It feels so good actually coming into this game after 2 years of lurking and a dozen failed attempts.
it's not that hard, right? you should try adventure mode if you haven't already
it's not that hard, right? you should try adventure mode if you haven't already
I could really never get into adventure mode. I always just end up putting all my points into throwing and running around throwing everything I could find at animals (including other animals).

Becoming a necromancer in Adventure mode can be quite satisfying despite the immense list of minions combat rounds.
Is it possible to replace a dwarf's legs/arms if they have been lost?
Is it possible to replace a dwarf's legs/arms if they have been lost?
Hahaha, why would you want to do that?
rebuild dwarves into adamantite, robot, killing machines
We can rebuild him. We have the drawbridges.
I play adventure mode more than fortress mode the combat is just too fun
I like to be unnecessarily sadistic. Steps to killing target: 1.) Grip target's head and perform a takedown 2.) Grip target's throat and strangle 3.) Bite tongue and nose off 4.) (optional) bite fingers off 5.) Slowly punch and kick each individual tooth out until the mouth is empty 6.) Bite eyes apart 7.) Curb stomp until dead
I wanna make a lava moat around a fort. And if an enemy somehow gets into the fort and fucks it all up... more lava.
Anyone have a world/fort that is easy to live in and really fun? I'm tired of being new an having dwarves die of hunger or thirst, I want them to be well fed and well cared for right up until they're visited by 10 forgotten beasts at once.
Really, your best bet is to learn how to set up farms and a kitchen/still area quickly. Being able to ignore farms and cooking/brewing for a while is nice, but it's a lot nicer when you know how quickly you need to expand to keep everything stocked when a new migrant wave hits.
We can rebuild him. We have the drawbridges.
I had to google where "We can rebuild him" is from and ended up on TVTropes again. [editline]23rd October 2013[/editline] Fuck
