I've spent a few hours collectively drawing charts in class trying to think of the perfect layout. I realize there is none.
Nothing like coming back to this game after many months and forgetting everything. Spent 20 minutes setting up the dwarves labors correctly according to the guide. Unpaused, 2 dwarves instantly killed by alligators. Fun.
I have a web spitting forest titan attacking. I am afraid to suicide attack it because of its webs. I am close to calling a lockdown till I can get some crossbows.
Gunna name my expedition leader after Lijitsu, since he was so helpful for getting me into the game. He's also a wizard, apparently.
I'm sure I'll die a horribly gruesome grue-related death.

A foolish miner stepped outside, even though he was assigned to a burrow at the interior, and was consumed by fog, along with a yak. He turned on his fellows and easily slaughtered them all with his undwarven strength.

Welp time to pick this game up again. It's been a while, Dwarf Fortress. That's the end of THAT fortress.
How do you turn off aquifers? I'm sure I've done it before.

That hole goes about 80 z-levels down so far, and I still can't see the bottom. I'm gunna drop my Fluffy Wambler down the hole and see what happens. It landed in some water (it exploded anyways), and revealed a single serpent woman and a cavern composed almost entirely of water. Huh. I removed my shield in Adventure Mode and now I can't seem to equip it. Am I doing something wrong?

I cleaned up the demon site maps... 3D maps always seem to gobble extra time, probably because there's one more letter to mistype as one of the other two letters, but we're still on track. I also got the game to respect the light activity periods of predators as they wander around, messed with camp guards some more, various fixes to tents, and so on. The remaining list is so random I don't think there'll be any structure to the next set of updates. It should take us up to around November 15th, at which point we'll just continue to test things out for a bit and see where we are at.[/QUOTE] This is all good news, but he still hasn't told us what happened to Zach.
