What's there, and there isn't much, makes it sound like there's an amazing story in there somewhere...there just isn't enough to hook you into caring.
Taking out all of the lore and putting it in the companion app was a goddamn mistake because the majority of players can't be bothered to download an app or go to the website to read about collectible lore
People who don't use the app are missing out :p
Fuck going to the tower because you forgot something in the vault. If you could turn in and pickup quests and bounties from the app I would never go back. :v:
Went 9-0 in the Trials, and got Gjallarhorn!
First time in this in game I felt truly rewarded for something. Took me like 10 fresh passages to get that flawless victory.
Feels good.

Congrats, my buds and I were 7 to 0 and had the Boon and got screwed by the other team... Won't be doing the trials again til next time for the lighthouse.

Finally finished the Nightfall, took an hour and got The Ram. With a shit roll compared to the one I got from Xur.

Got Raider and Raid with Clan members trophies from doing PoE 32, then went and rolled Full Auto/Explosive Rounds/Firefly on my Queens Scout Rifle. Should be fun as dicks to use.

I got a right hand auto rifle I really like. Rolled focused fire, rangefinder and armor piercing/skip/small bore. With small bore it seriously has no recoil, but it reduces the mag size from 25 to 22. If it had a burn it would be my favorite AR.

I feel as if the standard level of play from randoms is just way below than what I expected.

Apparently they still haven't fixed Firefly with Explosive Rounds. The explosive rounds precision kills don't trigger the firefly effect. Kind of annoying.
Ran the VoG on hard today. Thought I got nothing but the ship and mats. Got back to the tower and found a mythoclast waiting in my postmaster.
Congratulations. In case you didn't know, Mythoclast receives the buff from the "specialist" modifier that increases damage from special weapons in the Prison of Elders / Nightfalls / Weeklies.
Get melting :)

I honestly don't understand how people can like playing the crucible. It's just Gunslingers/Sunsingers running around with Hand Cannons. I played 5 games today cause i'm trying to get every trophy. Not a single person I played against used anything other than Gunslinger/Sunsinger with Hand Cannons.

The Crucible is [I]the[/I] best part about Destiny. If you're actually good and not trash you'll probably enjoy it. It is very easy to fight gunslingers (run from it) and to fight sunsingers just unload into them with everything you got.
Revolvers aren't even the strongest weapon.

They might not be the strongest weapon, doesn't stop all 20+ people I played against from only using them. Only time I saw a kill in the killfeed that wasn't a super or handcannon was when heavy ammo dropped, and that was only about 5 kills across the 5 games.
