Holy shit I just killed a woman in a town for her coins, butchered her corpse, ate her human flesh, then walked north a bit, bragged about it and a woman spit at me.

Oh god, child climbed up a tree and couldn't get down. I don't like children very much, so I order the tree to be chopped down. What happens? Child jumps onto the dwarf who cut the tree down. Seems fine right? The dwarf's neck broke and he died, and the child's mangled body then fell into a river where he was being torn apart by angry ottermen before he drowned.

Man this is amazing.

Started adventuremode first thing that happens is a bowman spits in my face so I greet him and he spits again and says "I hate you."

Freezing deletes bodies. Fun.

I started a new fort on a very promising location, sadly already my doctor dwarf i took along to help with any early injuries was the first to be injured, climbing a tree as it was being chopped down he broke his nose and his right hand. Now there are imps climbing out of the volcano...

I hope the next hotfix is entirely optimization because the current level of it is atrocious. It took about twenty minutes for the pre-adventure time compression to move forward a week. Granted, this was on a large world, but nonetheless. [editline]dsfgkjh[/editline] Also bearing in mind that this is a comp that, last update, could safely mass-produce large, 1050-year history worlds in batches at a time.

I cant even get to play adventure mode, my 150 year old world just will not get past "updating world", left the thing for nearly 30 mins :|

Whenever I try to talk to someone in Adventure mode, then the game crashes. Anyone have similar issues?

I'm so happy to have buggy, crashy, crazy Dwarf Fortress back in my life. I missed it so much.

I've decided to try and get into this game again, I have no fucking clue what's going on in Dwarf mode so I play adventure. All I've been doing so far is chucking spears at everybody and then demanding a cease of hostilities which they comply with. Is there a way to pick up objects not on your position? I want to grab a spear off an unconscious guy.

My favorite part of this update is how i started my fort and i told my carpenter/woodcutter to cut down a tree and a moose fell down from the tree on him and killed them both

This update seems awesome, but are there any good texture packs anyone can suggest?

nope, no new chat options or anything when I tell them that I killed lord Mita they just spit at me oh well also while trying to conquer another hamlet I didn't come across the lord's residence, could he be in one of the commoner houses or am I wasting my time?

You also have to do this and say goodbye to actually end conversations without being [I]incredibly rude. [/I] It's a bit clunky and superfluous right now, but I'm sure it'll be streamlined a bit better in hotfixes.

I can't believe I'd slept past the fan-a-rama. Nevermind; now there's quiet devotion to give.

So with the new version I decided to get back into this game. I can only play with ASCII so that's easy enough, but the lack of Dwarf Therapist is killing me right now...

I keep getting "ambushed" and when I talk to them they just advise me not to go out at night or the boogymen will get me. I like this place!
