Just did the raid with some randoms, got the chest and the handcannon. Too many moldering shards imo.
wouldn't recommend a 2nd playthrough considering vanilla story is shite, but taken king added a lot of good stuff

I really don't understand the story in this. I've heard it's not very good, but I'm not really sure in what order anything is. Does the DLC story missions follow that of the main story in Destiny? What quest even is the main story? I'm doing "The Black Garden" and I looked it up online but I see no end of it.

black garden questline is the main story, dark below comes after that, house of wolves next, and then the big jumble of Taken King quests

yes
theres a quest for getting boss items from the raid and for just killing the bosses
the boss killing one is what gets you the 310 artifact

Oh, sorry. That's annoying because every time I go to complete the take war quests there isn't any damn taken to start initiating the spawn
it's not for the boss killing quest, it's just for beating the raid
it's called road to king's fall and it unlocks after you beat the taken war quests
boss killing quest is for touch of malice and is called the old hunger or hunger pangs or something like that

I'm around, just doing strikes while we wait.
We just spent 5 hours at Oryx and we didn't manage to stun him once. The team could not comprehend the idea of throwing a bubble down in the center of the map
