If that way works for you fine but it takes more time imo. No one said it was a bad strat, just that our personal preferences were the one orb method.

Unless you're doing a raid with people you've run it with before, 1 orb strat is the best bet.
Less likely to fuck it up.
And if your weapons are good enough it'll be done in two Gazes anyway.

You're getting so mad at someone preferring another strat. So if he goes on LFG and finds a group, then one of the players has the same mentality as you and refuses to accept other peoples opinions on strategies then he's not gonna like doing it with randoms.

here's a writeup I found
[sp]In order to start the quest line for No Time to Explain, you must gather the Ghosts from the Daily Mission Paradox.
Quest is called Not Forged In Light. You have to pledge allegiance to FWC and get reputation for them. It doesn't matter what rank you are with them. You then need to go to Venus and kill a Taken Minotaur which will drop simulation core that you will need to shatter. Shatter the Simulation Core and you'll get a new quest. Go speak to Lakshmi-2 at the Tower for the next part.
Now you have to do the Vault of Glass and kill Atheon. Killing Atheon rewards you with an Eye that you need to shatter. You can do this on Normal mode. Once you beat Atheon you'll get an eye that you'll need to shatter. Once shattered, go back to the Tower and speak with Lakshmi once again.
Next quest is on earth, Shadow at Twilight. There are bright lights on this mission that you step on in order to cleanse yourself from the darkness. You must find a hidden chest here. Once found, you'll need to go back to Lakshmi again and get the final quest.
Last quest is 'Blood of the Garden' on Mars. For this part, you must kill the vex and keep the anger at 100% in order to spawn the Ultra Minotaur. The ultra spawns in three spots, far left, middle, and far right. Once you kill him you'll need to speak to Lakshmi one last time and you'll get the No Time To Explain gun.[/sp]
but I don't have confirmation if you can get the quest for the exotic gun today if you're just doing the paradox secret mission today and turning the ghost in

After you kill Atheon you do some special solo quest on Twilight Gap and then you go to a special Black Garden quest on Mars. After that you get the run. Mars quests looks like a pain in the ass.
Getting exotics in TTK has been a fair bit cooler than in Year 1.

I probably do the 1 orb strat more than the 6 orb strat because I raid with so many incompetent raid teams and only raid usually once with our main squad
just because I think the 1 orb strat is garbage doesn't mean I force my preference on others
you can also ask anyone on here that i've raided with, i've always been polite, and patient with new players who needed things explained
we don't have a "raid leader" in our group but i'm probably the closest thing we've had in terms of taking responsibility so I don't have room to be a prick or else no one would raid with me
Anyone want to run VoG on hard instead of normal? I still don't have a Mythoclast and the completionist in me is not a fan of that situation
we'll probably be running VoG real soon for the No Time To Explain quest, probably have a spot open if you wanna join

You don't have to pledge for the quest to show up, but I was already rank 5 so that might have been a factor

Yet another three disappointing nightfall runs. Got 18 strange coins, 300 light legendary gauntlets, and a 305 omolon scout rifle.
Got two Treads Upon Stars though, but neither of them have any notable upgrades.
