You might as well be solo'ing it then.
As soon as the relic approaches the plinth, a wave of adds (including a Minotaur) spawn, with hobgoblins on the higher pillars that's very hard to deal with on your own while holding the relic. I personally don't see it doable if you're grouped with sheep
I do like the strike for that though, it's fun and tests the teamwork

Also, I feel like a big reason why I cannot play the raids is also because I don't have a USB microphone or headset, and that seems to be a big requirement.

Really don't understand all the people who have never raided. The raids are easily the most fun content available in this game.

You play the same way I have. There is a lot of content to explore and catch up on. I've went from 25 to 35 by doing nothing but content pre-TTK.
I WANT to raid, but I've suggested it twice here and got nothing. I'll go elsewhere I guess. Destinylfg is a good one?

There really is no explanation to fuck yourself out of such a huge part of the game, when you do a raid you're going to wonder why you never did
Literally all you have to do on LFG is SEARCH THE EVENT YOURE LOOKING FOR and pick a person and message them. Or put in your gamertag, throw in what you're looking to form a group to do, and make a group yourself. You don't have to register, it takes me 30 seconds to find a raid group and 90% of the time they're pretty cool people.

It's really hard to get a group of 6 together on FP, destinylfg.net is what I usually use

Today I got a sweet entirely blood red shader when hitting level 15 at the cryptarch. I'm not sure if it was random for leveling up or for hitting 15

God of War?
If it was it's one of like 4 shaders you can get when reaching level 20 on a character, and occasionally from Vanguard packages and Cryptarch packages.
Has anyone actually beat the raid with 20 moldering shards? Is it even worth farming that many hadium flakes?

don't buy moldering shards from eris, you get them frequently in the raid
