Played about 20 strikes in the last two days with my friend. So far he's got about 5-6 Legendary Engrams and the Monte Carlo exotic.
I've got Bloodpact shader 8 times and only blues.

Don't waste your keys on the 28 chest. Use them on the 32+ chests
don't waste your keys on the 28-34 chests, save them for the 35 chest if you plan to do it
you need keys to get the true level 35 loot which is the shader / emblem / ship plus a chance at elemental primaries
If it's the first time you're doing PoE, may as well use a Key on the 28 chest and get an exotic.
I used my first key on the 32 and got ghally, her right hand auto rifle and a class item

You can probably get the new exotics, I've got the ruin wings despite not having the DLC. You won't be able to buy them out right tho. Also if you like PvP the last DLCs maps are in rotation.
You can get level 32 vanguard and crucible gear. I think there's new and improved loot drops in the crucible too.
What's the best way to get Treasure Keys? I've spent several hours in Old Russia yet all I've gotten is one token of flight and shittons of engrams.
Does the Wolves that spawn on Venus give a bigger chance for keys?
Think of them like a legendary or exotic drop. I've been in groups with people getting them in skywatch, but I've yet to get one myself.
I'm yet to farm inside the Skywatch, as of now I've only done farming alongside the Forgotten Shore.
Yeah skywatch seems to be the best spot to farm. Its small and most of the chests are near the exits. One spot makes it possible to open the chest 5 times in a row if you're quick.
Did one Wolves event in Skywatch this morning, chest spawned behind the fence. Quickly ran it 4 times, each time I got a treasure key.
Wasted all my luck on Treasure Keys, when all I want is the Fourth Horsemen. ;-;

Got the Invective bounty just before HoW came out, been using it ever since, it's so fucking fun to use. Two-shotting Axis Minotaurs, one shotting Centurions and Collossus'. My favourite exotic so far, just hoping I can get the Fourth Horseman at some point.
Mine only has the first upgrade, but my buddies maxed invective got us to skolas lol
Shame I can only hold 15 shells for my invective and the ammo regen takes so long. It's like 30 seconds to regen 4 shells.
In the middle of levelling up a titan. Got him Glasshouse & Eternal Warrior, along with a few pieces of legendary gear, one with "Carry more shotgun ammo." So should be fun to use when I reach 20.

Got a legendary helm engram from the Wolves chest, decrypted into the Vanguard Warlock helm and leveled my Cryptarch. Cryptarch package gave me a legendary helm engram, decrypted into the same fucking one.
It feels good to be back in Destiny again although it still bothers me that Bungie did such poor character development in this game.
There's literally one character I find interesting and that's Variks. Remotely intresting with potential for something awesome? Speaker, Xur and Exo Stranger.
All the other ones are just... extras.
What do you guys think?

The whole lore is a complete disappointment. The world does look really good and enemy factions look and feel distinctive from each other. But the lore doesn't work as a whole. Story does really a poor job on explaining what actually is going and why we all doing this and what would become after we did what we were asked.
I think the line sums up the story pretty much which is "I don't have time to tell why I don't have time to tell you". It's sad and pathetic giving how much work was put into game. And I hoped DLSs' story would fix it up but nope. I still have no idea what I did for the Reef.
Like you said T, Bungie didn't bother to tell us any of the details. We know alot of events such as Battle of Twilight Gap, the Moon sacrifice and the Reef Wars but it's like they didn't want us to have any details which is a damn shame.
Sure, the grimoire cards help a little bit with some lore but it is still very thin.
