It takes three-four headshots with it at just outside shotgun range, and any closer and the shotgun will always fire first and send you away on your misery.

Have you tried the100.io? If you have a group from there, do they suck? If they do, get a new group. It can assign you a new one. Try r/fireteams on Tuesdays. Try the Destiny subreddit IRC.

So, everytime I've left my character with Exotic particles overnight I've had an exotic drop on the very first strike or second the next day. You think the time you have the 3oCoins active gives you a boost?

Ok but I think you guys always raid before I get off work, I know I have Delta, orange, whazat and someone else but I have no idea who is who besides Delta. I usually get home from work around 5:30PM central during the week.

I'm around for raids again whenever, done with work for a while and no longer sleeping half the day so I'm set.
I'm ready to raid on the ps later on today (maybe 8 hours time?) only problem is I've never done it before, everything bar the tombship jumps will be new. Got a mic however and I'm a good communicator, light lv 192
So I played this game or maybe 2-3 hours when it was first released because it sounded like a more serious Borderlands MMO, but I got bored with it.
I've heard it's improved over time though, so should I actually give the game a second try?

No, and I really don't know why. I enjoy these types of games, using borderlands as an example again I fully completed both of those. Not really sure why I lost interest in it, I think it might have been because of all the negative buzz.

It's just RNG.
I've had four exotics drop in 10 minutes from 3oC, then nothing for two hours.
So it seems the only "ultra" in the whole raid is the shade. No one else is considered an ultra. Not even Oryx himself.

I got an exotic from Warpriest, I'm fairly sure.

Warpriest and Golgoroth are both ultras.

Woop, now I got the IB Wolfswood cloak, boots and Ironwreath D. Now I just need to rank up to IB R5 and pray to RNGesus that I get some of the other gear.

Not my fault people can't do simple things like jump onto a platform and stay there when it's their turn or explode their orbs, or even fucking know what Counter-clockwise was. We had to spend 10 minutes last night trying to explain the concept of counter-clockwise to one guy last night. If people can't follow simple instructions even when multiple people are telling them what to do, then by all means they're idiots.
so then either you need to spend more time explaining the fight or you need to find better raid buddies, telling them theyre stupid isnt going to help anything
