What kind of rewards do the weekly crucible bounties give?
What kind of rewards do the weekly crucible bounties give?
Nightfall level drops.
Nightfall level rewards for the hardcore PvP folks.
fuck off, i'll get salty at what I want, including other peoples mediocrity or laziness ruining an experience that is meant to be fun
It's a raid strategy, am I missing the part where this ruins the experience for the player? It's not an exploit it's just one person taking the gaze lmao
so what's the point of having multiple characters? Are your coins/gear/etc. shared or are they "soulbound" it's hard to tell how much of an mmo they want this to be
ugh im stuck at the daily story for the no time to explain exotic.. i havent even been able to get past the paradox mission im just getting wrecked so hard
ugh im stuck at the daily story for the no time to explain exotic.. i havent even been able to get past the paradox mission im just getting wrecked so hard
If on PS4 I can gladly jump in and help if needed.

You can do Nightfalls three times a week, as well as Raids (including the potential exotic chests). You get more out of the game since you can experience each class and their subclasses. Finally you can get your hands on all the swords instead of having to choose just one.
Would anyone on ps4 with the first part of the quest for Not forged in light where you have to kill the minotaur on venus for the shattered core be able to invite me into that instance of the quest? I want to test it if it'll continue the quest for the NTTE if you turned in the praedyth ghost today. I'm cool with waiting to find out though
I like using the No Time To Explain in PvP but damn if I don't miss gunning down charging shotgunners with The Last Word.
this is an interesting ass article http://kotaku.com/the-messy-true-story-behind-the-making-of-destiny-1737556731
Destiny’s story went through several revisions before the reboot, but the supercut’s version revolved around players’ hunt for the warmind Rasputin, according to two people familiar with the original plans. In today’s Destiny, Rasputin doesn’t do much but listen to classical music in a steel bunker on Earth, but in the 2013 version, he would have starred in a more prominent role. Alien Hive would have kidnapped the machine and brought him to their Dreadnaught spaceship, which was later cut from vanilla Destiny and moved to The Taken King. Originally, this Hive ship would have been part of the main story. “The entire last third of the game took place on the Dreadnaught with you rescuing Rasputin,” said one person who worked on the game. Fans have long wondered about the bloody Exo in one early piece of Destiny concept art. Turns out that was Rasputin, according to a source. In the original story, the player would have rescued this guy from the Hive. Although Osiris has yet to appear in the version of Destiny that shipped, he does have a presence thanks to a competitive multiplayer gauntlet designed in his name: the Trials of Osiris. Groups of flawless victors in Trials of Osiris gain access to the enigmatic wizard’s Mercury temple, which was salvaged from the original story and reused here. In the pre-reboot Destiny story, Osiris served as a guide for the main player. He had a robotic assistant whose model was, according to a source, scrapped and reused for yet another character who will be familiar to hardcore Destiny fans: the Stranger.
I feel sad that this isn't the game we got.
Two sources say the original plan was to release this major expansion at $60 and include a brand new planet, Europa, as well as a new area on Earth called the European Dead Zone (which itself had been pushed back from vanilla Destiny). They also hoped to add a totally new feature called multiple fireteam activities, which a source described like this: “Imagine like you and I are in a fireteam, and we’re fighting down this one path that converges with two other paths and you get three fireteams all fighting together against a boss, or against some sort of mobs.”

It’s hard not to speculate about what Destiny might have looked like with Staten’s version of the story. People who worked on Destiny rave about the European Dead Zone and the raid on Mars
The European Dead Zone was actually shown off in some early trailers and a Mars Raid would be baller as fuck.
I'm assuming the European Dead Zone is that forest area in one of the early trailers we never got to go to?
I wish you could use two exotics, and not just one armor and one weapon. I'm sure that would break some shit but I just wanna use The Last Word and The Chaperone together.
Today, after doing the nightfall and getting 12 much-needed 3oC, my very next strike dropped an exotic engram. I decrypted it into a 290 supercell, which my friend took me through another strike so I could test it out. After that strike? Another exotic engram. And this time, that one created a 310 supercell v:v:v

The shitty thing is that nothing is going to be overhauled regardless of the 10 year lifetime of the game. Overhauls and such are saved for sequels, so Destiny 2 will probably act as Bungie's "Lessons Learned", but at this point I wonder if the current game is sustainable for another 8 years.
So, the latest PS4 OS update caused my PS4 to lock up about 7 seconds after booting into the menu, troubleshooting showed me that it was being caused by the network module starting I guess and trying to connect to the psn. It would literally lock up, so I could either disconnect my router and turn on the PS4 and go disable internet in the settings or just not turn on the PS4 at all. If I turned on my router after the PS4 was on and connected to it it'd lock up as soon as it got to the PSN sign in test. I've spent the last 5 hours trying to solve this... Turns out, Google DNS problems again. Took the addresses out of my dns settings and it worked magically after that. It only took 5 hours to realise I had it going through another dns and that was causing everything. :suicide:

Destiny 2 will probably be out next year
according to leaks, destiny 2 will feature osiris prominently like the article states was the original idea for destiny
I think Nierwens Mercy is my favourite weapon in PVP right now, wow...
Not forged in light quest doesn't continue today like the sleeper simulant did the next day if you did the first step that day. So looks like you'll have to wait unless you get invited to that part of the quest by someone
