Once again I'm going to attempt to learn this monster game. I've tried like 4 times now but it just hasn't clicked still. I love reading people's stories, this thread is probably one of the best ones to read for me. I wish I could create my own stories to play out. This is easily the ugliest, most interesting behemoth of a game I can ever imagine.

Interesting... I just generated a world which skipped back and forth between the Age of Myth and Age of Legends five times before the history simulator stopped. Dunno how common that was before the latest update since I rarely checked Legends mode, but it's new to me.
I'm about to embark in the Fifth Age of Legends, and I'll most likely see the return of Myths during my fort's lifetime, since most of this world's Legendary ages lasted less than a year.

Dwarf teeth act as shields as well as weapons. Protects the face n head but leaves the neck exsposed, tooth lose is exspected when trying to catch bolts with teeth.

Yeah, just make sure you have a free hand or something for easy grappling then grab whatever item you want with that hand. Then, press capital I to show your (I)nteraction menu. An item that shows up in red is probably the item you have grappled. Press the key allotted to that item and you should take it from them.

So roots will disappear if you cut the tree they're associated with. Unfortunately, if you don't do this before your miner mines out a block with roots, it just destroys the entire thing without generating logs.
I really like when weird stuff like friendly night creatures happens. It's kind of goofy, but it's fun.
