Is it the Echo of Oryx quest in Phobos? I loathe that mission.
bought this game last night, popped it in after work today around 2pm completely unaware of the 18gb update, 8pm and the download still isn't finished. PS4 download servers are trash.

Apparently the download speeds somehow get better in rest mode

Paradox has been giving me issues but i've leveled up a bit since i last tried so maybe it'll be better now.

stay in the doorway where you first enter the final room if you haven't already completed it, makes enemies funnel towards you instead of getting flanked and dying 15 times. focus sniper fire on bossman and you should get it done in a couple minutes fairly easily.

Problem I've found with this is the shielded Minotaurs that show up and fuck you up.
the supercell is awesome
like, god damn

You can hammer out some level 28 PoE runs and loot the chests.
Do the standard 2 chests at the end count or you mean the huge one that i need a key to open?
They all can give coins, the big one can just give larger quantities.
I am learning to love the Chaperone. Gun is a lot of fun if you use it right.

if you do it quick enough you can get him down before the minotaurs make it up the stairs
Anyone want to run trials on ps4?
I bought the shadowstep helmet instead of the auto rifle because it didn't seem that great.
Supercell feels like a worse (but more fun to use) Bad Juju

I wouldn't mind trying it, but I feel like I'll get nervous and fuck up. Trials always sounds so definitive. I've been getting steadily better at PvP but idk.

Supercell + Tether + Bloodbound = Ridiciulous mob killing ability.
I just got into playing it, got the boost to level 25 and have no idea what I'm doing, should I restart a new character to get a feel first?
You should not restart the character you used the boost on because you can't get it back. Just play quests.

But I kind of want to play half of the game I just paid for.
You're not missing anything outside of one of the most insulting stories a video game has ever had.
[editline]31st October 2015[/editline]
And you'll level another character eventually.

You should have quests taking you through the story.
Or you could make a new character of a different class and level that up with the story.

You can still do the vanilla content even if you're overleveled for it. If the questline isn't on your character, it should be in one of the kiosks in the room with all the Vanguards. Also doing the vanilla content isn't worthless after you're overleveled because it still gives bonus XP per first time mission completion to your armor, weapons, and subclass.
If you're more looking for the "1 to 25 with level ups" experience, I guess you could restart on another character slot, although it's really nothing so special. I also wouldn't recommend deleting your 25 for that because releveling can be annoying when you just want to get another character for end game content.
okay cool thanks, been blazing through the main story missions, game is a lot of fun, story's jaded and kind of weird but leveling and going back to the tower to see my engrams is just so fucking addicting, I was sleeping on this game for too long.

It gets better when you get to the TTK missions and they're proper missions for once.

the ps4 installs as it downloads. when in rest mode the ps4 uses both of its cpus to install things, allowing it to download faster

End game content (raids, mostly) is where the game really takes off.
First time raiding is an amazing experience, especially if youre with friends
