Just solo'd all of Crota's End normal mode. Deathsinger on your own is not just a test, but THE test to see how long you can prevent yourself from raging because a horde of 300 hallowed knights come and turn you into nothing but a pile of skin and bones for the 30th time in a row.
So, when can we finally expect that anticipated Thorn nerf. This Iron Banner and Trials is just so annoying due to that shit weapon.
I love when you join a random strike just as soon as it ends, so the first thing you see is the rewards for the strike, and the disbelief from the other 2 players that you only showed up then.
My record for strikes is 1 second
The next Destiny expansion is called The Taken King, according to marketing materials sent to Kotaku. It’ll be out on September 15 and will open up a new subclass for each of Destiny’s three classes, according to the leak. This evening, a tipster sent over a large marketing sheet for The Taken King, which we’ve been able to corroborate with other sources. The sheet—which lists The Taken King at $40—offers a handful of details surrounding Destiny’s next expansion pack. For example, it confirms the existence of a new subclass for each of the game’s three classes, along with a new elemental super ability: an electrical storm for Warlocks (arc); a gravity bow for Hunters (void); and a flaming hammer for Titans (solar). Hardcore Destiny players will notice that each of these abilities revolves around the element each respective class lacks today. In addition to the usual additions we’ve seen in both other Destiny expansions so far—new Strikes, new PvP maps, etc.—The Taken King will have a raid pitting players against Oryx, father of Crota, who is apparently looking for revenge (and leading a new army of baddies called the Taken). Crota, you may remember, was the big bad raid boss in the game’s first expansion pack. He had a crippling weakness to LAN cables. Last month’s House of Wolves expansion didn’t come with a raid, although it’s safe to say that it tweaked and added enough to justify that omission, correcting many of the more annoying mistakes Bungie made in the first expansion. In January, a different leak outlined Bungie’s future plans for Destiny, and although we heard at the time that some of the details there had changed—House of Wolves, for example, came out two months later than slated in that leak—the outline did include an expansion that was code-named Comet and scheduled for September 2015. The name “Taken King” has been floating around for a while, too, thanks to trademark registrations and an accidental leak by Red Bull. Bungie declined to comment on this story. We should see more from the new expansion at E3 next week.
According to this Kotaku article about a leak of the upcoming expansion. Take it with a grain of salt.
New enemies, gravity bow for hunters, fucking flaming hammer for titans? Please let this be real
The most real thing will probably be the price tag of 40 dollars.
$40? Shit, thats a lot. There better be as much content as the Comet leak promised.
I would have loved to have a Fallen themed raid though. The Hive are a good enemy type but we already got a raid with them. I just hope they put some serious work into that raid and we get something like the Vault of Glass.

The Hive got a lot of backstory and exposition, knowing more about the Fallen would be quite great. I really like the House of Wolves missions and backstory, the Fallen are definitely a very interesting race. The Cabal can rot on Mars for all I care.

I like fighting the Cabal. Next to the Fallen they're my favorite enemy faction.
The first mars mission is a glimmer printing machine
I love the Cabal because among all of the Hive's dark darky dark darkness darkshit and the Vex being all ~mysteriously incomprehensibly advanced~ you have the Cabal just being expy Space Marines with bolters and shit solving all their problems by blowing them up
Went to the tower right at the reset and bought two more etheric lights. That's 4 from IB.

man $40 is crazy, do they really think they're putting enough things in there to cost that much that's not far off the base games price.
man $40 is crazy, do they really think they're putting enough things in there to cost that much that's not far off the base games price.
We added 3 new subclasses, let's just make 'em pay an extra $20!
bad juju, thorn or invective
man $40 is crazy, do they really think they're putting enough things in there to cost that much that's not far off the base games price.
I agree, let's be frank here. Bungie is awful at creating new and original content. Their policy of reusing assets and rehashing various gameplay elements is so common while marketing it as completely new and unique. I really like house of wolves a lot but when you look at it, it is still not adding anything brandnew. They really need to offer something seriously new and fresh to warrant such a price tag. I feel like we just get reskinned Fallen, Oryx will be a oversized knight and then a few crucible maps.
i hate variks armor so much the only combo i can use to get to 34 gives me 511 strength and nothing else
They always put awful stats on his armor but I think the armorpieces look nice, except for the titan.
They always put awful stats on his armor but I think the armorpieces look nice, except for the titan.
they look so cool but now the set is absolutely worthless stat wise
don't forget the gun has that all important shank burn again fucking why
hoping that this dlc is a legit expansion if they're willing to give it a $40 price tag. i'm not giving bungie/activision $40 for some new rares/legendaries/exotics, some crucible maps, crota's other end, and a new subfaction of hive, and a new subclass. also please don't bring back eris.
*some new rares/legendaries/exotics that 90% of look exactly like old guns just with new stats
Next week the armor will probably have different stats. [editline]9th June 2015[/editline] My ascended fang and VoC both do equal damage against enemies in pve. They really are equals :v:
4th wave of the 35 PoE this week is fucking brutal
