

Arena is way fucking harder then Daggerfall.
And you get less indication of what to do while you play then DF. Less.
I keep crashing abruptly when talking to reveler mead groups, when I stop dialogue it usually crashes to desktop instantly. Apparently it might be shadow settings but I've been checking my mods, not sure whats causing it.
[editline]30th June 2013[/editline]
crashing when I go near some special buildings too, I think its mod related but trying to figure out which one is going to be a pain.
I'll give it a go, I was trying to see if my game was crashing due to memory limits (got a lot of enhancement stuff), but that doesn't seem to be doing anything either.
[editline]30th June 2013[/editline]
nope tried it, didn't work.
okay figured it out now, it was some conflicting texture mods for races I had, when I tried unequipping armour it would crash. So I uninstalled and its working fine so far.
I'll upload a version of the ENB I have (FX Only ENB) possibly tomorrow. ENB 0.185 was released today, and I'm waiting to see if there will be any updates to that version before updating the current ENB I have.

From walking around in the Markarth area. Game time is about 7:30pm.
well I'm done for the night;

I want to make a sabre hood but need to fight the eyes, every time I come across one its dead. The backpack took me roughly 2-3 hours to make due to the annoying materials needed, couldn't find any bears or goats so I ended up fighting 5 giants and looting lots of bandits to get what I needed, then I got side tracked from quests.
I think for a Shaman class I need to enchant a mix of magic and damage on the gear? I guess magic buffs and melee damage, maybe a fire enchant on the axe.

Your whiterun certainly has enough trees considering it's in a tundra :v:

I like trees

There's liking trees, and then there's planting a goddamn forest in Whiterun.
So, nobody's seen a mod that makes Argonians punch and not claw? I want to make an unarmed Argonian but the clawing looks silly to me.

They're raptors with thumbs, why would you want to take away their claws?
They're raptors with thumbs, why would you want to take away their claws?
Because clawing at someone just isn't as satisfying as punching them.
What it should feel like chasing dragons in Skyrim:

Skyrim's combat in general is just really fucking bad
For instance, if I decide to go through a bandit camp or Imperial/Stormcloak fort and slaughter everything, it should feel like this

Instead, it feels more like this.

I'm trying so hard to get into Morrowind but it's just not clicking with me, does anyone have a specific class I should do or maybe a new approach to it?
It could mainly be because my cat hasn't sat on my lap since the time I walked around in a thunderstorm :/

Could always try to start with a dependable Redguard + Long Blade build: it won't enable you to fiddle with some of the more interesting skills, but it'll get you out and about at a sufficiently capable level to let you enjoy the world without the micromanagement. Taking in both simultaneously when they're both heading in different arcane directions is always initially distracting.

Luckily for you, I wanted this too, so I just made it.

Nazeem is like the adoring fan of skyrim
Hey guys, I'm making a series of videos called Skyrim Adventures (not a very original name I know) that some of you may like. I kind of took the idea from another guy, but I'm modifying it a bit. Anyway, here's the thread if you'd like to check it out and contribute something. Enjoy!

I just hate how everyone in the zone is aware of your presence when you enter it and you proceed to fight the entire instance at the gate you entered.
So I'm going to install the morrowind graphics extender purely for 1920*1080, aside from that it'll be vanilla as a simpleton with a sword. Nothing too fancy I just want to explore the world :)
Fog on or off? Also is it worth adjusting the view distance at all or just leave it as is
Also legendary difficulty is bullshit. I get killed by mudcrabs in 3 hits at level 1 and pretty much anything else one shots me

This post instantly made me think of this picture:

I wonder if bethesda will ever realize that raising damage for both the player and the enemy is how proper difficulty is done. It doesn't help that Skyrim difficulty can be gauged by how many health potions you consume in a fight.

That's how they do it though. On lower difficulty, the player does more damage and the enemy less. On higher difficulty, the enemy does more damage and the player less. The problem with this is that it just turns enemies into having huge health bars and the player into a piece of cardboard.
Bethesda should learn how to scale their game properly and make the combat a bit more interesting. It doesn't help that you can usually one-shot most enemies, but bosses are hard as rocks, so you have to keep adjusting the difficulty.
