those are pretty good rewards compared to before the patch - 18 strange coins alone is >10 3oC which should be 2 exotics, plus you got a 305 primary and two strike exclusive weapons (even if the rolls are bad)

You're kinda blowing this up to a bigger than it is.
The 1 orb strat has always seemed un-necessary to me when you know the 6 orb strat. I haven't done the raid outside of my own raid group, but if you have a group that knows the 6 orb strat and 1 orb strat, they're most definitely gonna choose the 6 orb strat.
The 1 orb strat has always seemed like the safe and easy one, the 6 orb one being the quick one, but requiring more communication, as I'm sure has been said before.
All I can say is try them both before you knock either of them off. Depending on your raid group, the preferred strat might differ depending on what your group excels at, their damage output, ect.
Now lets drop this argument and come to terms that Bungie legit decided to removed a skill tree from the game because of a glitch that happens when you pause the game :v:

Got my first exotic primary engram using 3oC on heroic strikes, and got the supercell from it, which was the only exotic i was remotely interested in.
Using my newly acquired superpower, solo'd the nightfall and got a 310 ghost.
Today was a good day
Nightstalker + intellect tier 5 + more super energy from non guardian kills + supercell is a nice combo in pve,
clear an area in no time and get 50-75% of a super back

I wouldn't say the nines plot is abandoned. We see it developed when we find that [sp]oryxs 'taken' power came from one of the nine[/sp]

I've done both, I just haven't seen anyone do 6 orbs since the first 2 weeks.
So did anyone figure out if you can do the questlist the same day you get the cult ghost?

So I guess if you didn't have cult ghost before today you have to wait until paradox is the daily again? Or is it just the day after the questlist is initiated?

So, uh, the way to get "good" weapons/armor to get yourself to a higher Light level, is it that you infuse them with other items? Or is there some other method that I'm not aware of?
Cause I infused a legendary to make it better, but it only got a little bit better. Guessing I'm meant to do it several times.
