Got my level 27 titan killed by a level 18 titan with a 3 burst round rifle, also got matmacked with a whole team full of level 30 people that wrecked me hard
Yeaaah... im giving up on the crucible
If I didn't have several exotic bounties, and the upcoming Iron banner, I wouldn't play the crucible at all.

Have they still not implemented some sort of lfr in game? When I was looking to purchase Destiny a while back it was one of the main reasons I did not

On LFG you can ask peoples level, loadout, class, experience all before joining their game. Do you still run into bad players? Yeah you do but matchmaking would be so much worse.

I heard that the percentage of players that do the raid is low, matchmaking would let those player in (in a sense).
You would end up with whole parties of people expecting to be carried though.

Got on a crucible match today and I carried my team with a 2+ kd.
I get another crappy gun while the sandbag with a 0.5 kd gets a legenary primary engram.
I felt like crushing my controller.
I wish Crucible actually rewarded playing well instead of being entirely random.
Like, if I'm wrecking shit and basically win the game for my team, I expect some good shit. I ended up with an 8:1 (or 24:3) K/D in one match, and lo and behold, all I got was some obsolete armor.

My first week playing i was in the crucible and was 3rd last, Wasn't looking at the screen until i heard a large noise...ended up with a hawkmoon.
Also a week later i go on my first raid with friends who've played for months and first chest i open is the gjallarhorn.
I feel like scum for being so lucky.

I was tearing shit up in IB, my team kicked ass too 20k to 8k and someone on the other team got a dragons breath.
A couple games later I lead my team again and got an amazing legendary heavy engram.[sp]re:ascendant energy[/sp]

I'll return for the dlc. Probably organise some crucible matchmaking because there's no new raid yet. I'll probably only be on for a couple of weeks before I get bored again.
I've played about 200-300 of the highest level strike playlists. Haven't got anything more than 2 legendary engrams. I just want a new ship dammit.
One time I've decrypted two legendary items from rare Engrams. One of them was useless the other one not for my class.

Does no one here play on Xbox? I play with a fairly active group of people, we do the night fall and try to raid every week but we're short a couple tracking rockets so killing crota can be difficult.

is this game worth picking up on the PS4 if I plan to play solo? I heard the game wound up getting a lot of backlash for being repetitive but people play it anyway so it has to have a redeeming factor, right?

Your buddies could also rush you up to level 20 and help you grind past the level 26 road block.
I've been playing solo since February on PS4 and still having fun playing it. One time I did a raid through LFG but we didn't finish it.
Also shall we put a list of facepunchers who destiny on OP. I don't anyone to play with since none of my friends own PS4. My tag is thesenior_tee
I'm on PS4: Departing. Gonna be playing a lot this week with the new DLC stuff coming out. I'm level 31.
